Anyone seen this rosin tech machine before? :

Curious to find manufacturer & specs as well as other costing comparisons since it's pretty expensive (for me) from Wacky's http://www.wackywillysweb.com/proddetail.php?prod=rosintechmachine

It looks like it's manually applied pressure .
By turning the wheel on top .
If it's easy enuf to get the proper squishing pressure .
It could sell , but it might be another early quick scheme in the
rosin game .

I wonder why there are 2 dials ,
one for each plate to heat , I'm guessing .

Update :
I am pre-steaming my fresh buds before pressing regularly now .
in fact , time to plug in my Iron and straightener ...

Id say that one is probably a no go. Unless using strictly for hash. But I think it will have problems with bud. 8.25"*6" = 49.5 square inches of surface area. 2240/49.5 = 45.25 PSI.

I just don't think 45 psi is worth $1,000.

If a person weighs 200 lbs and stands on a 2"x2" flat iron, you would get more PSI than that wacky press lol.

You are better off getting an H press or Jewelry press or vise IMO. Plus you would save like $500-$800 and get wayyyyy more pressure!

I wonder if you can just buy the heated plates + controller without all of the weak press stuff on it on the tshirt presses?

Few of those vulcanzers on Amazon for $600ish with free shipping..... anyone brave enough to make the leap?

@PoopMachine i really hope no one is willing to waste $600 on that. It won't work very well at all. Probably worse than the 5"x5" dnail press because the plates are so much larger. Your PSI is shit on those vulcanizer things.

I highly recommend staying away from them.

Check out my post from yesterday (just a couple posts up on this page. I explain the PSI). You are better off standing on a hair straightener.

I really dont want to do a small amount at a time.. thats why Im looking for larger plates. Trying to do a couple of ounces a gram at a time will take forever.
