Thanks guys. I will do a little more thinking about the size. Wanted something small but wasn't sure about the efficiency of a grinder this size. Greatfulbuys will get a new customer tonight. :)

Yeah after what Gratefulbuys. com did for me in exchanging mine. They communicated better than any other seller I ever bought from.

Good choice man...

You get about 10x more doing it this way but then I worry I'm empything my herb to much so I'm still sort of on the fence about kiefing my herb.

if you kief it you are left with something that just aint right! sorta like potato skins to fill a desire for real baked potato, sure its ok and it sorta tastes like what you are after but just not quite the same!

I just like to let it build up. I basically assume that that is the stuff I would be losing if I were you touch it with my fingers in the first place or even place on magazine paper. You are bound to lose some, so I try not to touch any of my herb until it's in whatever contraption I'm using. I spoon my ground herb into bowls with a scraper.

Although I'm not really sure what to do with the keif anymore. I don't want to gum up my vaporgenie or magic-flight. any easy ideas? i mixed a little up with some herb, but it ended up leaving a gunk stain in my MFLB.

Anyone know how the V2 Aerospace grinder compares to say the spacecase? I'm looking at buying a new 4pc.

I ended purchasing the aerospace v2 model after I did a lot of reading. This is my 2nd grinder. My first one was an "american grinder" all metal one that I got for free when I purchased my dbv about a year ago. It was a 2.25" model and it sifted kif very well, pretty much all trichomes. I really liked the grinder but the twist action on it wasn't "smooth as glass" so I began my search for another grinder. Really more of a luxury buy considering I had a perfectly good grinder. I pretty much had settled on a large space case or the mendo mulcher, $110 and $60 respectively but had a really hard time ponying up $110 bucks for a grinder.

The aerospaced(but marketed as aerospace a lot as well) description claimed it was as good as space case. I can't tell you if it is. I would probably say no, but this was delivered for $36. It weights 1lb 1.2 oz. It's a hefty piece. This outside finish is very good. Opening the first level and looking into the area with teeth shows a lot of diamond shaped teeth as machined very well. There is also a lot of swirls from the cnc process. The 2nd level reveals a very nice and large cargo area with tight screen. There are some areas that aren't machined to total smoothness on the top edge of the third level(screen level). The kief pan is nice and large and almost 1/2 inch deep. The coupling of each level is smooth. The twist action of the unit is better than my other grinder. It rotates smoothly without any catching and is accompanied with a sound of light friction which sounds more metalic than teflon(the ring) but I wouldn't say it's as smooth as glass. It could be that larger grinders just have different tonal quality than smaller ones. I don't know but it isn't metal on metal at least in the grinder section. I don't see any shedding of aluminum from the grinder.

Overall, I'd say this is a very good grinder. It looks like it was modeled after the Space Case down to the small hump on the underside of the 2nd piece. Fit and finish on the inside is not as nice as it is on the outside of this grinder but the action is smooth and the threads are smooth to turn. If you run your fingers on the threads you will feel that the threads are not 100% smooth. I would imagine the $110 Space Case has the insides finished completely. I haven't grinded any bud in it yet but will report back when I do. I'd imagine it grinds like any other 100% CNC herb grinder. I think it's a good grinder well worth $36 delivered.

Here are some pics of it.

edited to add: I just grinded about 2g of gdp in it. Was a little dry but the grind was nice and even. I didn't turn it upside down. Just put the bud in and turned it. Easily mulched the everything up and fell through.

I was looking for a grinder and, at first, I was looking at the Mendo Mulcher like you. I decided against it after a bit of research and debate. For now, I've just ordered the one you have posted. It looks decent and for $15 shipped (with the VapeWorld discount) I get a 2.5" grinder w/ the little pick vs $55 shipped for the 2.25" Mendo Mulcher (via eBay). Should do just fine, and by the looks of it will surpass the quality of my previous no-name grinder. Maybe one day when I'm more financially stable i'll pony up the big dough for one of the higher priced brands. :peace:

if you don't press your kief, you should have no trouble using kief in the LB. just shake it after each hit. hell. i don't even use my LB unless i sprinkle a scoop or two of kief mixed in. :ko:

so what i think the ideal grinding kit would look like:

1. medium space case 4 piece black grinder (5mm or 6mm holes - i cant remember)
2. scout sc 4 pc grinder (3mm holes)
3. medium sc 2 pc 'black' grinder
4. medium sifter screen (storage for the results of the 2 pc grinder)
5. electric grinder (for making edibles)
6. sc pollen press (optional)

i think if you had this setup you would be covered for any vaping situation. obviously, you could probably replace the space case names with whatever brand you prefer - sharpstone etc, if you wanted to reduce the cost.

would all of this actually be necessary though? i suppose it would depend on the types of vapes you have and how often you use them all...

Does This Space Case Look Legitimant? (Merged)
Hey FC,

Im in the market for a new grinder and thought I might as well go big and get a Space Case. Im thinking about getting the small 2 piece titanium one for my MFLB and Ive been shopping around a lot to find the best deal. With the discount codes on this site, I can get it for $22 shipped on VapeWorld or Puffitup, but just as I was about to order it there, I found a guy on ebay who's selling it for $18 shipped and from my own state. However, Im just wondering if this Ebay guy is selling legitimate Space Cases:

Ive emailed him asking about it, but havent gotten a response yet.

Can anyone tell me if this is worth buying?

Thanks!

If you are getting this for the sole purpose of grinding herb to be used in the mflb, many users here have reported that the 2pc space case still does not get the herb fine enough even after twisting your wrists off.

I have seen many good reports about the mixnball nano, the only negative being it can only grind a few trench worths at once hence the nano in its name. It's only 10.00

Wow that changes everything. I really need something to grind fine enough for the MFLB.

That mix and ball looks great but I was hoping for something around the size of the Space Case small, like 2 " diameter. The 1" diameter of this one seems too small. But IDK.

Relaxin'
You would be happy with that SC for sure man... It's a two piece, you can grind it into powder if you were so inclined. SC are quality grinders, and that's a pretty damn good price too.

Also, I have bought from that seller before with no problems and he has great feedback so I assume it's legit.

Im just worried about it being a model that dosent have a magnet.

I have my doubts this is a real SC. All SC grinders have a magnet, this one does not (unless they recently changed the design). If you are going to spend the coin for a real SC Grateful Buys and Puff-it-Up are good sources.
