DirtD1V3R, you mention that the flavor is pretty good, but in your admittedly limited experience, how does it compare against similarly priced pieces? Taste is a very important criterium for me.

I understand that you received it a couple days ago, but any indication of the difficulty in cleaning recyclers relative to simple bubblers with a single perculator?

I am undecided between the QG-13 and the venerated D020-D for my first piece to attach to an E-nano.

It doesn't seem like it will be that hard to clean. It doesn't seem to have any crevices that will be hard to get to in the future. I use mine with my arizer q right now and do not combust so I plan on using it for vaping only. The taste is better than a small hisi beaker bong that I have had for a really long time. I can't compare to the d020-d but I can tell you that the bottom perc has 8 holes that are each a little smaller than a 1/4", which I think is bigger than the d020-d's perk holes. What usually makes for a better taste bigger or smaller bubbles?

Edit: I also wanted to add that this piece is relatively easy to "start" in your pull and it is easy to clear also. Sometimes I have experienced a bit of resistance to "start" a piece with certain percs. This is not something I have experienced with this piece.

Is the Cobra Can a rattle can?

I'm hoping not as I really don't want to advertise to my wife that I'm vaping ;)

The Rattle Can does use the diffusion pump perc, known for its rattle. The amount of rattle seems to vary based on the production. I believe some people have said their FC-710 isn't noisy, but I could be mis-remembering.

Regardless, the Cobra Can design is pretty unique, so there's no way to know exactly how it will behave until it's made. My guess is that it will be a flavor-preserving, minimal diffusion piece, but it should cool the vapor more than a standard pump, due to the much longer perc tube. At the same time, it should be less restrictive than a standard pump perc, since the tubing will be larger in diameter.

As to whether the Cobra Can will be noisy, there's no way to know until it's built.

I'll definitely share additional info as it's made available. Hopefully we'll see real photos and a water test soon!

:o Damn Stevenz Binary Matrix that I ordered last Saturday made it to San Fran already! The FC-201 can't be to far behind considering I ordered it day earlier and it shipped out the at the same time lol

Wow, the nice vortex in your water test sells the QG-13 way better than the sunshinestore's.

Hey ya'll,

Been like a year since I've posted on here. I haven't ordered anything since the Mothership Straight Fab dropped from Steven. Well that broke today, apparently I didn't empty all of the water out of it. I have to leave it outside because of the smell. I smoke outside as well but luckily I keep my dab rig inside and actually dab inside most of the time.

Anyways, I need to order some replacements. I wouldn't mind a new dab rig as well I've been using the FC-710 for almost a year now. Time to switch it up. I've had lots of other pieces in the past I can't remember the names mainly all of the Mobius and Roor knockoffs possible. I told my buddy I'd sell the FC-710 for like 20 bucks without a nail. I got good use and theres a hairline crack in the joint. Works great still I'll just recommend using a nail with an adapter.

Any recommendations? One cheaper piece that will sit outside that is good for flower and won't matter if it gets broken. I don't mind spending more money on the dab rig. I have a newvape 14mm female nail and carb cap but I don't know how much I'm actually digging that setup. Open to new nail suggestion as well. I usually prefer quartz but I like the ti-nail and carb cap because it minimizes smell from excess smoke off the nail.

Just heard from Steven/Jane that the Fc-FTK will mail out next week when I inquired. Which I'm taking with a grain of salt but in the past I've only had positive experiences with them so I'm not too worried.

Quartz banger, w/carb cap. Low temp dabs + quartz = great taste!

Ordered from Steven weeks ago , tracking #'s we're not working so I contacted them , they kept saying sometimes they do not work , gave it another week with no success . Contacted again and no reply so I contacted dh gate customer service and bamn Steven store replies back after that saying it shipped. Turns out they never shipped it and just gave me any old tracking # , it went out after I had contacted dhgate and I woke up this morning with a early door bell ring , it finally arrived . Only took about 8 days to get to NewYork . Got my möbius matrix copy , it's got the möbius symbol on it , oh we'll , it looks nice , def smaller looking than the pictures online . I can't wait to try it , gotta wait a bit bc I have to take the little cousins to see Star Wars .

This is standard DHGate/seller nonsense. I've never been ripped off in ~12 or so various purchases from there, but I've been lied too nearly every time.. Fake tracking numbers, lies/miscommunication regarding shipping date and the apparent ability for them to author their own tracking # (my shipment said US despatch> China posting> US shipping and sorting).

If I were you I'd just be stoked it came in less than 2-3 weeks! I've never gotten anything in any less than 2 weeks from China direct. DHgate has tested and expanded upon my patience thoroughly, however in the end its always (thus far) worth it.

My cheapo hydratube recycler from DH gate ended up leaking at the joint from the recycler to the main can. It was fine until I cleaned it with some pbw but after the pbw wash it developed a super small pin hole leak. After noticing the leak I cleaned it out and let it dry out. I figured I would try heating that spot up with the torch to try to seal it back up. The whole weld ended up cracking as soon as it put the torch to it.

I'm bummed as I loved the recycling on it. Has anyone asked SSS, Steven, KATHY or any of the better vendors to make this piece except with thick glass, better welds, etc?

Be sure to specify that the perc should be above the return tube. My current version shoots water up the return on the initial pull

I have only purchased about 6 pieces in my lifetime from dhgate , last one from Steven was a ht that worked but not perfectly , they were cool and said do a dispute and we will refund you so I got a free piece out of it and thought I'd give them some business back so I ordered the möbius copy from them. Made out well , it arrived quick but not in the original time frMe that it was supposed to. I'm happy though.

Actually if you order from the reliable vendors from dhg I think most people are extremely happy with their purchases. I know I have been.
