I just got off the phone with HA Canada, and they are well aware of your problem. Your defective unit was sent to their European service depot in Prague, and HA Canada is waiting for their diagnosis, so please be patient.

In the meantime, have you tried your HA in other outlets in the house, on a different circuit? Or even better, at a friend's house? If you have a decent multi-meter, you could also measure the voltage of all the plugs to confirm it. If you have 'dirty' power in your area, you will see the variance if you leave the multimeter in the outlet.

That said, I run all my electronics (stereo, TV, PC and all my vapes) off a good voltage line conditioner (VLC), which provides AC voltage regulation, with AC spike suppression, and noise and sine wave filtering. This not only guarantees the proper, 'clean' voltage, but increases the lifetime of the electronics. HA tells me that they have run into some problems in Europe as the result of 'dirty' line voltages, especially in England, and to a lesser extent, in Spain. The VLC can correct these problems.

So I suggest that you try these things while waiting. The VLC may be a solution for you, but I'd wait until you hear back from HA.

Hope this helps

Thanks for your help, i give to HA Canada all the information who requires and tell me the same about Prague. His atention and patient is awesome, another company clean his hands quickly, but HA belive in his product ans his customers :clap:

No, the last one are only pluged in my house, in a power surge protector. After the dead of the device i try to plug in another circuits of my house, like the termo once, and still death. The device recive power, i can hear a very subtilie buzz when i close the ear with the device pluged and switched on.

The VLC you say is something similar to a SAI for computers? can post a picture to search something similar in spanish?

Edit: Just now i measure the voltage with a multimeter. With se surge protector givme a 239V stable voltage. In my room without protector a stable 240V. I think is a bit over normal but in the limits of HA. In Spain since 2003 the tension is about 230V (sorry i say 220 some post before)

If anyone else is trying to cut down their crucible try this: I inserted a dowel that fits snugly inside and then used a pipe cutter to trim. The dowel kept the crucible from crushing it only needed a little filing for the sharp edge.

That's a handy tip. I used the Vapor Brothers ceramic screens that fit perfectly in the crucible as a guide to cut around with scissors. To hold it in position I put the screens upon a bed of AVB, although using one solid piece like a dowel would have been much easier!

@LeafyGreens I swear I read somewhere that you can request those smaller crucibles straight from HA in Canada. The vapour being produced confuses me because I thought the law was laid that this is a convection vaporizer. But, who cares...don't wanna get into semantics over the physics of it like in the Solo thread.

I'll email HA about smaller crucibles, but fingers crossed this crucible and its backup last me long enough!

You're welcome! How does the D020-D go with the HA?

I've got the TonG and water tool working a treat, but I think that a bubbler would make it that little bit more comfortable.

Sorry for the late reply, work got crazy busy and I haven't been on here as much.

In the below post I have a pic of how I use my ha with the bubbler. I bought silver surfer glass adapter to fit into the bubbler and the black connector for the pvc whip fits really well. So I just have a long pvc whip going from my ha on a table over to the glass adapter in the bubbler. On the same page as my post someone has a pic where they just fit a bigger silicon whip over a glass adapter.

@Magic9 posted the link for the adapter, it's $12 now.

Almost there...
So far this vape has yet to disappoint me in any area!
If I could be disappointed it would be at the Max temp this vape reaches and this only comes into effect when using the aftermarket GonG from PV.

Using the GonG and it is delicious and so cloudy!! The bowl holds a LOT of material!!
Not really my style so i modded it with an adjustable basket screen! Now it does small loads with ease!
I simply lower the basket, drop some material in and place my finger on top. I then insert a brush and compact the load.
I now have a small puck of material close to the air jets.
Insert and leave for 60 seconds...
First few hits are super tasty and dense!!
Later hits are tasty and just keep coming!!

Last night was 3 loads of about 0,1g/load and I was seriously medicated!!

I love that I can effectively and efficiently vape either small loads or a full packed crucible and get outstanding results!!!

Starting to wonder if it will be worth it getting the newer digital version...

Torture test success! Huge shoutout to my hombre @lazylathe for bringing it yet again!

This is an interesting unique kind of vape and i'm still trying to wrap my finger around an overall opinion which is difficult due to the time we used it for (MV had some love!). The vapour was always tasty and never tasted cached, and every scenario (crucible, gong) worked really well, especially from a medicating standpoint! I think we set a record for stoner moments!!

The HA is probably the best bang for your dollar plug in out there, and IMHO crushes the EQ. I think the HA is very underrated, and I can't understand why...marketing?

Happy to say that the Herbal Aire survived @biohacker torture testing with ease!

Tonight i decided to try the bag system!
So far my only complaint is the crucible system. Great for nugs or filling but difficult for micro loads.
We tried a MiniVap basket inverted with the crucible on top and that worked quite well but was a pain to get out.
I have my crucible screen pushed up to the middle but it is not very stable at all.
Going to have to work on it and see what i can come up with!

Bag to the bags!!
Loaded the crucible puck style and inserted and left to heat soak for 30 seconds.
Oh and one other thing!! LOL!! I am using my EQ bags! They are much bigger and are just as thick and tasty!!
Attach all the bits and turn on the pump. Not sure what pump i have as it is a 2.1 HA.
The bag fills with thick white vapor and there are still another two bags to get off the small puck.

I would have to rate these bags as the best tasting i have ever had!
Thick, delicious vapor!!

Thanks to @mikek9 for the awesome tips and tutorial!!!

@lazylathe

You probably have the medium flow pump, I believe that they no longer make the low flow model that came with the original HA 2.1s. I actually prefer the low flow pump, as it drives less air into the bags, making the vapour-to-air ratio increase, giving smoke-like cloudy bags. The tradeoff is that you have to wait longer for it to fill a bag, especially an EQ bag, not so much with the smaller HA bags.

This is the medium flow pump:

That's the one!
Fills my EQ bags pretty fast!
And yes, the bags are super dense!

I have rectified my crucible issues! Once and for all!

Since i have my screen pushed up so that i can place the load as close to the air jets as possible, i often flip the screen or it dislodges during a session. All of which annoy the heck out of me!
Decided to make a spacer for the crucible!
What i used is a lab grade test tube that i cut down in size. The rolled rim of the test tube fits perfectly inside the crucible and rests against the crucibles rim.
I know have a stop to place my screen against, close to the opening.
I can now just pack the bud in and compress it without any worry!
There also seems to be a fair bit extra conduction going on from the glass test tube! Not a bad thing at all!

Been pairing the HA with my newly arrived FC-1000, kind of a mini peyote pillar.
Very smooth and easy to take huge hits!!
This vape has killed every other vape for me for the time being!
Such a versatile vape and all in one!

Lost my crucible long ago! No intention of getting another until I heard about this cutting it down thing! Could be cool!

The Vapman has got me loving small loads again. Havnt got another crucible, but I've got one basket shaped screen point down, and another on it point up. Weighed up .15 fits in snug. The HA never is that cloudy, and this is even less cloudy I'd say, but still nice visible vapor and that HA effect we lurv.

What does it mean when the light always stays red?
Starts to heat, then solid red.

Maybe Black Friday has come at the right time!

EDIT: Seems to be fine!
Must have been a thermal overload?? But why??
One session with a small puck lasting around 30 minutes.
Weird, i will have to keep my eye on it!

Have you got a solo/air stem or gong? Try a small pluck in one of those stems either inserted in the crucible if you're brave enough or straight on the heater. Also good way to use your HA grinded and not clog up the MP screen.

Update on efficency pursuit. Airizer air stem.. Peak up domed screen. Thinking of buying arizer air shorty stem, domescreenong it and trying .075 or less type loads. Anyone with the means to do so, or even a normal screened gong with .1 or under and through water if possible... Lettuce know!

I have the PV GonG, although i am using the crucible for some reason...
I pretty much always grind for all my vapes, especially since my KannaStor VAPE GR8TR arrived!!
Awesome fine grind that milks up so nicely but still has the taste and flavor!

What's the bowl size like on the PV?

Just saw my local (10 hours away) vaporizer shop has air gongs for $30 aud and a 20% off Black Friday sale.... First time I heard of Black Friday was when four little mountain boys couldn't decide between Xbox o PlayStation :/. Anyways, would be here mid next week! Been sending my mate dhgate links so I can get my bong back... Might just have to take it I think.

I have an adjustable mesh basket screen in it at the moment!
Bowl size is whatever i want!
It's awesome.

Aw yea! Talk dirty to me! Spice this thread up a little. What size load would you put in the dirty girl do you think!? Doing .1 in the Solo stem and it's nice.

LMAO!! Big loads do me just fine!
I would say the last one was at least 0,25, all in the name of science!

Nice! Love how versitile it is! Ground herb with a nug on top to stop particals you can get an easy 2+ grams in. I prefer the ritual of loading smaller bowls more often, but so nice that this thing can get 5+ people stoned off one loading!

Fell asleep with whip in mouth last night watching a movie, going load up a bigger bowl and put the MP on for ease of use.... And I could even bowl a bag later if I wanted too. LOVE IT!

That big ass bowl vaped perfectly all the way through!
Did the whole thing dry but over compressed it so it was hard going! LOL

Trying pump powered hits tonight!
You looking for that kick you in the back of the throat session??
Try pump assisted hits with the whip!!
Direct injection!!
