Distilled Glass, a quality recyceler at a very reasonable price

Literally came here to ask if he'd make a recycler hydratube. Shouldn't be too different from a rig design, right?

Great, thanks--interested in pretty much any hydratube he was capable of making , recycler would just be a cool option

Some sketch up pics would be nice too. I would worry about how well a hydratube balances on top when sitting on an EVO on a table. I know I should not let it sit that way but sometimes it happens :)

@Cannabis Connoisseur how is the flavor/diffusion balance of the new piece with an Evo? Looks pretty sweet!
The flavor is awesome Bro. It retains an unbelievable amount of flavor. I cant get enough of this.
I'm so stoned from playing with this thing! I'd like to point out that I asked for a hollow base for extra water and this baby holds 2 CUPS! This thing is huge at 17 inches tall the body is 10 inches tall while the neck is 7. The water in it sounds like a violent river! It compliments the EVO very nicely. It has a slightly restrictive draw due to the amount of the water I use, but its only initially thanks to the type of perc used. That restriction is exactly what the Doctor ordered for the EVO though. It can kill an elb in one huge, flavorful hit without pulling forever. I wish I had 30 of these to pass out as XMAS gifts!

Put me on your Xmas list!

I like that the water pipe in your video is definitely the dream piece of the year!

I LOVE YOUR PIECE! I have only been dabbing for the last year and a half and I this looks like a flower piece to me (although I'm no expert by any means). Do you think this would work for an oil rig? I don't mind larger rigs but I would hate to be disappointed because I forced something to work that shouldn't be used. I've done that before ^^

I was recently considering buying a knockoff piece from Steven on DHGate (http://www.dhgate.com/store/product/mothership-klein-2015-new-high-quality-9/255785986.html) but then saw yours. I spoke to Mike and I can commission another similar one to be made. I just have a feeling that although I will love the piece for its art and function I will not use it. What do you guys think?

@Cwittneben

I am also in love with hour-glass designs.
Great fusion of form and function.
Typically, for concentrates, people seem to like small rigs.

I have a mini-hourglass that I use exclusively for concentrates.
It stands just under 8" and it rips:

I only linked the image as my hour-glass was not blown by Distilled Glass.

the piece should be great for oil. sure, it's not necessary to have a piece with diffusion and volume like that, but as long as you avoid having high-diffusion percs like a matrix or honeycomb or fritted disc you should be okay.

YungLeaner,
I was looking at that one too. Wish there was a function video...

As @alittledabwilldoya' stated most people prefer a small rig to dab. I have a VB2 that allows 3 different attachments to take massive dabs at once. We take huge dabs and my Double Recycler inspired me to get another massive piece made. Me and the wife were constantly both reaching for the Double so....... These huge pieces do the exact opposite of what most people assume. I choose low diffusion percs with large amounts of water. My theory behind this is for some reason it retains better flavor and keeps the pieces from getting dirty so fast. Regardless you get HUGE hits with flavor like candy, and you exhale clouds like a Dragon without ever choking. For me it's a face punch of THC! Due to the designs of these pieces the vapor is never really in contact with the glass. The vapor is dunked in water as it enters the piece and then never has contact with glass until it's coming up the mouthpiece. So I'm guessing it's the intense water conditioning that's making huge fresh flavorful hits! So i love the huge pieces personally!

I just received my new recycler hydratube from Distilled. Function is great. I had Mike make a wide base, so it stands on its own. Function and vortex are great. Great piece!

Wow... How much was that? Is that an appropriate question here? Sorry if it is not please feel free to pm me. That is so beautiful.. I haven't seen any other artist doing hydratubes recently and I've wanted a recycler forever.. Just got an Evo, this might be fate..? Does distilled glass just take custom orders? How would I start the process? I literally opened this thread and saw the bigger recycler up top and then this and I'm in love with this glass!

I paid $250 shipped. But this was a totally custom piece, and I got to make a lot of design decisions.

Mike from distilled glass takes custom orders. If you look at hr beginning of this thread, you can email him. I just traded emails with him to get it figured out. It took him a few weeks to get to it as I think he works custom pieces in between his wholesale work, but not a huge wait time.

Wow that's awesome and actually the type of price I was thinking would be amazing.. That sounds like the fair type of deals I used to get on custom glass in So Cal.. I am thinking of getting a new HT soon and that one is forsure worth the extra $100, I have a bomb base and was thinking of something a little smaller so maybe he can give me an idea of what that would look like and cost. really is some inspiring, amazing work and i am super interested. Don't want to start an email convo without all of my potential funds in PayPal so let me get that together! Exited to maybe get something custom instead of choosing from 3 varietys of mediocre :\
Thanks man,
Cheers

So I recently hit Mike up to make me a heady Klein recycler. Really stoked on how it came out and cannot wait to test it out =)

Here are some pics

He is making a matching drop down out of the same colors. it is not pictured below
