Discontinued Pinnacle Pro

Just a suggestion, if you are waiting for a Pnp bullets to arrive wrap your cannabis in cotton in a pinch - it will save on the mess possibly.

When I used this unit I used cotton a lot on top of the load to act as a screen. Then after it had all the oils accumulated then I vaped the cotton in the bullet. I also thought that the cotton would act as an insulator because the unit seemed to get really hot by the mouthpiece. Keeping this unit clean is really important so hot resin doesn't sit on the plastic and weaken it. :)

Why don't you contact VaporBlunt regarding your battery? I'm Curious if they have a solution for that. Hopefully you can send it in for service. The unit will need to be reprogrammed is what I hear. For a while there was no fix for the battery when it expired - then it turns into a throwaway vaporizer.:\

EDIT
At one point theyoyokid1 had been helping folks with PnP issues if you bought your unit through him. He's off eBay.

I had the same problem with the battery, it lastet roughly one bullet:(. So I startet searching for a replacement, found none but this interesting topic. I know about the problem that the vaporizer must be reprogrammed if you take the Battery out but since I had nothing to loose and decent solering skills I gave it a try. I brougt some unprotectet flat top 2500mAh, 20A constant drain cells, removed the little circuitboard from the original pinnacle battery (it was spotwelded) and solderd it to the new cell. Put some insulating tape around it and let me tell you, it works a treat:D! I´m getting 4-5 bullets out of one charge now! And no worries it reaches all the temp. settings just fine ( testet it with little multimeter thermometer).

Hope I could help you

PS.: I´m from Germany :)

Hello all,

Long time no talk. I'm very proud to see all of the happy users that still rep our stuff! I don't have much to do with making vapes nowadays, it was too difficult to compete with China and turn a profit, but Others continue to carry on the products we invented. As I reflect I think about what an amazing design PN pro was. It is easily the most copied design I've ever seen. G pro snoop dogg, wolf mod..... There were at least 6 pnknockoffs at the show last month.

I won't be making new vapes most likely. I've taken my talents elsewhere lol. The yoyokid is still providing excellent service so keep on dealing with him! I enjoyed building this company, sad the way it ended but what can u do. I hope the vapor blunt team continues to push out cool shit.

Thank you very much to everyone who gave me feedback over the years. Both positive and negative, it really helped

@TherealVaporblunt ! At least you're still alive!
I see your site is still up.
Are VB products still available?
If so, is there any Black Friday sales planned? or only through The Yoyokid?
I've bigged up your product and the BF sale so much people (including myself) are still waiting.

Same experience as the rest, a battery replacement didn't upset calibration. I tried to keep it plugged while the battery was disconnected but the charger plug slipped out and it lost power. Replaced the battery with a Samsung 25r, works great, 4-5 sessions. Could be placebo but it seems to heat up faster than when it was new. Don't be afraid to change the battery, it makes this vape like new again.

Almost forgot, if you're replacing the battery, get 18650 battery wrap. I tried to use regular heatshrink over the battery and protector pcb and it was too think to fit. Even with just electical tape it was a tight fit back in the housing. The stock battery wrap is a much easier fit

Hoping someone can chime in here.

So I went to use my pro with the water tool and when I put the tool on the pro, water leaked out of the tool and into the pro. Been doing this exact same thing for almost 2 years now and never had a problem. So the pro isn't heating up now and when you turn it on there is a little red light behind the 5 light bars.

Can this be fixed? Or am I screwed?

Thanks.

Hopefully you haven't shorted anything yet.

Your last hope might be putting the PNP in a bag or container full of uncooked grains of rice.

This will help draw out the moisture from inside the PNP.

Leave it overnight to play it safe.

Best of luck!

Doing it now. Thank you.

Administrators: Sorry for the double post.

@vapor33, if you do end up getting the PNP up and running, i'd strongly suggest you getting the following u adapter:

ogb_18_8mm_female_-_18_8mm_female_glass_fitting_made_in_oregon_usa_18_eca60e0e_17373.jpg

I was never comfortable with having my vapes below a water source.

This "U" female to male 14mm adapter would ensure that the PNP and the Water tool are at the same level so water can't drop into the PNP.

I use my pnp with my bubbler, with ice only. I find that water catches way too much of the psychoactive delicious resins.

I'll only use a bubbler with ice so the vapor only passes by the ice and gets cooled down.

I am having trouble finding that u adapter on oregonglassblower's website. Would you mind posting a link to it please? Looks like a great glass accessory to have.

@Gonzo, you're right.

I can't find it on OGB's site either.

It might have been a custom piece, made to order.

If you are planning on using it for with the VB water tool and PNP, please measure center to center to ensure that there is enough clearance to allow the "U" adapter to fit both pieces.

I don't own a VB watertool so I can't measure it the distance.

Peace!

Can you guys recommend something similar to the PNP? Assuming my PNP is dead, I'm gonna have to get something new but I don't want anything from vaporblunt because their support is non existent. Looking for a product from a company that will actually get back to you when you contact them.

Thanks.

I picked up the haze to replace my pnp and its a very nice alternative and out standing customer service!!! I also have the storm from vape fiend and its pretty much an upgraded pnp for a cheaper price. I haven't tried it but the arizer air also seems like a nice fit.
