I had to lower mine to around 65 as well. 70 was just a touch too much. I love the fact that I can make a bowl out of almost any two adapters and an ELB.

The infinity and the hopper have larger heater diameters, compared to logs. To me these two have more in common with a zion than the underdog and hi logs I've used. I'm just speculating from what I've read on the zion and gh of course, but I hope to be intimately familiar with them at some point in my life.

Now that you have a GrassHopper how would you update your impressions? Can you compare your new toy to the Infinity?

They are both powerhouse one-hitters but obviously quite different. The gh will keep up though, even milking through glass which is quite an accomplishment. The infinity is still the champ but it's really apples and oranges. I wouldn't say that the gh is quite an infinity in a can but it's close! My experience with @DDave's ssv mod makes me want to make the infinity more efficient with a smaller screen setup.

I think this February I will have had my Infinity for 2 years. The way this journey started I think many would be surprised by that. It doesn't make me want any other plug ins, but I do love my Triihouse vapes just as much (Daisy is the only other thing I've found that hits as hard as my Infinity).

Thinking the unthinkable, the day this thing fails, I break it, or it just needs to be replaced. What would you guys go to for taking it's place?

If it happened to me tomorrow, I think I'd go for either a Zion, eNano, LSV or MiniVap, but I worry none of them would scratch that itch the way my Infinity does, but who knows maybe I'd like one of those even better?

It was a bad weekend for my two daily use vapes. First, my Crafty power button failed, rendering the device completely useless after only 44 days of use. I am now waiting on S&B to send me the shipping label. This will be my 5th replacement Crafty. I then starting using my Versa Infinity with the bowl and cloud buddy adapter. I was also well medicated at this point, when I lifted the Versa and forgot to hold the bowl onto the Cloud buddy, the glass bowl and cloud buddy went crashing onto my bar. Luckily, the cloud buddy only suffered a crack that hasn't affected use at all, but my only Versa glass bowl was in pieces :ugh: I ordered 3 replacements that were mentioned a few pages back and hope to be using the Infinity again soon. Does anyone know if these are 18 mm or 14mm?

I think this too often, especially when I see that crack when I'm using it, it always seems to be getting bigger.

I'm planning for a VAP3 to replace my Infinity (still working), my Firewood is actually my current replacement and the Mist is looking to be a great contender that will surpass the Firewood and Infinity.

The grassHopper's are nice and milk really well as they do indeed keep up. Unfortunately they just don't get me that far with little herb (temperature limits), I normally have a session that is too long.

The Firewood for me seems to be a better replacement for the Infinity when at home and with a water pipe I have a whole lot more control with the capsule and screen placement.

I have been using the MistVape more often than the FW/Versa/gH/UD when at home because it can really deliver and definitely gives me that feeling that the Infinity does with a quicker heatup and less space. Right now my prototype appears to be falling apart and the only downside was that the heater wasn't centered on that design. I'm sure appearance will change for the better when he perfects the final heater design but from my standpoint its 90% there. I'm hoping other FC members get the new design so I'm not the only one with positive feelings about it.

Currently a prototype, here's the thread.

It's hard to explain since I'm unsure of its final form but right now it seems to be aiming for convection, the battery life from my test is pretty good, its variable voltage and can be ran off of wall wort like the UD. Has a heatup time of about 5-25 seconds. But the video shows a bit, unfortunately I didn't get to high temps in it. Almost at the end.

I'm not sure if I would buy the Infinity over another desktop vape; (as committing to spending that sort of money is always a big decision) but if i was going to buy a new desktop vape I would include the Infinity in my list of vapes to research before committing. I really like the fact that it is all made of glass. Futuristic, clean and posh. Super sexy. And really versatile. Maybe a bit to versatile for a mod virgin such as myself. But a very attractive vape. Definitely going to keep an eye on this.
