@vapman out of curiosity will the station come in different colors any time in the future or is the standard blue going to be the only option for now?

@Philreal187 For the next series we are planing to have many different colors, I think a lot of people will like a black or a silvery station. There will also be white, blue, red, green and yellow stations. I think they will all look good with the wood on top and on the bottom.

@vapman have you considered doing an aromatherapy dish for the station?

I know it is not designed to remain heating for extended periods, so i was thinking of something like a vapman without the middle piece but with a bigger more heat retentive cup/bowl which you add the oils/water/beeswax, heat up on max and it retains heat for 10-15 mins of aromatherapy. Reheat as required.

You could heat the dish and then move it to whatever room you wanted the scent in. 1 station, multiple dishes.

Anyway, just a thought, as i really love the aromatherapy feature of my enano. It was a factor in my purchase decision. Great to have aromatherapy before and after a session, and with my patented vapman aromadish, during a session too!

@Vapenvy You are reading my mind! I was just thinking over the weekend exactly about this. Because the station works always with the same temperature, which is much higher than the actual vaporizing temperature, all I would have to make is an adapter holding a dish or screen at a certain distance where the temperature is ideal to vaporize botanical materials.
BTW, the station is made to heat for extended periods, the auto shut off is not a feature to prevent over heating, this feature is because most people forget to turn off the unit after vapeing, including myself. The station can be used endlessly, it only turns off automatically after not being used for more than 5 minutes. 5 minutes would be long enough to vaporize a load of aromatherapeutic materials. I think.

Heat up time is only one minute and there is no problem to turn it on 50 times a day. As mentioned before, the station does not turn off when used, it only shuts off when idling for longer than 5 minutes which is reasonable, I think. A station which is not in use and just sits there heating the surrounding is nothing than a danger to kids and animals.

one year anniversary with my vapman. no regrets at all :)

Cool. A ceremony is out of the question, but how about lapel pins? Say a silver one for each year and when you get to five you swap 'em for a gold pin and start collecting silver ones again, like merit badges in Cub Scouts?

Make it easy for us to spot each other in crowds.......

I would like to share my methode of cleaning a vapman with all of you vapmanonauts, because as is well known, sharing is caring, caring is sharing.;)

This! This is a great post!! It inspired me to clean my Vapman yesterday, and it worked wonders. I used a bi-carb paste instead of toothpaste (it's what I use for brushing my teeth too) and the scorch marks are gone! It looks like new, and I'm in love all over again. :luv:

Thank you!!

Vapman has changed my life, truly. I use it every day.

vapman stands for innovation, integrity, precision, perfect craftmanship and use of high grade materials. if these aren't genuine swiss qualities, what is? :)

I find that disappointing. No doubt political......I bet it's the guys making the gold colored chocolate money?

Let's face it they started going downhill about the time Swatch showed up....... VM can save them.

Received my station today together with a new vapman basic and some spare parts!
First I tried it on 2 with my old classic and had a long, very tasty session. Then I had another session on 3.5 which gave me nice vapor after the 2nd or 3rd hit. The material was even brown.

I lately used my vapman mostly with a D020 for herbs and hash. With the lighter I am able to empty a bowl of herbs in 4-5 hits. With hash the vapman works really well too, maybe I also sometimes accidentally partly combusted at the end…I don't know.

With the station I had nice tasty hits from hash between concentrate screens starting at 5. Then moved to 6 and still got nice tasty vapor. Also tried double heating for 2 times but the clouds never got really thick or dense as I was able to get with the lighter. To the end of this session the vapman got really hot. Never accomplished this with the lighter before.

After these sessions I think the station is a nice way to heat vapman. Maybe the lighter is better for ripping some hash through a bubbler but the station is more relaxing and the flavor stays much longer for me. I also think due to the lighter hits I got compared to the jet-lighter its even more efficient.
Still have to test it for dry hash sessions. Also noticed that leaving the vapman at the heating element for some seconds after the green light turns on has a huge impact to the temp of the bowl. But this is already written in the manual…

Just before I used my new basic for the first time which tastes even better then my much used, but still very tasty classic. Mmhhh love the taste and smell of wood.
:mmmm:

From now on my basic walnut is my main vapman and will only be used with the station. The classic is my vape2go and sometimes used for new temp tests with hash at the station till I figured out if and how it works good for me. But I don’t care if I still have to grab the lighter sometimes for this special use case.

Overall I’m very happy with this nice piece of craftsmanship. Only criticism from my side is that the PSU still has the green standby light and gets lukewarm when the station is off. But this has nothing to do with the station itself.

Thank you for this nice toy René!

I got my station today! Woo hoo!

I actually think I might have gotten my original one back... Hubby had filed the corners on the thingy, and these look identical, with the lop-sided filing on one of them....

Anyway. It works! Woo hoo!

It works BETTER!

More testing......

The sharing and caring in this thread is awesome
Absolutely true. This thread is magic and the users here are especially nice and friendly. But these are only the basic requirements to joint the VM-family. Most of us are furthermore extremely intelligent and incredible beautiful! It's the consequence, nothing more.:science:

Happiness is a clean vapman,..

Gee, I don't know about that. Say, why don't you try it in YOUR Vapman and let us know?

Most of us are furthermore extremely intelligent and incredible beautiful!

Not to mention that most of us dance like Fred Astaire. The rest dance like Ginger. You know what they say, "Ginger Rogers did everything Fred did, only backwards. In high heels.".
