Discontinued Daisy vaporizer by Triihouse

So happy I have a Lily and a Daisy...such excellent tools...must be very careful with these collector items.

I know right? Don't want to get paranoid, but I might put the wood MP back on to better protect against glass breakage. (good idea @Gregori )

Been using my Daisy more and more lately. If it somehow broke and I couldn't get another, I'd be really upset. :ugh: Such an incredible vape

Wow
Thank god the build quality and creative design allow us to enjoy our units without having to run back to triihouse for repairs.
Now if the make rubber floors......

Well, the main wood piece should last a lifetime I would think. I guess we need a nice glassblower to offer extra mouthpieces and heat intakes. (Assuming the worst, and triihouse never comes back. Fingers crossed that doesn't happen.)

Also, if anyone knows the screen diameter, and or a source to purchase these, I would personally appreciate it.

Hope things are going smoothly for Triihouse though, sure seems like its been quite a while just for moving.

I would hate to see Triihouse end, but like when Aerozap or Purple Days ended, and Underdog and HI and others popped up things will go on and someone will come pick up the pieces. It certainly isn't ideal but with rough situations like this for one person, opportunity opens for another willing to grind hard inovate and make their own name in the market.

I'm not about to put the wood mouthpiece back on my Daisy. I much prefer her naked. I have been thinking for a while to get a blower to make a longer neck though. The thought of breaking the glass and not being to replace it will motivate me to get my butt into gear.

What I want is a boomerang-like piece with both ends the same length and long enough so that when inserted it can be spun around in the body and still clear the intake stem. This will give me a better viewing angle and allow me to hold the Daisy out from body a bit. In addition, I will be able to pack it up into a padded bag in one piece by spinning the neck 180deg to protect the intake.

The only problem will be the balance of the device. I may have to rotate the neck to have it sit on a table. Eventually I would like to get a replacement made for the rear piece of wood. My Daisy is one of the newer more curvy ones. Even with the normal mouthpiece I feel that the rear bottom corner would have been better left square.

@seaofgreens, the screen diameter is 5/8. Not sure about a source though. You'll want fine mesh. I fairly rip the air through my Daisy and even with. The fine screens that come with it, I still get some bits come through. They never get to my mouth though, unless I've just cleaned both wood and glass.

I sure hope Tommy is back on board soon. If his business completely falls through, I'm sure one of us Triihouse lovers will get them made somewhere else and pay a commission to Tommy. Frankly, I'm surprised that the Chinese haven't latched on to these devices and reverse engineered them. I suppose there is only a cult following compared to the main players among portable vapes but the world will catch on in time. I love my Daisy! It is simple genius.

I would love to have Ed make me a Blackwood or Zebrawood Daisy with Tommy's permission.

There are people on that Reddit thread saying Daisy is not a good vaporizer. Some poo poo it because it is torch/flame based and not electric.

Clearly vape noobies with no common vape sense. Daisy is a monster that measures up with the best on the market.

Thanks Tom! I have a tendency after dumping a bowl to blow the rest of the material outward from the screen, to help clear it out. So far, I have lost two screens when I get too comfortable and the screen blows off somewhere I cant find :(

Ordered 100 5/8 screens for a little more than $5 though, so I think I will be square now.

I also want a longer/spare mouthpiece and a spare heat intake at some point. Anyone in FC interested?

Shame to read this. I just bought what I think was the last Daisy in stock at vapefiend. It's great, a marvelous little upgrade from Lily.

Time to pass Lily onto a deserving friend.
Do you have the first or second version of the lily? Why do you consider it an upgrade? Smoother, tastier, bigger hits?

It's got a bigger bowl, and a bigger wider vapor path (stock vs stock) for one thing. Aside from the different angle heat intakes, that is kind of the only difference. Lily easier to hook up to water perhaps with their GonG too

Damn, just as I was starting to let my VAS rest until 2016, this shit reaches my attention...I like my lily so much, I thought over time, all the triihouse creations would make it to my home!

That sucks...now I'm trying to figure out if I should make getting daisy a priority...would hate to see my window of opportunity close like it may have on the peace.

GRRRRR!

It's more that I now have other vapes filling the portable aspect I had Lily for. I've been purely using Lily at home, attached to water. Daisy is now the dedicated home driver, with my glass now dedicated to rosin dabs, grasshopper/okin for other/on the move :-)
