To me the ufo is a wide open type draw..nice big can..no restriction to me..i do prefer the ufo over the fc mod but both are nice functional pieces but im thinking about goving the ufo v2 a chance..
yeah, Yingmin5's GB-187 is very low draw. Quality better than Steven's IMHO. Try it out.

I bought the original FC-187 because Yingmin5's was taking too long and I wanted it. I ended up getting a broken one and then an iffy one as a replacement. If I were ordering it now I would definitely get the GB over the FC.
That being said, if I were ordering the UFO I would get it from Steven rather than an unknown vendor...

Good to know there is an alternative. My UFO from Steven wasn't perfect either. Does this vendor use the heavy glass that Steven uses too? I can't help but wonder if Steven sold off his V.1 stock when he started making V.2...

I think he thought you were asking about the 710whip which is what is linked. It is an enail deceive for concentrates. You would still need a water piece to use it through.

I haven't used the FC-710 but a lot of people like it.

how is this different than an enail (for instance that gimido enail box)

@DrSteez

You mentioned that you didn't yet have the $ for an enail and weren't very excited about using a torch.
The "710 Whip" is an all included, economical analog enail setup.
I have not used it, but some threads here seem to indicate that it's a good bang for the buck.

How to:

Personally, I've found that's it's cheaper to buy what you want in the first place.
So if the 710 whip is not your end game for an enail, I would save up for what you really want.

But if you can find one for $100 on a BF sale that might not be too bad either ...
If i want to go the enail route, you are saying its best just to buy the full enail setup? Is this 710 whip like a cheap version of an enail? I apologize, I am just getting into enails now, so i dont know much about it. I want to buy one and not have to worry about it ever again.

I heard back from cleanclearglass and sunshinestore- both were interested in the designs, so I've forwarded all information on the Rattle Can, Coil Can, and Cobra Can (formerly DP-UFO). I also asked them produce the FC-MOD, as @Ratchett suggested.

Even if work starts on one or more of these pieces today, I wouldn't expect anything to be available for at least a month, and probably longer.

fantastic news!! I might still buy the fc710 right now so i can use it during christmas. I have no piece at the moment :(

:)

For home concentrate use, Enail + Liger (Ti Quartz/Sic Combo) I have a good enail with an Omron PiD and a Liger Ti banger with quartz insert. The Liger is the best thing on the planet for concentrates IMHO! Tell Josh I sent you from FC and he will give you 10% off too. I'll also post the enail I bought, you can find it on DHgate for $230 or so and Gimodo has a good Omron PiD version as well. I would get a Liger no matter what enail I bought though! I use much less wax/shatter than I used to and get much bigger , more flavorful hits than my old HE Ti nail.

If that's the case then buy an Errlectric Enail.

wow! those are expensive.

Im only going to be using it for maybe 5-6 months. Any cheaper alternative?

so you basically drop the quartz into the liger? and then wrap enail coil around the liger?

The FC-710 is very stable due to the amount of water in it. One of the few pieces I have that I don't need to point the e-nail coil in a certain direction to prevent tipping.

Yes, there are $100 enails that will heat the coil. And if you purchase high end concentrates as often as I do your nail cost is a drop in the bucket compared to 6 months of buying dispensary grade shatter and wax.

And yes, coil locks onto the bucket. And the quartz/SiC insert goes inside that. After that you cap it to get the ultimate pure convection low temp dabbing.

ahh i see! thanks for adding the pictures! really appreciate it.

yea, I can see how buying a gram or so at 50-60/g can add up very fast. (dispensary i frequent has good quality live resin for 50-60/g)

However, I just dont see it feasible to spend upwards of 300+ for enail. especially since im not going to be using it for longer than 5 or 6 months. Maybe in the future.

i've seen a few enails (gimido) for 100-200$; are they worth it? good product?

I like this item Diehard. The insert goes into top of your ti nail and your off and running.
quartz-halo.jpg

The Dnail insert is for flat coils and runs for $100. Errlectric Quartz insert with special fork handling tool is $75. Do you think the Errlectric insert would fit most nails or is this something that will only work with their ti nails?

I have that insert and it works great. I'm not sure about fitting other nails though. I also have their FQN Full Quartz Nail. That is my fave.

The 710whip is an analog enail check out domeless.com for more info. You don't have precise temp control just a dial to turn it up or down. . The 710 whip works great and replacement parts are cheap. I picked mine up for $100 during the 710 sale if I had to pay the msrp of $150 I would of probably just got an auburn or greenlight enail set up

DieHard, does anyone sell a quartz insert I could use on a ti nail like the Errlectic one ? Something universal not just geared for on style ti nail.

I haven't heard anything more from Steven regarding his progress on the Rattle Can batch, or the large order he recieved that's been holding it up. The batch was already half finished, so it will be completed and listed sooner or later.

Sunshinestore works very fast, and they are currently putting together their first batch of Rattle Cans. I don't know when they'll be ready, but it shouldn't be too long.

Cleanclearglass have all three designs, and all I've heard is they've arranged to make them. I don't know which designs they're working on, or when we can expect to see something available.
