I like medium/fineish grind with a light squish down and start on one, finish in two.. Tasty..

Oh yeah. I like conduction screens, medium grind lightly tamped full loads in mine with flower. I usually go straight to temp 3 for those big clouds!
My favorite might be the sandwiches in the dry herb cans. I put a little flower, then a little shatter, then top it with a little more flower in the can. These I start on 2 and end on 3. These act on full conduction so they actually hit hard on temp 2, massive chokers on 3 :whoa:. I hope my friend and sister like it as much as I do! 2 more Haze V3.0 should arrive today!

I would love a screen with a lid. Or the herb-can with more holes on the sides/bottom to allow more air/heat through. Two fold. One, easy to store and bring along and not have herb fall out. Two, Sometimes I pack my screens pretty full. If I leave a full screen in and it cools, it stick to the oven covers on the top of the door and either covers the oven lid in ground herb, or pulls the oven lid out of the rubber.

Either way, I want some samples of these new screens if you make them @scottg402 :)

Happy New Year All!!!!

EDIT: Well I took a screen that had seen better days, and cut it so it fits on top of the other screen so it doesn't stick to my over lid.

V4 Ideas. Better way to hold/remove the stem for us people that are obsessed over short nails. Better over lids or holder or screens with lids so loose bud can't stick. 3 chambers. lol.

Happy New Year, Hazeonaughts! May 2016 be your best year ever!

One of the first things I did was cut some pipe screens to make lids for my Haze screens. It works great and helps keep the herb from searing onto the oven covers.

I like your idea of a perforated can with a lid. It might make a nice compromise between cans and screens when using herb. Hopefully the guys at Haze can test something like that out.

As far as the stem, yeah, they made a worthy attempt to solve the sticking stem issue in V3 but things just are not quite there yet. I have arthritis and have to store my stem outside the Haze because even after 1 use post cleaning, its too difficult to remove. Its a tough problem to solve though. You want the stem to fit tightly in the up position and because of that, just a small amount of resin residue will lock that bad boy in.

Scott- pardon my long delayed response!

Will be back in town next week after a long break and would still love to hook up and pick up a model. I am convinced, I need one of these and don't want to go without!
Sweet! Glad to see you back in the saddle! You know where to find me. Let me know when you are ready for your personalized sales demo! Lolz

So i drilled a hole in the bottom of a herb can. Sort of works out because drilling from the bottom in, the metal bends in, but it makes a little funnel up for the air to come but doesn't allow any bud to fall back down. It's close to center so it's over air draw hole. Can's smoke nicely on 2.

I'm in the squish camp, too.

:peace:

I fill can, put silicone lid on to pack down, then swap to dry lid.

I used my haze, hand held, not in pocket, on our 30 degree walk this a.m. and it worked great!

Still prefer the convection screens for flavor and herb conservation BUT now use dry lid and can to keep machine cleaner. Flavor still good. I am angry at post office because my add'l batteries and 2 new cans are sitting in their GA facility for past 3 days for some reason. Man!

Ga post is fukted up... Atl offices get swamped over the holidays and don'tget caught up til about now. best o luck and happy happy NY!

Ya mine went from Alpha to Alt to Miami, back up to Louisville, then to my home town in Canada, but then left there, to Toronto, then back to my home town, than had some processing errors. Hate holiday mail. lol. My own fault for the timing. Scott had it fixed and back out within a day when they got it, I just sent it at the wrong time.

Well...shit. I need this vaporizer. If @Stu is rocking one, that's all I need to know. It also helps to see other discerning FCers enjoying this one. Plus, I'm getting more into concentrates and have easy access. And Slow Draw McGraw's vid is sick.

It's been a while since I purchased a new vape because I've been snug as a bug in a rug with my current lineup. But this is VERY intriguing. @scottg402 - Sending you a PM shortly with a couple questions.

Cheers, everyone!

I had the best oil session tonight with my Haze and a Hydratube Bomb. WOW! Get a tube even if you don't have an EVO they go perfect with the Haze. Man how do those cans make the oil dabs stay that intense and tasty for so long? I feel like the kid wanting to know how they get the Tootsie Roll inside the lollypop!

Did the older version Haze have a tighter draw? I have the V3 and it's not tight at all. I've heard folks say the Haze has a draw restriction. Just curious, it was mentioned about a draw restriction in another thread.

Pulled the trigger on a midnight blue V3. And some oil wicks. Looking forward to trying this bad boy out before I go hog wild with accessories.

Hat tip to @scottg402 for the rapid and courteous service.
