I still have my 2.5. I recently decided to try some crumble after mostly grind and shatter.
What temps or settings do you use for crumble?
It seems like it needs to be 3 or 4 2 is slow with little visible vapor.
After only 2 and then 3, what was left in the can was still sticky.

OK, My Haze 3.0 came in last night and my girlfriend gave it to me for Hanukkah! I tried all of the methods with 4 types of flower and 2 types of concentrates.

First off I started at 1 and ended on 3 on my first flower session in a conduction screen. These gave great flavor and decent clouds on 2 and 3. Not underdog sized clouds but slightly better than my Pax 1. Then I tried the convection screen. I found this needs to be on temp 3 to get good clouds. Decent but I like the conduction better I think. I will keep playing with different packs and strains in this. I have it with me today with 2 conduction screens and 2 types of flower. Sour grape and Headband, 2 totally different flavors!

Now it's time for concentrates which make up about 75% of my usage lately.By this time battery 1 was dead so I switch over to #2 (That is NICE!). I put a dab of very high end aromatic nug run Death Star wax in the can. Put the temp on 4 and let her heat up. This took a while to heat up! But that is a very high temp for a portable so that's understandable. I started hitting long slow draws and could really taste the wax, but not much visible vapor. I continued to hit it 20-30 times thinking maybe the vapor just wasn't visible since I could still taste it every hit. I removed the can when it felt futile and it was getting really hot on the outside anyway. Inside the can was still a little bit of oil not vaporized? This confused me so cleaned it out and put this time much bigger dab of Full melt Bubble Hash in the can. I t was already hot so I let the can heat up for about 45 seconds and started to draw, Again good flavor but not much vapor. I set it down and got some Promised Land brand chocolate milk (try it, it's amazing!), I get back and take a slow draw and finally I got a good concentrate hit. Not huge but nice and tasty for sure. I continued to draw getting small hits from the full melt hash but still getting hits. I hit it what must have been 25 times for 10 minutes or so, passing it to my girl occasionally as well. I turned off the unit and took out the can only to find "Oil" still in the can. It had not fully vaporized even on heat setting 4? Am I using too much concentrate in the can? (It wasn't that much, maybe 2 dabs). Or is this just how it works? If anyone has any tips on how this could be a better concentrate device let me know. I have heard of flower sandwiches but this doesn't seem like it would work any better than straight shatter, does it?

So this may not be the best concentrate device, which is fine since I have a Henail and a ceramic donut atty on a VW box mod. BUT I love it as a flower vape! I think this will replace joints, Pinch hitters, the pax and Hammer Pro as the go-to flower devices on the road!

Thanks Scott!

My guess is you have the can in backwards? Which way are the hooks? Also is the lid on correctly? Check those first. :)

Everytime i use concentrates i get bigger clouds then normal, but in all honesty its never tasty to me. I think i just taste too much of the silicone lid to taste my concentrate fully.

Question: How long between actual draws?

I was only waiting 30 to 45 seconds max and made sure to finish with a stronger draw to make sure it didn't hit that 5 min shutoff.

It was confirmed i had a slightly malfunctioning unit to begin with a good 10 months ago, So really it's amazing the unit lasted as long and gave me as many wonderful long sessions as it did.

I didn't bother sending it back because the malfunction reminded me of a feature i miss from the old v1 with silicone lid. The blinking feedback that let's you know you have gone under temp. I really got good at taking a draw slow enough to not even trigger it on the v1.

I still do that sometimes by accident. Just make sure the metal tip of the lid is pointing at you not the Haze and that the air hole is lined up with the side hole of the oven. This is an oil monster with great flavor.

Good evening fellow haze users,
I have a question about the charger. I noticed it's making a noise. Like a crackling or humming noise. I had 1 battery in it charging. Is it ok to keep the battery in it after its fully charged? Also I bought the car charger cord. Does it plug into the haze or the charger? Thanks in advance. To Scott from haze, I'm having a hard time registering on your website? Not sure why. I can't remember if I registered all ready. Is there a way to get my info if I already registered? Thanks again.

Crackling is not normal. Might be defective?
Take the battery out as soon as you can once fully charged.
Pretty sure the car charger plugs into the battery charger.

@Haze Vaporizers one thing that you have not done all that well. At least when it comes to me. Is.....not confirming where to send my replacements or orders. Not all people live at one set place. Example, like people who travel for work months at a time. I was told by someone that If they confirmed every order they would get nothing done. Really Haze? I would think not having confirmed the address cost you shipping and will again once it's returned, if at all and has to be sent to the correct address. Mail forwarding is only active for a few weeks when moving after that the new people living there are hopefully trustworthy and send it back. I'm not pissed off here but from my business experience you want to confirm EVERYTHING it saves time and money. Call me crazy though.:freak:

I've now had my hands on my V3 for 3 days now. I'll be sharing my thoughts here soon and the differences I noticed when comparing it to the other versions. The V3 surprised me in its own ways. Neat-oh! Hopefully I'll get all my notes together tonight and post them later tonight or tomorrow. Cheers all, happy Hazing & happy HoliHaze to you!

The charger does make a noise although it's very quiet and can normally only be heard when everything else is quiet, it's a hard noise to explain in words but it's kinda like a high pitched screech almost like the old dial up internet sound, it also sounds different if there is no battery in the charger compared to while charging and different again when battery is in charger but fully charged.

I have quite a few different chargers and some make the noise and some don't depending on the brand, I'm sure if everyone here plugged their haze charger in and held it close to their ear they will also hear the noise.

For the record that person was me. I am not sure why this is going on the board. @ichibaneye ran to post this before I even had a chance to resolve the issue (which I did).

I could go on with a further explanation to why this happens but I don't feel the need to explain myself to the world on this thread. I think many of you appreciate the dedication to service and taking care of the customer. I make mistakes like anyone else (our systems we have don't always help either) but it's evident here that I can't please everyone.

@Ed's TnT did some custom Haze work for me. He said this was his very first Haze V3 stem. African blackwood to match the wong. The top item is for my Underdog. It's on the way to me!

Are there any known issues with the supplied batteries or charger that come with the Haze V3?
Either my charger came broken or both batteries are DOA.
Am I supposed to deal with the distributor I purchased the Haze from on Black Friday or deal with Haze directly?
Thanks for any input guys

Where I live concentrates are few and far between. So I'm little ignorant about how to do concentrates with my Haze. Hell, I'm a lot ignorant. The only time I tried it it just melted and evaporated away.
I thought someone would respond to "mrbonsai420" and tell me what I'm doing wrong.
I love this vape. The dual oven is my favorite feature of this thing. Using conduction screens on 1 gives you the most amazing taste.

For the record Haze Technologies and the Haze products are top notch. I've always felt that way and nothing to the contrary.

One example of the Haze items I particularly like is the brush tool. I recently upgraded grinders and the grinders teeth are longer than my previous grinder. Now this is where the Haze brush shined for me. My other little brushes brissils are to short for vertical sweeping. Not the Haze brush it has longer brissils. Score!

I know it's just a little brush but it's still pretty cool and has multiple uses. Just like the Haze Dual V3 and it's previous versions. Sweet!

Hi Dyna,

I am waiting for @mrbonsai420 to troubleshoot and see if he had them in backwards. I really think that was the issue.

Proper usage is a small dab (rice size or less) in the can. No cotton wick. Just drop it in the bottom. Make sure the silicone lid is seated right (you should see how things will line up). Cans placed in the chamber properly and then kick it on to level 2-4 based on your preference.

Let us know if we can help otherwise.

Thanks
Scott

They weren't backwards, But I haven't tried concentrate again since. It makes since where the holes line up to draw the vapor from the can. I'll give it another shot tonight, I may have put too much in. Got it packed with 2 conduction screen packs of flower for today though!

Welcome to the family!

Yep...That's normal. You will be used to holding it where you can do it with comfort. The battery will always stay cool though.

Also might want to stick to level 1 with e-liquid.

What is the official Haze website for purchasing? When I search for Haze I get three different ones: hazevaporizers.com, hazevaporizer.net, thehazevaporizer.com. I assume its hazevaporizers.com, but I just want to make sure.

Also make sure you don't put too much. Saturate, don't soak. You should not see liquid over the pad. The pad should simply be damp with liquid.
