Deal of the day is the Evolver Hydratree. I am pretty sure it's the same type I have, I actually just dug up my Order# for warranty information (no problems, just covering my bases, FYI Jeff told me that they would accept warranties registered post 30 days, that they typically are just looking for the purchase date) and it says Final Release Evolver Hydratree Starter Kit, so I do think they are the same.
Anyways, it's a great piece of glass. I'd highly recommend it. For the price, I'd say it's a steal, as mine is a quality blown in terms of dimensions, its quite thick, and it percs really nicely and you have a lot of control with filtration, will get a big chuggier the more water you put in but I still do like that on occasion. Typically just fill past the slits though. IMO it also looks cool to hit, watching the bubbles percing/popping at the top of the tree while hitting.
For $300 I think is steep for what it is, but for $200, I do think is more than fair. With the sale, a steal I tell you! Considering buying another, and this is just subjective on my end, I think it looks nicer than the sidecar styles.
Waiting on the other sales. I may be privy to that Gordo Scientific, I don't really want an extra adapter kit so maybe if they would work with me, I'll have to see. Not totally sure, I'm going to a LHS today so if something catches my eye for roughly the same price, I probably won't. I think I'll definitely snag a hoodie and a different colored shield though.
