I am not sure if you asking specifically about the fact that they are quartz rods instead of ceramic, or the fact that they are made to fit the Alpha ....either way, they are pretty awesome. The quartz delivers smooth/flavorful hits. You can't go wrong, also being able to use them as another attachment for the Alpha is awesome.

Just want to know what people think of them. Can anyone tell me their experiences with the unimizer? Might pick one up with this black Friday coupon.

I picked up an Invader mini and Unimizer over the holiday. Trying to figure this out. I have been putting very small rice size amounts on the donut wick. What watts and temp should I be running? What are the safe limits for the Unimizer? Can someone give me some suggestions? I am used to the 8 and Persei and not mods....

I also just picked up a 5 pack of quartz hd coils and an alpha globe 510 mod. What wattage and temp is good for these as well?

I will provide some reviews once I hear back on some ballpark settings from someone on the invader mini for these devices and I can give them a thorough spin.

Around 250 degrees and 10-12 watts. Too high wattage will crack the donut. You can mess around with the temp and see what you like.

What is everyone running their dual coils at (Not quartz)?
I have found that there is a fine line between too little heat and too much heat.

Running on an evic vtc mini, I haven't went much higher than 12w. I tend to still pulse once I get it to the vapor/heat I can handle.

I just grabbed the same one for $30 on a black friday sale. I'll have to try 12w, I was doing 30w at 520 degrees. The taste was good, but I got a lot more in the cup and on the globe than I do doing 7.4v on a persei.

So even in tc mode you still pulse? Hold it down then pulse once it get's up to temp?

Just got my quartz dual coils, 510 AC, and invader mini. I was using a Persei 8 and AC with dual coils previously.

I put it on 13watt,350 degrees and it was great hits. I just pulse the button. Seems not as hot on my throat from when I was using Persei and AC yet still vaporizes my rice size dab very quickly and then quite a few leftover hits.

The only downside is the deeper bowl of the quartz dual coils otherwise so far I am enjoying them. Not sure why the deeper bowl.

Don't get the results in TC mode I like, using straight power mode at 12w and ride the button until warm and then 3 sec or so pulses. Still playing around to find a similar result as Persei @ 7.4

That's what I'm feeling like, power mode has been working pretty well. I get mixed results in tc and can't quite get it where I want it. Still good, just not quite there yet. Having fun playing with it though.

So I do have a few questions about the products you are offering for sale, and a question about shipping.

I know the coils used in the Alpha Globe work in the W9 AC, but I was wondering what, if any, is the difference between the two? Besides of course the W9 AC coming with the metal top as well as a glass globe, which I would prefer if I had a choice anyway for carrying it around. I'm clumsy and have broken a few glass globes in my time!

The second thing I've been wondering concerns the Nibbler AC. Would it work on the Alpha Globe? And two, comparing pictures (and the names given on W9 Tech's website in the description for the Nibbler AC, where in the description it is also referred to as the Nibbler U) the Nibbler U and Nibbler AC seem nearly identical. Are they? I know the Nibbler U on OV is supposed to be designed for the Uni, so you can see where I'm a bit confused when I've been comparing a few things on the two websites.

Three concerns shipping. I would prefer to be able to pick up my package directly at the post office, and I know that there is an option through USPS to print a label that will have it held at my local post office, but is still sent to me with my address and such on the label. I don't know if you would be willing to do go through that extra step or not, but I figure I could ask!

On another note, your prices certainly amazing and I hope to be doing business with you soon! Good luck with everything, it's exciting to see how quickly things have changed and improved in just the few months I haven't been paying attention to this scene! (Medical card elapsed a few months ago, but I'm seriously considering renewing it again now that I don't have to save for a wedding anymore!)

Oilvaporizer.com has just lowered prices store wide. No coupon codes are needed to save even more on our Standard and Alpha Globe kits and coils , Prime cartridges ,Cannacig and Omega vaporizers and more!

The single and dual coils are the same quality components between the Alpha Centauri and Alpha Globe, while Oil Vaporizer's 1701 differs. Oilvaporizer's are disposable, they have the heating element as W9 Tech's 1701. The 3.7V version of that 1701 comes in the full Alpha Centauri kit are easily rebuildable, when the ceramic disc fails, it's easy to disassemble, clean, and build anew(click the Product Videos tab in the link to see) if you want. The housing can accommodate the ceramic disc or a coil of your choosing.

The Alpha Globe's base has O ring fittings for the Alpha glass only, while the Alpha Centauri comes with a threaded base to accept the discreet housing or O ring adapter for the glass globe.

The Nibbler U is for the Unimizer and the Nibbler AC is being designed to work on the Alpha Centauri. The glass looks very similar, but the size at the base is different with the Nibbler U having a larger diameter opening to accomodate the larger size of the Unimizer.

As far as the Nibbler AC goes, older Alpha Centauri will need a new 3 o ring base to support it, while newer Alpha Centauri come with the 3 o ring glass already. Current Alpha Globes are still 2 O ring and won't fit the Nibbler AC, they will require an entire new base to fit.

We require all shipments to be sent to the billing address only, our credit card processor won't allow us to ship to any different address. You'd need to have a PO box at your post office to have a package held there, and you'd need that PO box address to be the address your bank statement is sent to for this to work.

I hope this helps @blacknteal831 please let me know if you have any further questions!

Nice, dual coil 5 pack back down to $25. I've got so many though, I keep buying new 5 packs instead of iso'ing my old ones. I love a fresh dual coil.

I know this is going to sound weird, but I get a much better experience out of the AC single coils than the dual coils.
I have tried every combination I can think of running the dual coils and the vapor is always thinner and hotter.

Awesome! Thanks for getting back to me on that. I figured there was probably a difference given the price. I'm still seriously considering a globe as I just can't justify the cost of the full AC kit. I'm not into rebuilding anyway, but that's good to know if I ever change my mind later.

Just wanted to make sure! I wouldn't have thought they were interchangeable given the different carts they were designed for, but I wanted to check. Might want to let someone at W9 know that on the website describing the Nibbler AC they refer to it as the Nibbler U as well, hence my confusion, figured I'd just get the answer for that!

I understand that, it's too bad about how this industry is still so frowned upon. Hopefully that will change soon! I'd read that it has to do with your credit card processor, I was just curious to see if this would be possible for a couple reasons. Technically I know I can do a package intercept at USPS to have it held at the Post Office, but they charge $15 to do so! But with the hold for pickup label it's still printed with my name and address on it as the person who it's being delivered to, and is still through priority express mail (in fact it usually has to be paired with an extra service such as insurance or signature required). They just add an extra section to the shipping label that says hold for pickup and the post offices location. Figured that might have been possible but I understand it's not really under your control! Thanks for the info though!

Now I just gotta keep reading up and seeing which box mod I want to get to power whatever I end up getting!

I've mostly used mine on a mechanical mod at 7.4v where tapping the button gets me giant clouds. At 3.7v on the same mod it's definitely wispier and weaker than I'd like. I've only recently gotten a tc box and I'm still trying to dial it in on that to get the same results as the mech mod at 7.4v. I get good results on the tc box, just not quite where I want it yet.

@VaporGoddess ,@SamuraiSam Does the site still sell single prime cartridges, or are 5-packs the only option now?
Also, will the Alpha globe be compatible with the nibbler AC when it comes out, even though the alpha globe only uses 2 o-rings?

As far as the Nibbler AC goes, older Alpha Centauri will need a new 3 o ring base to support it, while newer Alpha Centauri come with the 3 o ring glass already. Current Alpha Globes are still 2 O ring and won't fit the Nibbler AC, they will require an entire new base to fit.

Unfortunately I'd say not =\

blacknteal831,
Gary stated in the Persei thread that the necessary new base would be included with the AC nibbler to accomodate those with outdated versions of the AC
@ragnorokk

This possibly would work with the Alpha Globe, I was going with the impression from @SamuraiSam's response that even the included base with the Nibbler AC wouldn't work with a globe period. If it does though that would be awesome!
