best weed to use in a vaporizer?

hi everyone. Is there a strain of weed that works best or better then others when using your vaporizer? Like, to be more specific, I know its obvious that a really good high grade would perform well, but is there specific high grades or any grade, medium or low or high, that perform better then others when used in a vaporizer? And what is best, really fresh or dried out? thanks in advance for your input.

As important as the MJ is it may not as important as knowing how to get the best out of the vape. I have wasted my share of product out of ignorance using good vapes. As to specific strains working better then other strains not in my experience but I am sure I have only vaped a small portion of all the strains available.

Totally agree. It's more about learning how to get the most out of your vape rather than the particular strain that you are vaping.

In my experience, most good vaporizers can cope with a range of 'grades' and levels of 'moistness' (:brow:). I would imagine that this is a major goal for vaporizer design/engineering teams.

Bear in mind that many market themselves as "herbal aromatherapy devices" so they're geared towards extracting vapour from a wide range of herbs, flowers, buds and whatnot; intra-herb variability shouldn't matter too much :leaf:.

It doesn't come down to strain but making sure your cannabis is properly cured. Cannabis begins to lose potency over time, so make sure you are storing your product to insure freshness. Making sure that the cannabis that you buy isn't too dried out. That might mean the cannabis hasn't been properly stored.

I personally have a C-Vault and use the Boveda packs. A mason jar works too adding a Boveda pack inside, keeping in a dark area. I notice the farmers selling at the Cannabis market uses the Boveda packs.

If you use as you go and are not storing larger amounts it wouldn't matter as much how your product is stored. Light and heat are cannabis's worst enemy.

Getting to know your vaporizer is the key so you can extract the goodies from your cannabis to the fullest. Heat and draw technique takes practice. Often its finding the right vaporizer to fit your needs.

thanks for the comments everyone. Yeah, I guess its sorta like I thought from the beggining, there doesnt seem to be any specfic strain, they all work well if you keep your weed fresh and know how to get the most out of your vaporizer. As far as fresh, well maybe it taistes better fresh, but I have tried well dried out weed with hardly any smell, and still get just as good results strenth wise,

Yup. Me too. As a matter of fact, if I store bud that is sticky, smells great and is really crystally in an airtight container for a month, it's stronger than the day I got it while at the same time, being a little less sticky, less smell and not as good looking.

yep. Ive got some over a year or two , high grade bc bud , that has almost no smell to it, and ussually it has a really strong smell. When I vaporize it in my firefly or plenty, I can get almost zero taste for most of the session, but wham! Hits just as hard as the day it was bought. But in other vapes, like my iolite or solo, it still has some taiste to it, not as much, but just as strong a buzz. I find each vaporizer really is different in the vapor and effect you get from them. I imagine someday someone will figure out how to grow a strain of weed that works better then others do when using a vaporizer.

Blue Dream gives off a lot of vapor. Effects don’t seem any better or worse than other strains in the vape, just something we all noticed when we pack a bowl in the crafty. Maybe double the vapor output?

yeah, now looking back at my question and thinking on it, I guess everyone is different. Some might like a lot of vapor, myself I prefer none because I find it easier on the throat. I guess the best in my opinion would be the one that vapes best at low temperatures and hits hard, that way it would be healthier for you and potent as well. I find vaporizing in general to be the greatest thing thats come about ever when it comes to enjoying weed. With long, very slow draws I am able to get way more usage out of my product then combusting and the next day I feel a lot better then I would if I had smoked it.
