Got my new Hydra Bomb yesterday and after a couple of uses, it has quickly become the favorites of my 3 Hydra tubes.

So you got a new hydrabomb? Given everyone's been sorta complaining about them, what do you like about it over the other two options? Just curious.

Made some rosin for new years eve, quite successfully of not a huge haul after pressing four moist buds of two strains. Was still able to vape both the flattened buds in Evo as well as the dabs in the quartz nail in the HydraTree, GB-187, and FC-MOD+HT. I used only the tiniest amount so not crazy clouds but nice taste and effects for sure, next time I'll do bigger dabs per hit, maybe I'll freeze it to make em chips to drop in instead of scraping on the bottom of the nail. It's not too dirty but some black marks on the bottom so I guess I'll soak it? Has a wierd mark on the side that it came with on it too... How would torching clean it though?

My understanding of it is, that since the EVO is essentially dabbing at low temps, you get leftover residuals; all THC is vaped up, but whatever other byproducts that are in your product maybe aren't quite there yet. So by torching the nail after, you're essentially getting that product to a high enough temp as to where it would burn off. I believe someone told me when I was asking about this that they are "fatty lipids." I think it was either in this thread quite a few pages (2 months) back or in Noob Concentrates thread.

I'm not sure on all this, just spitballing, but my TI nail has much less residue....like none at all really. It most certainly is hotter when I use it then my VXNs....comparatively, I have a quartz banger that has residue on it like the VXN nails...but not as much, because I also think I'm getting it hotter then the EVO.

I bought a hydra bomb as well, before they sold out and deal ends. Don't let me down vapexhale bros!

I wrote my review of the new tubes a few pages back and really like them all! Bomb, HC and, turbine. The bomb has least diffusion, the turbine most. Smoothest and my fave is the turbine but all are great. I really like my nail and circ from Grav Labs too that they were sending out recently. Glad to have all five I do and I am glad they are small. Great thick glass on all of them.

Hmm well I still dont know what to do (and may not be able to make a decision before tonight when the current sale ends), maybe I should marinate on it and wait for the next inevitable sale and hope it's better (or they regigger the hydratubes).

Some are saying their (new style) hydrabombs are pretty 'bomb' in the end at least?

I will be honest, I still am having trouble figuring out which HT, whether it be the old ones, or the current slimmed down three models, that I'd enjoy best. I didn't really notice that the hydrahoneycomb looked different? Looked a lot like the hydrabomb to me? But it's similar to the turbine you say? I mean, that makes it even harder to choose if they arent even that different! A maelstrom of froth sounds like fun though? But as you say, if it's the new style, I wont get that feature of it (which in my mind, plus the "splash" means it really isn't working as well as I expect).

And yeah, beyond the hydrabomb having some flavor loss, I'm still unsure how the three stack up, or how to make a decision regarding it :/ .

No matter when you get one, use the code in my signature to get an extra 10% off if you aren't already using a code (one code at a time). If nothing else it will usually pay for the shipping+ on a kit.

Don't suppose you ship to the uk?

What do you guys think about these new "hand-made honeycomb percs" in the new upcoming hydratubes?

Fat dabs of dark golden Sublimate in a VXnail - it may seem like an unholy alliance but it is one that is setting me well & truly on my ass on this first Sunday of the year! :ko:

It's the hydrabomb-diggity.

Roth - My apologies, I have updated my post with the correct directions.

The boro slit will go downwards from left to right.

The quartz slits will go upwards from left to right.

Lastly, I thought the rounded bottom would make a better puddle but during testing, we did not see a discernible difference so we went to the flat bottoms for a bit more storage/loading flexibility where it could stand on its own.

Will the VXNails restock anytime soon ?

I finally have one of these bad boys coming in January! Used the original a ton and the Evo half a dozen times.... taking a few hits at their booth at The Emerald Cup sealed the deal!

I know this thread is 400+ pages long but I'll post a video review when it arrives
... who doesn't like vape vids? !

Thanks! !

Welcome to the EVO club, you will love the flavor of this vape! If you want recommendation on Hydratubes you can't beat a turbine for full flavor and a bit of pull restriction. It filters out even the hottest hashiest vapor so you don't cough. Or the bomb, still full of flavor but no pull restriction and very little filtration. Everything else is in between these two honeycomb the prime example of working right in between as far as pull filtration etc. My circ is like one bomb so even less filtered, my nail is kind of like the comb but perhaps a little more filtered. I'm glad I have them all.

I just got my Evo in earlier this week, but the thing is put together so tight I can barely get my elbs out, but more importantly I CAN'T UNHOOK THE EVO FROM THE POWER CORD. It is stuck so firmly that I am afraid if I pull any harder it will break leaving me $360 in the hole. I replaced my cloud plus model with this specifically for the removable plug :\

Any suggestions? I've tried wiggling back and forth/up and down barely but it won't budge! Other wise amazing product and service!

Don't wiggle too much, just a little bit up and down I found, and firmly pull it out. If it doesn't seem like its coming out...just keep pulling til it does.

I found that on my new EVO, I was experiencing the same thing. It was seemingly stuck in the back of the EVO, but I just had to REALLY pull it out. After doing it a few times, seems to have loosened up. I was also really worried about breaking it, but I'm coming up on 3 months no problems :) and if something happened I'm sure they would take care of you.

let's say you filled your hydra tube with lemon infused water. Would you notice a change in flavor? Just curious
It won't hurt it. I put cranberry extract all the time, it's nice flavoring when I put a few too many drops.
Also as far as the plug and ELB's you very likely won't break your EVO, it's tough within reason. The ELB's get easier to use each time. Getting them in and out just takes a little practice sometimes. There were a few bamboos that were tight a few months back but even those are workable.

Just pull firmly it should come out. For some reason the stock cord fits extremely tight, I just used another power cord I had from an old monitor and it's much easier to remove.

I never take it out unless I am giving the EVO a full clean and that's like every 2-3 months. Not a big deal when it gets separated 5 times a year at most.

I bought a longer cord for it and it isn't nearly as tight

Hello guys, just had a ? And hopefully I can have answered. Currently I have the nano vapor desktop and I really like it for its efficiency and taste and have no problems reaching my medicated needs. But the vapexhale still looks pretty darn impressive from reviews on here and videos. Since i have the enano is there any reason to get this vape?? Am I missing out on any big differences not having one? Is one more powerful than the other?.

Thanks in advance

I have both. IMO, better flavor and the ability to handle concentrates are the biggest advantage of the EVO over the enano. I know you're happy with the enano flavor, so you may not want to find out what you're missing as the EVO has top notch flavor. I find the EVO vapor to be smoother as well.
