Kinda reminds me of the Thermovape Cera's Loose leaf cart. All ceramic, except it's probably not the fancy zirconia stuff like Thermovape. I wonder how hot the mouthpiece gets after a few hits. Perhaps it would really shine attached to a water piece. I started with the original SS donut cart which didn't last too long but I enjoyed it while it worked. I have not had the chance to try 2.0 or 2.5, but I would like to order both dry herb and the donut controlled by an eleaf whenever it's available.

I prefer not using a water piece with these devices as u can regulate the temps better if u feel how hot the vapor is. I hit the trigger till i feel the dry herb start to combust then come off the power. I have a cloupor dual 18650 box mod for mine set it about 25w.
Also suggest u have 2 atomizers and use them alternately to stop them heating up too much.
Really pleased with the portability of these devices. Keep a spare at work and in my car for convenience.

You guys think the loose leaf attachment is worth getting if I already have a crafty ? I can't imagine it being any better then that...

the crafty looks cool, i just wanted something that was ceramic with no plastic that would fit on a 510 thread..

I agree. The crafty and vaporizers alike are great portable vaporizers that truly vapes the herb. However having a quality 510 threaded vape has been an elusive dream for many I think. Now I won't have to carry a bunch of devices for different things. Plus nothing reassures me more than all ceramic

What kind of box mods are you guys using with the DT 2.5? I've got the iStick TC 40W and I'm not wild about it firing 40W only in TC mode. Any suggestions for a mod which will allow me to set temp and wattage? Maybe something smaller than the mini invader? Thanks!

Does the dry herb attachment give big clouds like the crafty? Then I might be interested as well....

Can u tell me what diameter the bowl is? Is it the same as the 2.5

Just read on your website the tag line is
'the most advanced portable vaporizer in the World.

not sure guys at stork & Bissel would agree but respect for the bold claim:rofl:

the inner ceramic bowl part is 10mm -outer diameter 20mm -length 60mm-
$400 are those portable vapes made of plastic? its hard to tell from there site.

anyone who emails me and mentions Fuck combustion i will send a paypal request for $24 for the DC atomizer, they should be in 10 days i hope. the deal will always be good . I will sell them for $31.99 on my site
feel free to copy and paste this deal to your friends, but they have to mention Fuck Combustion in the email. matt@ineedhemp.com

here is a idea i have for a 510 thread nectar wand(is what i might call it), this is the proto i have now , the metal gets too hot and the end of the rod does not get red hot only the middle does. i use it with a quartz banger and throw some concentrate in it and touch the wand to the wax. it works ok as far as getting hits not that huge though.. i saw someone using these instead of lighters for burning herb ,, i think it might be a good thing to have in the collection to your 510 adapters..

Yay this is a great addition Matt. I hate the taste of Butane when burning herb whenever I do. I too have been using a corded ceramic soldering iron. Portable options for this tool is simply way too expensive. I been waiting for this. Heads up for usage, if you like hash, this will beat any lighter hands down. I haven't tried it with wax though

I live in the UK just wondering if u could mail a dc unit over to me at a reasonable price if I drop u an email. Love to give u some feedback. Did u help to deign this vapour? Good work☺

Iv used a few similar type devices but never had a ceramic one. The large mouthpiece stops the concentration of heat and it's got a wide enough bowl to allow airflow through the herb ( if u don't pack it to tight). 0.6 g is a bit much for one hit imo, so I'd probably loosely fill the bowl. Slightly worried the draw rate through the top exit vents will be a little tight? That way u get more convection than conduction if that makes sense to u

Which leads me to another point....... Have u ever tried to design a convection style dry herb attachment?
Maybe it would have the heating coil on bottom and a shallower and wider bowl on top. Then angled air paths into the bowl to create a vortex of hot air.

I also find a box mod that's not temperature controlled is better.

I can't wait to get my hands on one! I have been waiting for an atomizer like the DC for years. I am mostly just a reader but I had to say thank you @divinetribe for all of your hard work!

I have a Evic VTC mini and will let you know if TC is stable.

I will email you about ordering the DC when the v3 becomes available. Thanks again!

@divinetribe , were you able to eliminate the use of glue in the new DC atomizer and 2.7 donut?
Matt mentioned that the v2.7 uses the same mold as the 2.5. It just uses a different inner cup, so I'd imagine the 2.7 is held together the same way unfortunately. Sounds like the v3 may be a different story. Just my opinion but I am almost sure the 2.7 is held together just as the 2.5, but what about the dc atty. It looks like it's housed the same but hopefully not.

unfortunately yes the high heat glue is there until we get a rebuildable done it is using a high heat glue for the base to connect to the ceramic.. innovation is needed. the DC version 1 is the last atomizer i will produce with the high heat glue all new attys will be rebuilds. I will take all of them to a off gassing lab and getting them tested starting with the v3.

Will there be a rebuildable DC? The v2.7 of the DT donut looks amazing, already put in an order due to the improvements. I think the rebuildable element (and ditching the glue) are the only lacking elements post 2.7, so I'm really excited to see these moving away from disposable and toward safe, serviceable items with staying power (the less I have to pay to throw away, the better!).

Also, is anyone else amped about the Pyrex mouthpieces? I thought that was the one thing missing, since I find the Globe style offer a much better learning curve, with their visual feedback.

Aw. I hear here are some issues that have arisen with the v2.7 ceramic atomizer

@divinetribe Is it the placement of the air holes in the cup that cause the issue? Perhaps the new mouthpiece?

I hope that the v3 is still on track for production, and this is just a minor hiccup on the way to the perfect rebuildable full ceramic setup.

the airflow in the v2.7 was not as strong as the 2.5 . so i am working on the 3 now .. the new splash cap for the v2.5 will be available when the dc comes.
