looking for a travel-friendly low cost dry flower vape

Being new to vaping i just bought the only dry weed vape in the small town store was in at the time. It's a Hebe Titan 2. I like it but I also haven't tried any others really so wouldn't know. It seems good. I can set the temperature, charge it with USB, and its pretty small and lightweight. I'm a hitchhiker so weight and size matter a lot, along with ease of charging and battery life (the battery life on my current model is lacking I believe.) I was wondering if anyone could recommend an even better model that would not be too expensive (like under 60$ would be nice) that would also fit my other requirements.

ps Thanks fuckcombustion! I love your site!

Haha I literally just saw the Titan for around $55 and was going to suggest that!
Generally I've noted that we haven't really gotten too many portable electronic vapes below $100-120(usd) on the market right now.
The first things that come to my mind when thinking of budget vapes are the MFLB, Solo, and FlowerMate- or perhaps the VapMan or Vaporgenie if butane vapes interest you

Daisy isn't really travel-friendly because of the glass pieces.
I'd recommend a Vapman because it's tiny, delivered with a waterproof case, butane powered.

+1 for Vapman if you get the pear basic on sale with a discount code off of Vapelifestore: codeword 'blacknow' it will run you $64. It's out at most other places...due to how awesome and cheap it is, I presume. The torch lighters and butane will be extra, Vapman torches are the best because they have an easy ignition button and are dependable. In the long run butane is easier than batteries, which cost extra too, and the battery vapes themselves are not as reliable because they can break easier. In some ways Vaporgenie might be better though, it's a bit cheaper, more rustic, and can use a regular bic lighter...

Ah yes if you are willing to go with one made of glass, there is the Dynavap Vapcap, which is $35 dollars including shipping. It's a pre-order at this point, but will be shipping in december it seems.

Perhaps the Storm Pen or Xmax v2?

Not sure if they are under 60$, but many of our (FC) Sponsers are doing killer deals.

Also check the classifieds section here. I think there are some portables available that fit your needs right now.
Hope this helps.

I've got two cheapo Chinese vapes en route right now, the "VAX" vaporizer (surprisingly not a pax clone/knockoff) and the herbstick eco. Got both of them on DHgate for $60 ($50 with my coupon)! I sometimes have a call for a cheap portable I wouldn't mind losing.

The herbstick eco is dirt cheap and spoken of fairly highly by a few here. It has a sealed airpath and will apparently milk a bubbler. For $25 I jumped on it. fuckcombustion.com/threads/herbstick-eco-vaporizer.18000

The VAX was/is a a shot in the dark I couldn't find a real user or review so I went guinea pig, I had a coupon if my order hit $60. They are both supposedly in the country now and should be here in next few days and I'll write something up.

Honestly a butane powered vape sounds like it may be ideal for you, I've been in the market for one myself but have only used vapor genie so can't really help out as far as suggestions go. Be safe out there dude!

When I looked on DHgate the other day I noticed several vaporizers going for real cheap. Be careful that you don't receive a knock-off. I saw the Air, Solo, Ascent all going for way under what the actual prices are. You are risking getting a fake vaporizers, if it's fake your warranty won't be any good.

I wouldn't go through Alibabas either, they are known for fake units.

Real curious if these units are real or fake. Someone that has lots of money maybe could take one for the team.

Edit
I guess FCer @OF purchased an Ascent from DHgate and we are in the process to see if they are real. Stay tuned, I would hold off buying a vape from DHgate. A lot of portables I would say 1/3 end up having to be sent back within a year because the unit stops working. That's been my case anyway on the average. Not so much with Arizer products. If you don't have a real unit, you are out your money.

Portable vaporizers don't seem to be as well made as some desk top units. Most aren't intended on being your only daily driver.

I see in the Arizer Air thread @OF bought an Air from DHGate and it's a fake.

I have no problem with DHgate's glass knock offs.

Agreed, knowingly buying Chinese stuff is a hell of a lot different than being sold counterfeit BS! As a rule unless its a Chinese brand (or Chinese manufactured) and I see it on dhgate/alibaba I consider it a fake.

I saw those fake solo's lol, some of them were well over $100.. Kinda silly when the authentics are available for $130. Trying to work out a small order of the stems and micro bubblers these guys make :science:. That sell confirmed he sold "1:1 replicas" he also had $250 volcano's .
