If you can find a vape that delivers Evo quality vapor for £60, you should return your Evo and buy that immediately.

Also pass the word on to us because I want one.

You missed my point completely mate. I'm not saying there are vaporisers I'd be aware of that deliver the same quality of vape for £60. I said that it's retail price would probably be around £60 if it was a mass product intended to be manufactured and sold in hundreds of thousands.

For illustration sake let's compare it with a smartphone. EVO costs roughly the same as OnePlus Two which I just bough for my key employees for Christmas. If we can trust Google to manufacture an iPhone 6 costs $215. There are about 25 components in a smartphone some of which are truly high-tech made from high grade materials and precious metals. What's so high-tech can be in a vaporiser? Nothing I'd think of apart from a heating chamber. My quick rough estimate is that production of a single EVO costs around $30, $40 tops. To develop a vaporiser is not a rocket science too. Not that recourse consuming baring in mind that it's not a first vaporiser ever invented. I could give this unit to my technicians to take apart and I'm pretty sure they would confirm that my estimate is not far from being accurate. Of course to make a profit in a niche market you must have very high margins and I admire Vapexhale guys for being bold and smart. But If we talk about the aesthetics of this product there are miles of space for improvement and I'm sure they must be working on this .

@Mangos , @HellsWindStaff , thanks for the words of encouragement. I was lucky today to locate some decent looking and smelling Blue Cheese. I'll finish cooking myself diner in half an hour and gonna take this boy for a spin. Let's see what he is capable of.

@LegaliseIt I'm sorry but I estimate your estimates for production costs are way off.

You're comparing huge companies with massive fabrication plants to a small startup who not so long ago were using crowdfunding.

I could debate some more, but I can't be bothered, I'm too high from using my EVO lol :science:

Put a dress (sleeve) on her and take her for a spin tonight and see where you get. :brow:

Let us know how it goes when you try it, sure your worries will be put at ease once you see what it's capable of.

It most certainly should! I'm currently using my Arizer Air, and I can make a quarter last about a month and a half compared to a week or less when I combusting!

I'm no expert, and from everything I've seen on my end and personally dealt with Vapexhale is a top-notch company. They made an awesome vaporizer, and I was in love with mine until the day I finally put too much stress/torque on the upper male joint, at which point, it stopped functioning fully. I have been seriously considering buying one of the new packages they're offering.

But doesn't it seem like a LOT more people have been having issues with their cloud evos recently? Units that were essentially DOA, poor packaging, a SideTree that was clearly (IMO) blemished followed by a series of strange communications with customer service...

I guess the new glass line could be the reason, or maybe a new vaporizer that's coming out. But they're clearly trying to push a LOT of units VERY fast. Otherwise, the sale schedule makes no sense. They've offered remarkable deals on both Veteran's day, thanksgiving, AND cyber weekend? Huh?

I hope that it's just bad luck for people posting here and there's nothing wrong with the company. At the very least, they must have something new coming down the pipeline. It was only about 4 months ago that the survey with voting on what type of vape they should make next came out. My guess is that their new glass line is going to come along with a surprise new vape, most likely the cordless desktop that was an option in said survey. But people should not be getting screwed over for that reason, and I hope that isn't the case.

I so really want to believe this. So far I'm not seeing it with any of my vapes. I actually believe I go through less combusting still. :( A quarter would last me a month combusting and nearly 2 weeks when vaporizing. Sure it could be a combination of things, tolerance, frequency and other factors but I'm just not seeing it yet.

I'm not arguing the fact that it's supposed to save us money on herb, I just wish I was seeing it.

The only time I've seen my usage increase since i started vaping, is when my vaporizer wasn't giving me the desired effects. A better vaporizer fixed that

I found, that it has (for me) alot to do with being able to medicate and not reek of combustion. (Basically getting away with being medicated more frequently.)
I realize this more during the holidays. Also found, I love vaporization. The whole process-were enthusiasts we tend to go a little harder.

I dealt with that when I first got my Magic Flight ( My first vape) and even with my Herbaliser. With my air I only load a .1 or.2 into my gong and I can get two maybe even three sessions depending on potency so that really helps out lol.

Ok the test results of my new EVO are in. As I already said I had some proper Blue Cheese. Fired up two loads of 0.15g . After the first load I got definitely higher than if I would have with my Arizer Air or MFB. The second load put me just into the very pleasant state of high. I think I must say that I kept the temp settings on around 1 o'clock. Would not say that I had very huge clouds of vape but defo bigger than I'm able to achieve with Air. Of course If I had any higher capacity water tool the experience would be different because of bigger cooler rips. I found the rips trough dry glass too dry and too harsh for my throat.

The taste? Don't think I'm qualified to comment on this as I never find the taste of weed that enjoyable. Probably I just don't like the taste and smell of cannabis that much. When I see guys on videos tasting different strains, smacking their lips and commenting on slight hints of berries, lemon, earth, diesel etc I wonder if they are faking or not, because all I taste regardless of the strain is a taste of weed. That's it.

Now about the unit itself. I need your comments here. I find mine just too hot near the top. Too hot to hold in my hands. There is no way I could keep it in to my hands near the top. Even around the middle of the unit the temperature is just beyond what I could call comfortable. I was holding EVO by the glass tube with one hand and the very bottom of the base with another. Any accidental touch to the top was OUCH... I've red that some of you keep your EVOs on almost all the time. I would't dare to keep mine on between sessions simply because of fear that it may catch fire. Do they suppose to be that way? Does anyone have a unit that is just to hot to handle without the sleeve?

This is a first for me, never heard someone spend this amount of money on a vape and not enjoy the smell or taste of weed. I would personally hate that and just not do it if I didn't enjoy :2c:

And yes. It's supposed to get very hot at the top.

Don't know why you find this strange. Most people don't like the taste of vodka, but enjoy being drunk. I'm non smoker and I hate the taste of burned cannabis in my mouth. For instance I love the effect of a good bong rip but very often that taste of this thick almost tangible smoke in my mouth afterwards ruins the experience. It would be correct to say that I prefer vaping to smoking mainly because vaping is less smelly business. If someone came up with an odourless but potent strain It would probably be my favourite :).

I don't like the taste of alcohol. So I don't drink it.

There are certain strains I dislike the taste of (pinene rich OGs don't taste amazing to me and I'm not a massive fan of cheese) but how someone can say they all taste the same is crazy to me. I have some tangie there (Myrcene rich) that is incomparible to the S.A.G.E (pinene rich) next to it in terms of flavour. One tastes like licking a tree, the other an orange laced with weed :2c:

Could it be the material you are using? Or maybe the temperature you are vaping at?

Try turning your EVO down to maybe 10ish if you haven't already, might make it even more tolerable for you in terms of flavour

Sorry if any of that sounds negative, just trying to eliminate user error as I too hated the taste of smoke. Vapour is a different beast though, and I feel once you tame it can get what you are looking for...which seems to be flavour in your case. And trust me, cannabis has a plethora of different terpene profiles just waiting to be sampled

Whenever I'm around friends who light up (they do also vape), I suddenly go what the hell smells so uniquely terrible, to see its just them smoking a bong :puke: vaporizing at low temps is mouthwateringly delicious though, upper temps however, especially in a conduction constant cooker vape can end up tasting really awful too, but great at first.

Finally broke my EVO out of holiday lockdown! Such a warm, happy reunion, LOL. If anyone remembers me posting earlier about my EVO plug being very sensitive/loose, unfortunately the issue still persists. And there's no extra room to push it in deeper, I'm afraid :c. It's a bit of a bummer, but not enough to be a deal breaker.

To contribute to the conversation at hand, I used to really dislike the way weed smelled/tasted when I was only a "social" smoker. Back then I was mostly just hitting my friend's bong and occasionally his MFLB, so perhaps the taste of combustion had something to do with it. I will say now that I really enjoy the smell and taste of weed when I vaporize, and I'm starting to be able to appreciate the differences between the strains. The teeny hit I just took from my EVO was perfectly sweet and flavorful! Love it all to bits.

yeah my aromed 4.0 was decent once i sealed the bowl to the lamp part it would produce thick enough vapor with zero technique but that ended up ruin the electronic above the herb & covering the 1 inch screen with herb compared to the little snaps i was taking out of my bucket bong the efficiency sucked.

as far as buds i just recently have gotten access to something that i can tell the difference before i would get it from the same guy and it all seem pretty much the same strain horribly dried/cured then i got my doc rec renewed and i went somewhere in L.A and all the strains had the same kinda dutch hydro formula taste final I have been getting no till organic tested by steep hill & hopefully cured/dryed properly i can finally tell the difference between strains

im hoping the evo = aromed 4.0(taste,ease of use, extraction) + Lotus (hard hitting effect, speed, conservative ness)
