Man!!! I'm certainly an ataxian fan!! The GSC x N.Lights that is going to be ready in about 8ish weeks is already covered in Trichomes.

I think i want YOU to give her a name! I don't think I know anyone else that love GSC so much.

The only thing I don't love about GSC, is she does not yield big huge Colas, rather extremely dense golf balls. She is a bit stingy, but I believe this could be why it is so good, all her energy goes into those dense nugs of epic proportions.

I usually scoff at providers that charge extra money for certain strains, but with GSC, the extra cost is justified by its extraordinary powers.

I think the Solo really takes GSC to new Horizons.

I love Hitchens!!

It was "God is Not Great " (I think that is the title??) that really grabbed my attention.

I relate to his perspective in so many facets, I was agreeing with his written word as I read it.

SOOO many profound quotes, I am surprised he is not more popular in our demographic. I NEED to read more of his stuff though , most of my readings are quotes of his.

Perhaps he is in my top 3-5 Authors, as I don't really read much fiction..

Classic; Aldous Huxley.....

Modern; Neil deGRASSe Tyson.

I find myself lost in so many of his writing, but watching/Listening to him is captivating.

KANDY KUSH in the Solo and some Snow Jelly Bubble is in the middle of the party!

Oh.. I actually like the slight spin that my bent stem performs , I go with the spin, sort of moving the Solo like a pendulum as I'm drawing.

The Vapor this device provides with Bubble is almost unbelievable...

I said "Whoa!" And "Damnnn!" and "Wha????!" Many o' times after the exhale .

Neil is awesome!
Lawrence Klaus, Dawkins
Steven Pinker is a very good read.

Lots of science & History as well as Astro physics.

In Hawaii we threw seeds from Humboldt (PURPLE Big Bud x MAUI WOWIE) on the GROUND along the mountains (April)
Come back beginning of OCTOBER and harvest!

No fertilizers just let nature do her thing!

I smoked from Sun-up to Sun-down and it was free!

If only SOLO'S were available?

Some of the worker's used BONG's.

I was a Zig-Zags man!

The waves were pure and the 70's was cool!

1975 The movie HOLY GRAIL with John Clease makes me laugh even today!

The cast in that movie had to be medicated!
I have GSC seeds I'll plant in the outdoors.
I like large COLAS for my SOLO!

GSC x Northern Lights = "BRIGHT SKIRT", it might taste unreal?

My first indoor grow was NLS

Well its been one year since I jumped on team solo, and I must say, its changed the way I medicate and I'm so much better fot it.

I haven't combusted in over a year, my medicine lasts me twice as long. I waste nothing now when I use my stem and AVB to make edibles.

My favorite thing though about the solo. Flavor profiles. The way you taste the different strains is incredible when your not combusting. To me it makes the experience that much better.

I'm so glad I made the right choice to Fuck Combustion with the Arizer Solo.

The other night I was aching a lot the arthritis was really at a 7. I used some Epsom salts and used my Solo to medicate while soaking in a warm bath. I needed to be careful not to drop the Solo after I felt more relaxed towards the end of my bath ha ha. :lol:Some heavy indica was in order - Kryptonite.:brow: I felt better then was able to sleep.

Just broke my only gong on the bathroom floor.

Hmm..Does PV have 14mm shorties without the slits for increased airflow ? (since I have one of the newer solos and don't need it)

Or any place else I can get this ?

Go through Puffitup if you are in the U.S you should get it fairly quick. The small mouthpiece with the plastic tip fits a 14mm water tool for the Air it should fit the Solo.

Edit
PIU has the 14mm GonG also when I checked the site. It doesn't have the slits like you wanted. I don't have one personally. My GonGs are from PV and I have some WonGs from @Ed's TnT

Everyone needs at least one wooden piece from Ed. Visit his page on FC under vaporizing accessories.

I'm thinking of a safety line. Something with a big suction cup on one end and a harness for Solo on the other. You'd stick it to the ceiling and adjust the length to keep it out of the water. Maybe a little bungie cord so you could reach up, grab it and pull it down for the hit, then let it go.......

Perhaps some water wings or something like a mini Mae West would work outdoors, like at the beach or around the pool. The one for Ataxian would need a flashing light and location 'pinger' of course, maybe something from airplane 'black box' technology? Kind of a vape EPERB........

Probably should have a cell phone app too?

A wooden mouthpiece helps out in the situations where you are worried that you may break your stem. I have a Blackwood 18mm 3 inch WonG that can be used as a mouthpiece. I have the Blackwood with the turquoise inlay, the Cocobolo (not sure of the spelling) i have also.

No worries with wood. I do like the glass mouthpiece - most of the time it's glass. It's nice to switch thing around too. The wood has that earthy taste in the beginning. Then it takes on the taste of your cannabis.

Whichever way you like to use your Solo is the right way.

Just unwrapped my Solo and I have a question does the stem reach the bottom of the heater like the bowl does?

Yes, if I understand the question. In use the glass sits on the stainless steel of the cup. It can be temperamental at first, until it breaks in some, so only insert and remove when warm at the start.

Also, the outside of the stem tends to 'hang up' on the seal sometimes, again no big deal and pretty much 'self correcting'.

In practice most of us vape with the stem tipped in fact. This raises the rim off the metal and lets air in. Fiddle with it, you'll figure it out.

And then there's the PVHES, which has notches in the rim to do the tilt automatically (or at least the function). And Ed's stems, a different thing again. But that's for later, for now get it warm, turn it upside down so the herb doesn't side with gravity and go where you don't want it, and insert the stem until it comes up flush with the bottom of the cup. Or, being upside down, would that be the top of the cup? Or is it even a cup if it has no bottom and can't hold stuff?

Let's ask Ataxian, he'll know.

Enjoy it. Oh, yeah, be sure to turn it back over before hitting it.......unless you're doin' it Hamster Style of course.

I'm going to my garden to medicate not fumigate!

@OF is the Professor of SOLO-ING

I'm just a consumer and am not worthy to even comment on the SOLO as he does!

I have an old SOLO and have a 113 seal under my cap and PHVES GonG's and stems.

I should get the new one however the one I have is fine.

You will figure out what works for you!

There is no wrong way!
Just a way!

Besides CANNABIS is the "HOLY GRAIL"!

I never noticed that I tilt my stem. Right from the get go I've always held the solo in my hand with my pointer finger hooked around the stem. I did this because one of the first times I used it the stem stuck to my lip and I pulled it out.

I don't use a rubber o ring in my solo. I like that the stem slips in and out easily. I use it inverted most of the time and pick it up by the adapter when I'm clearing my water tool.

There is a video on YouTube that shows how to make the seal tight again with out an o ring. You just unscrew the top and rub the top of the Teflon ring with the back of a spoon and it should be good to go.

As a medical patient don't take my advice!

Listen to @Nugg He'll provide better advice!

Yep, I think it was our own CK that first pointed that out? She suggested that you do it sub consciously as a result of looking for the draw you want. Good observation, IMO, I too was doing it more than I thought I was. I went from PVHES back to stock after that.

Someone used to suggest doing something similar using a film can IIRC. That technique also included doing it when it was hot (and the seal soft). It's only a temporary fix, the seal is intended to be a bit loose and seems to me to adjust to the stem sometimes?

Part of the fun of Solo I guess.

Wow I really should have researched the solo more, one of the reasons I skipped it was the lack of passthrough charging.

I found that with this feature, and the powerful battery in the Solo, it's almost adequate for a heavy-ish user as their only vaporizer.
So now that I got my other portable back, and got a desktop too,
I hardly ever need to charge my Solo (compared to when it was my only vape), and I only use passthrough now if I'm mobile with car charger and the battery goes low.
Still handy alright.
You should be similar if you use other vapes too.

Too bad you missed it if that was that important to you. Solo is worth trying no matter IMO.

I also sincerely consider 'use while charging' to be a bad idea. Pretty much the worst thing you can do to the battery in fact. The charger just doesn't have enough power to run the Solo. About half. So the battery has to make up the rest (you can't do a session with a dead battery, you need something like 15 minutes charge before you start heating). This means the battery charges for 10 seconds or so, then discharges for 10 when the heater cycles on again. Only to charge and discharge until the session ends, making the battery hotter than it needs to be if nothing else.

The PA idea is much more sound from an engineering POV. Arizer went to a lot of extra trouble to design it in for good reason, but 'the customer is always right' as they say.

I do not recommend using 'use while charging' nor leaving it 'plugged in to the charger so it's always charged and ready to go'. Use it or charge it (but not at the same time).

I am more practical. (so I think?)

I have a old SOLO with no pass through.

With my GIZMO from @OF and the stand from @Pipes it will last even longer.

I will down size my ridiculous collection however I will keep my SOLO!

In the garden the SOLO is always ready to medicate correctly!

Excuse me I need to go to my garden!

I sold some SOLOs one had the PA ability. Never used it as i had a spare SOLO and air. Same with pass-through charging, i don't need it i don't want it and ill never use it. However a useful feature to some (and don't mind reducing battery life). The message here is have a backup vape and you'll have no worries.
Love vaping in the garden.... if only we had the weather like California and a pool like ataxian

I had 3 SOLO at one time?

I only needed one?

California has weird weather it's summer everyday?

Growing indoors is lame not to mention expensive?

The only good thing is tall thin women and it's easy growing things! (outdoors)

California Livin OG works well in a SOLO.
