Recommend me a 2nd vape - a Mighty with "cable"

smokingjoe

All hail the (mighty) vapor
Hello FC,

Two months ago a decided to try out a vaporizer. I bought the mighty and after two months now i dont smoke anymore and i switched to vaping completely.

I am 95% satisfied with the mighty but since i am a heavy user i really want a 2nd vape. A desktop vape which i dont have to recharge. Price doesnt matter too much.

I looked at many vapes but i cant find the "perfect one" for me and i hope that FC might help me :)

Things i DO want from my second vape:
- No Batteries -> Desktop unit
- "a mighty with cable" would be perfect
- High efficiency
- easy cleaning (like the mighty)
- ideally (not required) a unit where i can puff over a longer time with one load. (i heard the Alfa vape does that)
- Quality (vapor,unit,service etc)
- easy to use

Things i DONT want.
- vapor-bags (not 100% sure about this)
- i really dont want to stir the herbs during vaping

##
I considered the Plenty Vape but i really think the herbchamber is too big for me..

Any hints or ideas appreciated :)

May I suggest a Vapir Rise 2.0?

It is extremely under rated. It has both whip and bag inhalation. Not to mention you can do 4 whips at once. Mind you I have never used that before. It has a hepa filter. You can vape with the fan on for assistance or without the fan. I normally use the fan only for bags.

miniVAP would suit your needs. Check out the miniVAP thread.
Available with an AC puck for desktop use. A battery with up to 3 hours of use is also available--later on??
Supreme taste.
Ultra efficient--a small load gives a big hit.
Almost no cleaning is needed with the Flexicone basket modules---I'll post picture. I'd say Mighty needs 20X more cleaning. mV goes weeks without cleaning.
Certified clean airpath. Developed for Med MJ studies in Europe
With laminar airflow stirring is never needed.
All convection so you can stop mid-load and resume later.
Easy to use---4 temp choices, up to 445 F. Load herb into flexicone baskets so much easier than chamber loaders.
Many different ways to use it: short stem, glass mouthpiece addition, whip direct, whip to bubbler, hydratube. You can switch from direct draw to bubbler in 3 seconds.
20 minute auto shutoff---hate the Mighty 2 minute shutoff

I would go for the Arizer Extreme Q with DDave v2 mod - it's a lot cheaper than many other mods, but delivers an extremely pleasant and efficient vape. The whip is better than the bags, but both work well. Also pick up a 14mm or 18mm h2o adapter in order to connect the whip to a 14mm or 18mm water pipe.

I picked up a Cloud EVO after owning a Mighty for a couple of months and it's my daily driver now :science:
I think it ticks most of your boxes but the price can be a little high for some.

If I lived in the states I'd put an e-nano on the list of considerations too.

well put @Pyr0, I'm dyeing to get my hands on an evo of my very own. I've been driving my buddy crazy cuz I only wanna dab through their vapexhale and it's flower functionality is beyond superb (literally closest vapor to taking milky bong rips but 100% smoke free and super tasty)!! Definitely the best tasting, heaviest medicating, and most efficient vape i've ripped since I started vaping in 2008. They let me borrow their old cloud model that is actually quite kickass with flower but it's far past the time for me to step up my game

Since cost isn't an issue, I recommend the Herbalizer.

It will give everything you've listed. It does come with bags, but they're optional, as you can also use a whip (included) or glass. It heats up within about 5 seconds, and has very good temperature control. I've never combusted, never stir, and always get evenly toasted ABV. Flavor is also excellent. I truly have not one complaint....well, OK, the whip will crimp if it's not supported near the bowl, so I've modified it by forcing it inside a larger diameter tube a couple of inches.

I was going to recommend a log vape as well. The Underdog sale is a pretty great value. I know you said price isn't an issue but if you want something that tastes great and has absurd efficiency then a log vape is a great option. Customer service is unparalleled and the only thing that the underdog and probably other log vapes might be underwhelming for you is they aren't really session vapes. Though you certainly can load multiple stems and play with it for a while and that would probably suit that usage profile for you and as i understand it some users pair their logs with a water piece(or several) and while you may have to load a few stems to truly get a nice long session I personally think it's probably worth it. I love my underdog to the point where I don't use other vapes at home and if I'm going to a friend's place where I can plug it in I'll bring the dog with me and I bought a portable recently basically just because people have said its as close as you can get to a log vape in a portable unit that's already in production. Though, I'm also definitely saving up to get one of the S&B portables next.

I have several portable vaporizers.

I wanted to get a log vape about 9 months ago. I decided on the Enano, the flavor and the beauty of it plus how much cannabis I saved had me sold. I loved it so much I decided on a second nano. I have a cherry premium unit and a walnut. One of the best vaporizer purchases I ever made. @ACE OF VAPE (Andy) will treat you right.

All hail the (mighty) vapor
Hi,
thank you all for your replies and sorry for my late answer.

Options i am still considering:

Herbalizer - interesting but not available in Europe
MiniVap - Interesting but Company Service not so good(?), unit is very big
Vapir Rise - Interesting but i fear i might be disappointed since i have the mighty
Plenty - There will be a new version of the plenty soon. ugly. Doesnt stand upright,Wasteful (?)
Enano - Nice, but probably too much hazzle during vaping (stirring, only small loads)

I hate to make decisions ....

After making some more thoughts i do want from my second vape:

NEW: - NO water filter
NEW: - Stand upright (not like the "Mighty")
- No Batteries -> Desktop unit
- High efficiency
- easy cleaning (like isobathing - the "Mighty" parts)
- Quality (vapor,unit,service etc)
- easy to use
- no stirring
- no bags

Maybe someone can compare some of the above units directly with my mighty?
That would be great.

Hi Joe

just on the log vapes, with my Underdog I use the nylon stems, no stirring and when the bowl is cashed you just blow it out and suck another if you need, really is zero effort and they are all low maintenance. it absolutely pisses on the rest of your criteria and I am in the uk so no you can get them here simply enough. good luck with your quest

Quality is great! In unit and vapor

I use my Enano as a session vape, like for 10 - 15 min. I only stir one time about mid way through. It's so easy to clean also. You need to think about maintenance with a vaporizer. How much of a hassle to keep things in pristine condition.

Also how much cannabis your unit uses. Some vaporizers waste product.

You may need to be realistic about what actually exists. I think your criteria is a bit over the top.
