After much research I bought my first desktop , and who would have thought it would be as small or smaller than my portables . I just pulled the trigger on a fiddleback maple and some GonG and stems while the Merry Maple deal is up . I bought one of each screen type stem and GonG so I see what stem type I prefer . From just looking at it I would say the all glass , but from reading this thread It seems the adjustable is preferred .

After about a month of reading and watching videos , It came down to this and a Herbalaire Elite , both about same price (when u add nano extras) . I decided to go with the nano because I really miss my on demand vapes that I sold the firefly and esv . I don't necessarily miss them as a whole, but just the ready to go aspect . I plan on leaving the Nano plugged in and I even bought the oil dish ,which my girl will like since she already has these type of things throughout the house . I think being able to come up to this thing at any time of the day and just take a nice big hit is my most wanted feature in a vape right now , and that really made me go for the nano on this purchase . I think this will make a good trio with a mighty and Air , I am hoping the nano will become my "homebase"

I will just have to put the herbalaire, on the list for next time . I have actually eyed the enano for over a year ,but the next best flashy thing with batteries always seems to get my purchase. I think this vape will be a great tool to have in the stable , no matter what next best thing comes out . I am pretty sure I made the right decision and I can't wait to find out when I get it .

I know most of you prefer the adjustable stems, but I was considering going with a fixed stem and then just putting a flat screen in it - so then it becomes just like the Arizer Solo setup. Is the position of the screen on the fixed stem the same distance as the default distance you set for the adjustable one with the Epic pick?

I think the fixed stems would be easier to clean, and since I can buy like 500 screens on eBay for almost nothing, it seems more economical too in the long run.

The all glass fixed screen stems are good I don't have any left because when I drop them they break right at the fixed glass screen.
The adjustable stems don't break every time they are dropped which I like. I enjoy using the fixed glass stems and plan on buying more. They give the cannabis a nice flavor.
They are very easy to clean.
I used a thicker grind so I didn't get as many cannabis flakes because I didn't want to use a screen, that's the whole point.
I can't remember if the fixed glass stem is where the adjustable default screen is? It's probably pretty similar.

Haha, I actually got a fixed glass GonG on Thanksgiving when it went on sale, and I have yet to use it. I just haven't been using my Nano through water much recently, and when I have, it feels like a shame to get such a pretty GonG dirty so I used the regular one. :p Personally, I prefer to suck down a minimal amount of herb, and that's what turns me off about the all-glass stem, though I loved honeycomb screens for combustion (and even still have a pipe with five small holes in the bowl--my favorite glass pipe, actually). If I had to try and rationalize this, I'd have to say that bud has a more unpleasant mouthfeel than ash, even if it obviously doesn't taste as bad. :p

That's brilliant; I can't believe I didn't think of that. My one concern with that would be that the screen may fall/fly out if you blow out the ABV when you're done. Does seem like a totally feasible way to use a flat screen though, so yeah, awesome. I already have some 3/8" screens from Ed's TnT that would be perfect. :p Oh yeah, as for the distance to the screen, on my GonG it's pretty much right on.

Well, I ordered a fixed glass stem so now I can find out for myself :)

I'm going to try putting a screen in it and see how well it works. I like changing my screens often so this could be a great solution. Will report back and let you all know how it works.

Btw, I am LOVING the E-Nano so far. It's actually much, much better looking than I was expecting. For some reason I was expecting a more industrial look based on the pictures on the site, but in person all of the attention to detail really stands out and I love the way it looks on my desk. Not to mention how efficient it is with my herb.

@Gandalf with a little light prying I got an Arizer Air screen into my fixed screen gong. Works well but does require cleaning often. I like that setup, and barely any particles get through, but I still find myself using the non fixed more often. I like being able to move the screen, and found the domes quicker to deal with when cleaning.

Screens are easy to cut with scissors to the size that you need if they are too large. Just be careful you don't get any metal slivers in your fingers.;)

Haven't been using Nancy much....or at all....since getting my LSV...but only because I need to quench the thirst of my newly owned vape. Despite being addicted to it, I still look under my bed every night to make sure that pretty blue eye is still staring back at me.
It's nice knowing that she's there, guaranteed to work, and any moment of the day. While she's not getting any physical use, the fact that she's there still puts my mind at ease :)
Nano Nation all the way! Nancy is always my true love ;)

Here is 1 for the Enano. I have since aquired a volcano and let me tell you, while I have enjoyed that vape for the while, and had thought initially that the volcano pushed the Enano into early retirement. Last night , Or rather this morning, I have reunited myself once again with the first vape I have actually fell in love with.

The Enano rose from the ashes and came back to life. I went to reminisce of old times and it was actually better this time. Owning two totally different vapes has made me understand how to use the Enano more skillfully and efficiently, this small vape is indeed a powerhouse for its size when compared to the heavy hitters.

Had this idea now 20 min into a enano "sleepy time" ritual so I had to draw it up and show folks here, I know I seen something similar from ... Jarrrr something glass ? (sry dude) but my idea was just to be able to dump up to a half a gram into the "globe" and the enano heating element would be separated by the screen in the bottom but still around 1-2 mm, you could shake or stir through the carb, I am thinking about this as slow draw long chill type of deal or make the enano a group vape, even though the design shows "14-18mm" I was always thinking about direct draw stem, but I would just connect it to the "globe" with the silicon ring that comes with it ;)

I guess it could make the enano into more off a pipe experience, wonder how much it would cost to get this made ?

Interesting idea. The only "problem" I could see is the lack of even burn. Basically, I wouldn't see this as a group sesh vape replacement, as it should function the exact same as the Nano, except now you have more bud AROUND the area of heating. This turns the device into something a little different than the regular large sized bowl vaping experience.
You now have, essentially, a representational gun...
You have a barrel (the path from the heat through the herb, to the mouth), and you have the clip (the area around the herb that isn't heated but still holds herb.)
Basically, what you have created, is a method to vape a select area of herb, then shake (reload) more, fresh herb, into the "heating chamber" (barrel)

Is this making sense....hahaha.
I don't know why I'm talking around what I want to say, but that's how it came out.

While I said earlier "i wouldn't see this as a group sesh vape replacement," I still see it being very useful for groups. What I meant was...it's not your traditional group sesh experience. It's not 4 people hitting through one pile of bud, it's 4 people hitting through 4 piles of bud separated by what is actually heated.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

haha yeah I get the even burn part and this is basically taking what Enano is and changing it to not be what Enano is :D, like putting a electric generator in a EV that runs on fossil fuel :p

but yeah you said it, its basically a "gun" type that lets you shake the bullets around and see who fires, its not very effective but the point was just to have like a "large pipe to slowly puff on" while I read or watch TV

also why I asked "how much would this cost?" because its a 50/50 idea ;)

It can clog your screen if you put it directly on. (Not problematic, as can be cleaned)
Drop a bit of hash that you pressed into a small disc ontop of a layer of herb.
Start the temps a little lower as the hash is dryer than herb.
Experiment with discs vs powdering it.
I've had success wjrh dry hash.
I can't give you a number, as all units are different, but start with 6 and move up or down from there.

For those that use water pieces, what temps do you use when vaping low and when vaping high, when vaporizing bud?

Lately I just leave 7 on the dial. Sometimes it chars it alittle bit and sometimes its just right.
