Cheap High Quality Bubbler

@Justpassedu what is usability like beyond the defects? Is it a comfortable height when it's on top of your vaporizer? Too thin/thick, more of an angle on the mouthpiece?
Check the Eq thread i put a pic of it there attached to my eq. I'd have to do some more testing to answer those questions. I just got it last night and only did 1 session with it so far. When fully filled right past the slits in the perc i do get a bit of water in my mouth if i pull to hard. so a slow drag is somewhat needed. Height is about a foot i would say give or take a few inches. I think it may pair better with my portables but i'll do a bit more testing. So far it was ok though , i wish it was perfect though. The quality is not so great , perc seems to be off a bit and it does not bubble perfect. It did work though. I usally vape sitting down so when i mated it to the eq it was just a bit weird for me having to get up and stand over it to pull but that is prob just bc i am not used to using my vapes this way. I am sure people that own a evo are.

FWIW the foot that comes with Stevens hydrotube is good for putting HOT VxNails in.

Caveat.....
All my water goes from the top perc into the bottom. I let it sit for 5 minutes and it ran all to the bottom.

Thanks @Justpassedu and @Slow Draw McGraw i think I'll stick wth this recycler tube thing. It is fun on the fc-mod, a little awkward by itself though.

For $25, it's not bad. Function is excellent. It holds a good amount of water but you don't have to be precise. It works best with a good amount of water being pulled into the recycler, maybe 2/3 filled, but still works well if its only filled half way. Filling it to 2/3's or less makes it pretty much spill proof as you would have to lay it down at ninety degrees to get it to spill, and you pretty much can't. I have tried to get water to pull through and I don't see a way that you could ever get water during a hit. The only negative I have found is I purposely caused some back pressure over the sink and once the water starts flowing out of the bottom the recycler portion puts additional pressure into it and it will drain almost all the water on its own. Having said that, short of blowing through it and initiating the back pressure, I can't imagine this being a problem. I would not hand this to a rookie though.

The actual construction on the other hand is not very good and the places that look weak in the pictures are pretty weak in reality sadly. The two bottom recycler joints are incredibly thin and the top of the main chamber is twisted and might have a very small pin hole. The main perc is cut randomly and not evenly though it seems to function fine. The 18mm joint and foot are very nice and fit everything I have with no problems. It's just a little tall to hold comfortably sitting, 14", and I would like the mouthpiece at 45 degrees or so, but overall it's a pretty good piece. I don't know that I would buy it again because of the height and workmanship, but it's certainly a good addition for the price.

Here is the link to store I bought it from. If anyone tries a different store I would love to know what the quality is like.

Envy glass out of SoCal makes a wide range of hand blown American glass (from very cheap/affordable to much more high-end). I got a sick likkle mini-bubbler (dab rig style) last time I was in Denver for under $35 out the door and it pairs beautifully with my vape selection

My current bong has an 18mm opening and the down stem is 14mm. Is it easy to get an 18-18 down stem, and if I buy a 14mm bong can I get a stem to take it up to 18?
First you should determine the length you need for the downstem starting to measure downward from the bottom of the ground glass joint. But I just received a 5pck of downstems off dhgate for $12 and they aren't the best quality but for the that price now I have a couple back ups. The 14mm downstem with built in 18mm adapter is hard to come by and you probably won't find one on dhgate but an 18/18mm or 18/14mm with a 14/18mm adapter should work fine. There are also probably more styles of diffusion to be found on dhgate with the 18/14mm downstem.

Yingmin5's (GB-187-1) arrived in 9 days from the time I ordered it to first hit!! for $38...WOW!

First thing I noticed is that I ordered the no logo piece and I got the logo. Not my preference but not a big deal, at least it's straight! Other than that it's pretty much perfect! The perc fires evenly and has very even sized holes. Joints look decent and the mouth piece and perc are straight.
The only thing that is a slight concern is that the 18mm GonG is a bit deep and some 14/18mm adapters don't work in this unit. That's true with most of these can type Chinese pieces and isn't a big deal. I found putting a 18/14 straight downstem works great as an adapter. I would DEFINITELY buy this piece again.

Mod note: pics with counterfeit logos removed

Yeah, I need this! it's around $30 from OGB right? I used to buy all of my old down stems off of iOffer from him, nice stuff. Got a FC-710 coming too. I may get addicted to this cheap glass if I keep getting lucky with good ones!

So what should I reply to Jane with regarding the HT? She wrote:

"I only see it is different with the joint deep, could you tell me orignial version'size,so that I can produce it according to your size"

What should I reply with? I'm at a loss...

A picture of the EVO with measurements. (Probably a bad idea).
Perhaps the measurement from the BASE of the EVO joint to the top of the vape. Then add some for variations in manufacturing tolerances.

"Flush with the bottom" being the vital part. I was thinking, if you had an existing hydrotube you could put a metal rule across the bottom then measure from the edge to the top of the joint to give her a precise depth. (Hope that makes sense)

I received my hydra tube and my GonG's for my solo fit amazingly well, however, all of the water in the top portion leaks down into the bottom section of the hydra tube, even when it's just sitting on its stand. To the point that it doesn't even have enough water to perc properly. If I add any more water, the bottom section will overflow and leak down into my Solo. There's also a ton of tiny bubbles in the joints and two tiny cracks, both inside at the perc joint.

Kind of disappointed with this piece, not sure if this was ever filled with water to test judging by the film on the glass when I received it. I'll message Steve and see what he'll do.

could you tell me how many length that I should reduce?
Something tells my Jane doesn't understand what "flush" means.

Since I don't have a metric ruler, guess I'll have to guess the MM.

Frankly, all her questions on exact sizing are making me want to just say to hell with it & just be done with them as a seller. Like they're going to actually correct anything.

Could you just send her a picture of the Evolver HydraCirc as an example? Thanks for trying

I managed to trip on nothing and fell and broke my bubbler. I have a do20 but I preferred the one that broke. I think I've narrowed down my choice to either the V2 FC-UFO or the WP-010. If you've used one of these I'd appreciate input. My concern about the FC-UFO is that it's comes from Steve.
