Another ti woody order here who just got an "order complete" email. Really hope that means it will ship today, I'll be very happy to have this and a hopper for my Christmas party. Order 172 by the way

Just did a test, trying to use my Woody Ti on a walk back from town in 40F weather.

Harder to hear the click outdoors with wind so I definitely overheated the cap. I believe this will be mitigated with more practice on the heat timing and "feel". I did not combust but came very close, the vapor was very combusty-tasting (nasty) but ABV was not ashed, just very black, so I think just below full combustion.

So my initial recommendation for anyone new is lean towards the side of Under-Heating while you get the hang of it.

I am starting to not use the carb at all. With this method it takes me 2-3 reaheating cycles of the same material to start getting decent clouds and still have coffee colored abv at the end. This is a bit redundant from posts earlier in the thread, but more recent discussion has been around carb hole usage, so it has been forgotten a little (that it takes a few reheats with no carb usage to start seeing non-wispy clouds).

So far, I really like the discrete size of this vape and it has a more conduction-type vape signature than my other all-convection vapes, so that's a good addition to the collection. Plus, it's really fun to use.

More testing to do.

Me too I have 2 click on both my OG VC.
Loving them quite a lot, they are inside a modified dynastash, no stash but double vapcap storage.
First try I hit the cap with the point of the inner flame (as with vapman) but I get very dark abv and nasty taste even if not ashes, nor combustion.

I went away with flame (single flame), now I am barely touching the cap with the outer flame and getting wonderful solids hits. Very easy once you get it to have consistent results.

Taste side I find vaponic more grassy even if more complicated to use. VC taste for me is on the same level than vapman is, radiation-conduction side rather than convection, even if I get bigger clouds from VM with same strain, but less hits.

I will definitely get a woody if they are as good as they are gorgeous, and a modified dynastash with no stash but a coil in second hole in order to heat VC without fire if @VapCap create it :-)

Yeah I've always gotten 2 clicks though, sometimes I just get one. I typically always get 2 off clicks though.

I tried heating my vapcap right where the digger and the rim meet. Then when I feel like it has plenty of heat there I move my flame up all while spinning the vap. If you get the extra heat on the glass tube it'll pull in more hot air longer. Keeping in mind where I'm heating up doesn't have herb on the other side. I'm not really hitting the glass itself with my torch but, damn near it. I feel like heating the cap entirely on the other end heats up the glass directly on the load too quickly and ends up charring the front of your load. This is the biggest clouds I've gotten, and I'm not even near charring.

I find this thing can char an entire load without actual combustion. Not entirely pleasant but it's better than actual combustion in the thing.

*Shit I forgot, even in that video, I've been using this e-nano basket screen. I never noticed a difference in air flow with carb as opposed to the regular screen, I just hated trying to put it back in.

Looks like I got a Xmas Eve ETA on my package too. Stoked.

Should have a Woodie, a couple of glass VC's, a PyroVap, and maybe even something else to try too... we shall see.

Have a Merry Vap-Mas ya'll

Also... Go Lions to anyone currently watching my pitiful Leo's on MNF.

Happy to report I received my vap cap this morning, out came the girlfriend telling me Xmas has come early with a smirk on her face she knew I've been hoping it was here before Christmas, love the metallic green padded envelope it came in as well @VapCap very festive

I'm got to give it a few trial runs empty to get the hang of the click tonight and then fill it up and give it a whirl tomorrow. Am I right in thinking its best to grind your herb first as opposed to a simple rip and stuff, don't mind either way. Will also try out some new bubble I've just made form this years outdoor trim its wonderful in the lotus so I'm hopeful this will be the case with the cap.

Oh yeah thanks for the lighter too will come in handy and already half filled with butane surprised it got thru security to be honest. I have a good feeling about this little vape can see it being well used and loved, might have to get a woody and a dyna stash in the future if this pans out ;)

I remember reading that both work fine, however ground material will probably vape faster than unground simply because of more surface area.

So I imagine much has been discussed concerning the differences between the woody, the pyro, and the original vapcap. Any chance someone who's been with the thread for awhile can page reference me for a good starting point?

2 hours ago I received notification that my Cocobolo Titanium Woody VapCap (order 395, placed October 28th) as well as my Paduak DynaStash (order 450, placed November 20th) orders are complete. I am beside myself with excitement.

Really liking the OG, love how vapor cames thick and cool, no harshness. I think this is the main advantageof this kind of device (radiant-conductive) and VC in particular; convection vapes gives fresher taste but ask for a lot of inhale to be effective and so quite aggressive throat wise, vapcap the opposite.

Btw I find taste suffers a lot when you close carb hole, I guess because convective air is too hot (and maybe not intended to?) carb open works better for me (even if I like to strip out the last bit of vapor waiting for the cooling click with carb closed)

Can't wait for woody vs OG firsts impressions

So pyro is for full on e liquids or oils, the VapCap can do more solid concentrate and herbs. The TiWoody has Ti bowl instead of glass, with a steel inner tube also instead of glass (early versions had glass too), and wood ofcourse. Only @Mister G has one so far...
