Was watching a movie and came back to my desk with my vapcap sitting in my 18mm adapter after a little use. I picked it up to notice a decent size oil slick left behind.

My condenser tube is getting so dank :mmmm:, I should drop it in some hot chocolate tomorrow morning :)

Damn you usps! That's 3 grasshopper shipments and now my vapcap that will be late. Bastards are batting 4 for 4 the last 2 months. Really hope it shows up Saturday (it's somehow still near Dan and I'm In Seattle...) someone take a holiday rip for me!

Man I've just been smearing dabs on the inside of the stem and then just givin 'er all she's got. Reminds me of using a globe pen but x10 better. Just been pairing it with the bubbler from the FC-Mod and a J-hook and I'm getting massive clouds. I think the screen I've got inside is just soaked in claim and it just keeps on hitting like crazy. Reminds me of those globe pens but with MUCH better flavour.

The current set-up.

Is that glass from the VapeXHale Devistator? If so we may be the only two people on the planet to have one.

Now where are you sticking your dabs? Not in the bowl area? You got me confused and wondering. Thanks.

That my friends is actually just the knock off from Stevenlmz79 on dhgate.

Quite well done actually.

So normally I'll load it when she's already warm so when I started film it wasn't so I hit it with the torch just a bit.

I'll say it again, I can't wait for my Ti/Woody.

My blackwood vapcap arrived today. I just got the hang of it. Feathering the hole works wonders. Took me about 40 minutes to master. If you read the instructions and other people's advice here it should probably take less time. This thing is pretty awesome. It's very restricted with the hole covered, but I think it works best with the hole partially covered. I thought I combusted my second load, but I really just charred it to black. With pretty much every other vape I've used I've found mixing the pack helps. This has a small enough pack that I didn't need to mix, which is a big plus for me. I'm already regretting not getting the dugout, cause that magnet would be really helpful, but I'll probably get a piece of leather or something to use to handle the cap while it's still hot.

Got mine. One woodie, and two OG's. Waiting a little on the Pyro.

First thoughts on Woodie are good. Slightly more airflow. I think getting an OG is great for training, as it is easier to use with the clear viewing window. The new dugout is also bad ass. Very powerful magnet. Love that it fits all models unlike my first one.

George also took some of my advice and increased the length and width of the diggeroutter. Love this change too. More to come.

At my moms for Xmas Eve at the moment and very glad I brought my cap and dugout. Makes for good Xmas cheer when mixed with gin, whiskey, and good IPA's. Did I mention Krazys family likes to party? Merry Vap-Mas all.

Wow ok, this is even better than I thought. It takes bit to get the hang of but once you know how it works it's easy to replicate good results. Certainly easier than the MFLB, I'd say about the same as the lotus. The digger outer is ingenious, and the cap is surprisingly easy to handle soon after the cool down click.

Victory! I have unboxing pictures, and some video of the woody grain. Looks like I will have to upload, so they won't be up untill after Christmas probably.
First review: Enjoy it more than the Pax, better flavor profile, more of a learning curve, but with included notes, which I have pictures to post, and the tips here, it would appear shallow to me. Will definitely look into a single flame torch. The biggest single tip I have is heat from the middle back, the tip is where combustion occurs. Merry Christmas.

Alright, I'm strongly considering the woody now especially that sexy blackwood. I'm just wondering if the Ti woody heats up with a standard bic faster than the og glass? That was the downside for me with my glass and kind of why I swayed to my mflb again (that and I got new batteries).

Oh my she has arrived! I literally had to chase down the postman as he forgot to put it in my box. After unboxing i was pleasantly suprised at how small it is. I am very used to butane style vaping as i have a vapman and a lily. Took about too bowls to get the hang. hardest part is remembering to rotate while heating and waiting for the cool down click. Tastes great...i love how i can adjust the hit to fit the mood i am in..if i want to peel myself off the floor i can do that or if just want to mellow and chill i can do that. @Ed's TnT nice job on the wood. @VapCap nice job!!

I like the feathering technique as discussed in earlier posts...works like a champ!!

My suggestion is don't use a bic. Use a torch. If you want to use a bic smoke a bong or pipe.

The woodie will not perform better with a bic than the glass. A bic can be used in a bind, but is certainly not recommended for regular usage. Why do you insist on using a bic? Just wondering.

I just like bics. They're simple- you use them until you lose them or they run out (which never happens). That and probably because lighting the vc with a bic is kinda similar to lighting a cig and joint and those are very familiar to me and something I kinda miss.

I have an old zippo.... do you recommend that? It's not exactly a bic but it's something I'd prefer over a torch.

I haven't tried a zippo but really think that without a torch, your results won't be as good. Again you could certainly use one if you have nothing else, but if speed and best results are important to you i certainly recommend the torch

Got the green Package present (santa was Green, right ?) yesterday ! Couldn't be better.

1st impression : it's tiny ! The glass lip at the bowl isn't so smooth and kind of "whitey", not perfectly straight. That's normal ? Just a detail you know but that sometime count ! Also I cleaned the mouthpiece cause it have some plastic smell which I didn't liked, I also did a few dry heating as suggested. So overall I like the look but there is room for perfection (TiWoody :p ? )

Of course I had to try it prior to family dinner. The first bowl was really promising unfortunately I didn't succeed replicate this. Third bowl I combusted not hearing the faint click (was used already to the double one already and louder 2nd).
So 1st cleaning : I thought I won't use alcohol as suggested and I broke the condenser tip while cleaning :/ , 3 second before it cracks I was telling myself : "mmmh, that's really thin, it will break" . Seems like I had to prove it right away. Alcohol is a must to fully clean the condenser I would say.... I then used the triple torch to melt the glass to make it smooth and get it back closer to its original form.

I also have been trying it without the condenser tube. Will have to try again with new heating tech. Thanks @cwheezy . Although I'm not to your level yet. Need more practice. I had some 1 hit extraction going charred and I'm not found of that taste but that was better than getting my bowl extracted without really getting much vapor, feeling like waisted compare to my other vapes. I hope I'll get in between those 2 extremes.

Deffo a learning curve with such tool. Need more experiments with loads, packing and heating, so much variables to play on...
Will get back if I succeed more with my results and look forward to other experiments ...

Seriously considering the Tiwoody but I'll give more chance to the glass-Vapcap although I don't see it beating the Lotus for me.

I get what George was talking about when he said no need to save ABV with the vapcap. My abv has been coming out completely extracted, a dark, almost black color. I'll post pictures of the abv in my ashtray when I get the chance.
