Pesticides Found in Dispensaries....

I've just been diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension and then I just read this. Wonder if there is any connection?

Considering all the coke, amphetamines and cigarettes I ingested back in the 60's and 70's, I would think that that is more the issue than the very small amounts of bud that I vaporize but for those who vaporize a lot more than I do, this article may pose a bit of a concern.

This is exactly what I try to inform everyone of, thank you @lwien for sharing this.

MED (Marihuana Enforcement Division) has very strict rules regarding the use of Systemic Pesticides (Stays in the plant cells forever) ..

Mainly Eagle 20 and Avid.
Even though Dispensary owners can face serious fines and immediate shut down on their op. They still use these chemicals to ensure their investment is not compromised.

A friend of mine was a Master Grower for a very, very popular Dispensary with 3 different locations in the Springs alone.

He had a great deal of experience going in to the grow, and he said his mind was "fucked" from what these guys are "teaching " me..(even used hand quotes)

Anyhow, he ended up doing the bidding of the unscrupulous owner.

After about 1 month, he could not bring himself to continue knowingly poison this sacred plant, even though he thought he landed his "Dream Job "

He only asked..

"Sir, do you think we could maybe try Organic, safer pesticides in a rotating array of safe pesticides?"

He was fired immediately.

The MED has made it a prerequisite to label EVERY ingredient, chemical used on the bottle /bag.

This was implemented at least 2 years ago, and I still see plenty of guys with no labels, no knowledge of the content of their meds.

The best advice is ask questions, don't listen to the youngsters at the Budtender station, they will sidestep your inquiries, ask to speak with a Manager due to Compromised Auto-Immune system.

Hope this helps.

Please feel free to ask more questions guys.

Fuck man, your friend getting fired makes my blood boil. I hope your friend broadcasts that shit from the highest mountains. I would boycott such a store if I lived in the neighbourhood after verifying that something like that had happened.

The irony is they don't even need to grow under glass to find another way! So stupid!
