Thought You were still in Hawaii Man..no worries,my bad!!

I'm Using the EQ mouthpiece in my SSV hose right now testing it..i prefer smaller mouthpieces.

I actually like just drawing on just the whip, and no mouthpiece....one less piece of glass to think about.

Last night though,I stuck the SSV mouthpiece into the 18mm female joint of my Ion,and had some great water rips..I had to hold the mouthpiece there though,as I hit it.seal was pretty good

A 14mm female joint with the SSV hose is all You need though, for water or dry pipe action.
I go to HAWAII a lot and even more to TAHITI!

My collection of glass is stupid and excessive!

I like whips since I got a @DDave kit.

I might set up my new mouth piece from 7th floor.

So many configurations with glass.

Small mouthpieces I love.

Bong's have too big of a mouthpiece.

Papers are better than Bong's.

Looks like the top of your heater element isn't glowing like the rest of it seems to be; that could be your heart problem, also, try ground glass as without an air tight seal, you are pulling cool with in, too :)

Thanks 420, doesn't t The heater gets white hot at the tip though?

Some of the close ups I've seen on YT etc, the heaters look white, right at the tip.
Seventh floor have some photos of my unit so I'll just have to wait and see what they say.

So,Just then I decided to check up on you're advice, and removed the standard cover and blocked both the air inlet and heater surround holeon the cover.I then mated it to the wand to test the seal..I had a draw and damn what do ya know, there is airflow leakage even when mated straight on.pretty airy too, either slap dash glasswork or just designed that way I'm not sure?..

I will forward that info on though, thanks:tup:

Hopefully I can get a better seal standard set sent out.

i like the manual feel of the standard set up for now.

FWIW, in my experience the filament never gets white hot, just red and that's most concentrated in the middle of the length.
While you and everyone figures out the rod color I'll get medicated because I'm dedicated!

This SSV is awesome even with a whip from a @DDave kit.

I have this small custom hand blown mouthpiece.

All my glass is sparkling clean.

I went dry and loved it.

Maybe I overdosed?

NAH!

I went to load last night my CANNABIS from KAUAI however I had this pre ground GDP I had to use up.

Problem?
NAH!

PINE TREES OG (KAUAI) today dry whip SSV!

Devastated however Medicated!

It's good to see ataxian riding the wave..
I'm going to go ride the wave!

KAUAI Pine Trees OG in a SSV dry OMG!

Ride the Wave!

5 foot trees x 5 meters wide = Cola City super cropping is civilized!

SSV = FUEL 4 da SOUL

If you're a vaporist and do not own a SSV maybe your brains were damaged when you were young?

Even making the switch from ssv to lsv was difficult.. Still no replacement for the ssv standard heater cover imo.
The LSV I owned around 4 years ago and maybe I wasn't ready for it?

I was a low temperature vaporist for the longest time.

The SSV is easy to use and plenty of power.
Collecting was fun for a while?

Growing giant CANNABIS TREES is more satisfying!

I grow bushes, not trees, but, we're still doing the same good work ;)
Tomatoes Tomatos

Some groups call them bushes and some call them trees.
A plant can be a vine, bush or tree!

It's just a weed actually.

The SSV just vaporizes the COLAS cannabinoids!

What's so cool about CANNABIS is you can shape it anyway it suits your needs!

ADD: I'm very please with the way the SSV medicates with flavor even?

GDP + PINE TREES OG after brunch and down for a nap!
I feel human!

I've had two GDPs that I've tried to get going, but they've both been dudes, so had to pull them :(

Did you know, weeds do not actually exist! a weed is simply a plant growing somewhere it isn't wanted. so, a rose bush can be a weed if it is growing in your tomatoe garden ;)

Good Point!

Most vaporizers (portables and logs) I love the medical effect which are mild however effective.

The SSV is way more powerful.
The effect I have found to last longer.
However I like the feel of the SSV.

Two GonG's is like 1 wand full.

The Effect is double with the SSV.

All my glass is clean however the whip & mouthpiece was all I needed.

I'll make a Citrus Rinse for my glass pieces tonight.

Tomorrow is water world 420! (SSV+GAS)

Just curious, how you would compare your log vapes to the ssv, now that you have tried both?

I just don't use my log that much anymore. One good rip on the ssv, could be a long session equivelent to my nano.

At the time I got the NANO I mostly vaped SHATTER in a PERSEI WAX PEN I remember the flavor was incredible.

However I had other vapes that put me in a coma!

At this point in my journey the SSV is perfect.
Effect wise I would say 2X as powerful.
OK is does use more FLOWER!
Overall it's definitely more powerful.
I like my NANO and use it still however the SSV is used a lot lately.
Ask me again in a month?

Hey the SSV is a very helpful tool and definitely worth the $$$.
It started with my daughters DA BUDDHA which she gave me.

My rotation of vaporizers is growing however the SSV is front & Center!

Hi guys im currently borrowing an ssv that was mine but sold to a friend. Its the fourth time ive had in my posession and at this point im wondering why i sold them in the first place hahah. Anyway. As with any vape ive owned im getting the want or need to upgrade or change things with this ssv. Ive seen a picture on here i think of an ssv being used with a lsv heater cover and long transfer wand. I fancy giving that a try. Any one tried or used or using this set up? Pros and cons. Just trying to get an all glass vapor path. And also an lsv on a budget. Lol. All so they sell two heater covers for lsv a short and long one one is new style and one old. Ive emailed 7th floor to ask which one would better for what im trying to acheive. Non reply so far

Do you mean old and new lsv units or ssv as well? My current ssv heater cover is standard glass and has the collar and shim fixing. So does that mean i want the longer lsv heater cover to work with my ssv?

How do the two devices differ? Is your log a traditional one in that it's just on at a preset temp that you can't change?
