Celebrity strains are pretty fun to medicate with.

Snoop Doggy Purple Kush is one to look for. (love it)

Willie Nelson has a strain he's developing. (should be good)

I'm a huuuuuuge fan of Tahoe-OG right now!! Super heavy and full body classic indica effects that are perfect for nighttime usage or a rainy day that you don't have too get much done. Also, it has an almost sativa'esque euphoric effect that is very funky and psychoactive but won't keep you up at night. Vibrant and earthy notes on the palate with a hint of lemon citrus ayyyy :)

Your description of TAHOE OG is well written.
I have many I love however for me a strong INDICA that puts me out like the 80's is:

GRANDDADDY PURPLE (GDP) simple however very effective.

TAHOE OG has some Sativa whereas GDP is more PURE.

I think dispensaries have mislabeled many strains!

If you like TAHOE OG you will love GIRL SCOUT COOKIES (GSC)

Thanks. I won't bother with Tahoe OG if there are other options next time I'm low on Indica. Sunset Sherbet, Animal Cookies and Cookies Kush have all been quite satisfactory recently. Especially Animal Cookies; that stuff was gone almost as soon as the dispensary got it. I didn't like Monster Cookies (GSC x GDP) near as much as other related strains. :shrug:

GDP is grape flavored sleep potion.
PARIS OG is more like CHANNEL Number 5 nice effect.

GDP is a knockout punch to the face!

Anyone tried Ewok? I got some of this a couple of months back, the stuff is so strong I have to really be careful when I vape it. It's near instant couchlock and very sleepy meds. I haven't looked in the scope yet but I suspect amber trichs is the main culprit but damn, this is a strong indica and heavily recommended for those in need of solid sleep.

I have only been a medical cannabis patient for a little over six months. I have tried many Sativa and Indica strains. Below are my favorite Indicas. I can only use the Kush and OG strains if I do not have a set time to wake up. They are heavy and I wake up with a foggy head. I use a CBD or a sativa like Durban Poison or Ghost Train Haze to clear my head. Combining Blueberry Cookies and Blue Lightning is exquisite.


Light – any time and are great for very early morning wake ups

Medium – okay for most nights

Heavy - I use these only when I can sleep as long as I want

My preferred collective always has some wonderful purple God Bud. Great stuff.

Someone mentioned Kosher Kush as well. I've had some very exceptional examples of that one, too.

Thanks for info, I'm a bit disappointed by my GSC, taste is very smooth,light and subtle(although it needs to cure a bit more) and it's definitly not very strong(it was my first GSC try, outdoors)!

Is the Lavender an Indica (I think yes...)? I get a very strong and tasty lavender x lavender (?!?), it was a test line and it is discontinued now(outdoors). When enough moist taste is incredible aromatic, very spicy with something like alcohol/chemicals remains, first hits are very, very powerfull (even without visible vapor) and taste/medication is so intense sometimes my stomach refuse it (more when I'm too medicated, maybe my body refuses the added medication!). The shatter it produces is the tastier of my stash...but lost some of it's specific effects.

I tried a Northern light x Skunk too but was a bit disappointed cause lot of molds issues (very dense buds, i lost 20-25%)) and the lack of taste. Effects are decent.

I tried Night Terror OG last night for the first time, it was fantastic! I've been using what seem to be pretty balanced hybrids or strong sativas, needed something to relax better with and, especially, induce sleep, this was excellent!

Yes I'm always trying out new strains even though I have my standby favorites I pick up too. I like to have a little of several different strains. I just picked up some Purple Urkle today. I had never tried it before, it's similar to GrapeApe in taste and strength - wonderful flavor - Essenes of grape.

It's a heavy Indica that helps with sleep and pain. It's a combination of some of my favorites like Mendocino Purple, Granddaddy Purple.

Much like with food and music, while I know my good ol' standbys I always want to try new stuff!

second sesh with the Night Terror OG and I passed out on my couch and knocked over a bottle of BBQ sauce all over my carpet :(

Same here. Always reading about and and looking for new strains to help me sleep. I've found that the combination of ABV brownies and a strong indica strain yields about 4 hrs of sleep. Otherwise I'm waking up every 2 hours or so to pee.

Normally I go with Sativas since it makes it easier for me to multitask and be functional in general, but when going with Indicas for relaxation Northern Lights is my go to.

I find a small amount of GSC is good for during the day. There is a little bit of a "lift" that I have not found in many Indicas. It also helps in giving a better "insight" into your surroundings.

Now....at night GDP is preferred. This is the stress reliever that ended my migraines. The " narcotic" undertones are what I enjoy.....very close to the "nod" effect....if you know what I mean.
Very nice precursor to sleep.

I picked up some LA Confidential this past weekend......
It is a full indica and most definitely a nighttime strain!
Some other good ones that I rely on regularly are:

You may want to try Absolute Xtracts' Blackberry Kush concentrate cartridge. The BK cartridge is approximately 70% THC and is my go to when I can sleep as long as I want and the next day is a pajama day.

What do all of you think of shatter and crumble from Indica strains?
I like some of the Moxie "Live Resin" shatters. Different buzz.....way more cerebral.
I am now trying some Diablo OG crumble......very
"deep" feeling.
