I would say start at 6 like the manual and most people say. The temp drops to 350 in a couple empty draws but that because its empty and the air flow is wide open. Loaded less air will get through and the drop should be lower.

@Hjalmark you seem to like slightly higher temps so I would start out at 6.5, let it warm up for twenty minutes if you can then just leave it on 24/7. Medium grind, just a pinch, don't over pack, very light tamping, place stem on heater and rip away. Enjoy! Repeat as needed.

Some folks like to use little nuggets but I like a medium grind and temps anywhere from a tiny bit under 6 to 6.5 dependent on my cannabis I'm using. I like using my enano as a session vape but you can use it as a one hitter, it's all good.

If I use a water tool I bump the heat up.

This unit will last you a long time and you can't complain about a 3 year warranty. Too bad you guys didn't get the lifetime warranty. As of Oct. 31, 2015 that was done. I can see how that would be too expensive for a business to continue long term.

Edit
Some BlueMagoo tonight - a great strain for evening. Whether you use cannabis for medical or rec the nano will get the job done. I have joint pain and this unit helps the cannabis to melt some of the pain away.

Basket depth for the adjustable screens seem to be hard for some. Use the epic tool to assist with that. You can always drop the basket screen deeper.

The NANO is the best vaporizer concerning flavor.
Just so happens the effect is medical!

Decent flower colas from well grown weeds help!

Hello Nano Nation!!
I am so thankful for all you wonderfully kind people that I've gotten to know over the past 5 months. You all have taught me so much about not abusing this medication and appreciating every aspect of my vape, from the way it feels warm in the hands all the way to the clouds it produces with that amazing taste.
I've been all around the forums, and Nano Nation is the kindest I've come across. I'm so happy to be a part of the Nano movement!
Everyone appreciate their vapes and the wonderful plant that brings the world together.
Life is good, a blessing, and should be treated as such. I look forward to being able to wish you all another thankful day in a year. I know all our Nanos will still be working ;)
Thank you guys again! You're all so awesome. Seriously.

Back from my first session last night with the enano... Pretty impressed, amazingly smooth and efficient. I have OK stuff right now and the solo was just not cutting it, I had suspected it was very inefficient for some time now. I am a lightweight and me and my wife were having to share two bowls when with our old vaporite mini digit one would do just fine. Well we were good to go with just 1 each! and those are about half of what we pack the solo with. I know we wasted a lot of stuff this year and I knew it and just waited too long to get a better vape.

I'm getting rid of the solo soon.

The dial set to 6-6.5 was perfect for us. 6 is around 400F after sitting for 20-30 minutes. It takes longer to heat up if you set it to 6 instead of 10 for 2 minutes then down to 6.

I love how simple the enano is and how ridiculously smooth it is.

Only have two minor complaints:
1. My biggest but albeit minor complaint is the dial on the power supply. It should have detents and click into each setting. It spins freely after going past the on/off detent and is easy to bump. We kept finding we lowered or raised the temp accidentally.
2. My only other minor complaint is I would like it to be much heavier and more bottom heavy. Its so small and light I kept worrying we would knock it over.

Other than that this thing is great and so simple. I love the fixed glass screen stem. The glass is very thick, at least double the solo stem. I wish I never would have wasted my time with the solo. Now I'm going to load up on accessories and get a nice water tool hopefully there are some good glass sales this BF.

We kept finding we lowered or raised the temp accidentally....I use a twisted rubber band to capture the edges of the dial that keeps it from wandering off its settings.

2. My only other minor complaint is I would like it to be much heavier and more bottom heavy. Its so small and light I kept worrying we would knock it over....I use a piece of foam pipe insulation formed into a tight fitting doughnut that gets slipped onto the base of the vape. Not pretty but it works.

also new and welcome you and happy to be welcomed also

p:s I have also made 3 bags of frozen ice for the arrival of my vape and thinking about hanging up a ribbon saying "welcome home" .... might be a tad much

Disagree with both.

Though personally the first one wouldn't bother me that much, a lot of people do seem to like oddly specific settings or settings that are just a hair above or below a given mark on the dial. Plus every unit is different in terms of what temperatures a given setting on the dial corresponds to.

By sacrificing the light weight and/or slim profile of the nano, sure, you might make it harder to tip over, but it would be more awkward to actually use (and in the case of a wider base, might actually render it impossible to use with certain water pieces). My understanding is that you can get a rather wide UD though, and you could combine it with a VVPS of your choice that is more resistant to errant jolts. Bulk and heft are not typically what people are looking for in this one, thus "E-nano".

You should get some steel ice on eBay. You can get like 10 cubes for $20 (look up "steel ice whiskey stones"). You can get as much as you need and rotate it in and out of your freezer as necessary. (Oh, but be careful using it with glass--you obviously don't want to just drop it into a piece; gotta tilt it and let it slide in slowly, and yes, that is what she said.)

haha not used that for like 12 year or since I broke my first glass bong when I stole one from the freezer that my dad used for fancy guests, remember taking it to my room and dropping it into and through my bong :D

I got T fighter icecube tray some were ! and also my friend pointed out to buy pineapple long slices and freeze them, fit perfect in a bong with a ice cube catch

That's funny. Honestly, I'm only using it with my polycarbonate Transformer Tube, but I have seen posts on here from others who have used it in glass pieces (they just angled the piece and gently slid in the steel ice).

I have been thinking about the temperature dial. Sometimes I want to only raise or lower the heat just by a hair, a very small amount. I like to get that perfect temp for the cannabis I'm using. I think a dial that clicked into say .25 segments that would ruin it for me.

A lighted dial would be awesome. That would increase the price, I suppose the light would be something that would burn out after time.

I like knowing the temp I'm using but a temp gauge on the nano indicating that would take away from the simplicity of a log vape - I like it the way it is.

I actually have been thinking about making a lighted dial with a circle arduino board to replace the original cord, but I have a friend helping that has the education with this kind of stuff and I am probably going to ask Epic Vape if a) bad idea b) fucking with warrant c) insult do their purity of design d) epic vape company is a weird cult that hates tiny light bulbs like those I would use in design

but anyway I have like half the stuff to make that and rest would be like 30 bucks online
