We are very happy to announce the new Flowermate v3 Air Vaporizer. The all new design features the FlowerMate Patented Convection AirFlow System. This new AirFlow system evenly distributes air throughout the chamber without cooking the blend.

  • 100% Pure Vapor. No Combustion ever
  • Compact Pen Design. Only 6" tall
  • Light Weight Aluminum. The vape weighs only 5oz
  • Heats in less than a minute. The vape is ready when the light is solid, unlike some other brands *cough*
  • Improved Chamber
  • Convection Airflow
  • 5 Minute Shut Off
The New Chamber
The new FlowerMate design is all about flavor and dense vapor. The ceramic chamber is deeper then the standard FlowerMate and has larger air holes. This provides vapor that is much more dense, and with more free flowing air than any other FlowerMate version. The 2 side airflow holes are placed above the electronics and battery which ensure the quality flavor. The all glass chamber connects to your Borosilicate glass mouthpiece which keeps that flavor nice and pure.

Waxy Tank: The new Waxy tank is filled with organic cotton wick. Organic Cotton is perfect for solid and liquid materials.

Dry Tanks: You do not need the dry tank to vaporize your blends however if you are on the go this is a great option. The dry tanks are air vented on the sides and bottom. Perfect for quick loading your vaporizer.

That Sleek Design
FlowerMate vaporizers are known for their sturdy builds, the V3 is no exception to this rule. The new V3 Air has an aluminum shell with leather hand grips that have chrome trim on the black, or copper for the white.

New Mouthpiece
The New BoroSilicate Glass Mouthpiece utilizes the cone design which spins and cools the vapor before it reaches your mouth. The 1/4" mouthpiece tip has plenty of room for great airflow.

Easy To Use
The single button design keeps things simple. Load the Chamber. Press the button 5 times to turn it on. Wait for the blinking light to turn solid and you are good to go. The temperature is adjusted by holding the button for 3 seconds. That's it!

The V3 Air has Three Settings: Blue 385f (196c) Purple 400f (204c) Red 415f (213c)

Included:
  • Flower Mate v3 Air
  • Pyrex Mouthpiece
  • Universal Adapter
  • Charger
  • 3 Screens
  • Dry Tank
  • Liquid Tank
  • Poker Tool
  • Cleaning Brush
  • Documentation
  • 1 Year Warranty

Its says it has a ceramic chamber then a couple sentences later it says a glass chamber. Which is it I wonder? It looks interesting their mixing key ingredients from other vaporizers out there, might be a gumbo worth checking out.

Pretty sure it's ceramic. Puffitup has a lot more pics on their site.

Also priced at $134

Wow, that's surprising verbiage to see in promotional material... And calling it Air, sure okay, don't come up with your own name or anything...

This does not seems to be convection, still conduction ceramic tube oven, chamber walls heating, just has more airflow, and chamber is longer (woohoo?)... Bullets like a Pinnacle Pro too?

Ok glass mouthpiece seems better, vortex sure. Isolated electronics finally even better. But the same shitty temps? No swappable batteries either.

I'm gonna take a big old pass on this one but thanks for sharing @FrankReynolds. Always interesting to see but I am unimpressed with Flowermate. Personally I'll keep watching other Chinese companies for a truly innovative new vape...

I think it's probably about as much of a convection vaporizer as 7th floors sidekick

I'm not a flowermate fan either. Someone posted a picture of the inside of one of their 5.0 or 5.0s (too many damn variations) on reddit and part of the plastic was discolored black from heat. Not sure if it was separate from the air path or not but regardless it left a bad taste in my mouth (and more than likely the guys mouth who was puffing on it all that time lol.)

I'm interested in how this plays out. Looks cool. The name is almost ungooglable though. They're making some bold claims. What does "last 10circles" mean? It shouldn't be long before reviews start popping up.

10 cycles, classic Chinese, riddled with typos and strange grammar. This is actually one of the better ones, but still makes plenty mistakes. Also if a cycle is 5min like the others what's impressive about that, with those temps...

I'll probably give this one a try too ...only thing I would be wary of..is the ceramic oven..my imag ceramic just dumped on me after almost a year of use..it was a beta unit..battery was still going..a hairline crack in the chamber prevents it's from heating up now..so looking for a new portable ..still gonna pick up another imag tho hard to beat it for the price.. just make sure not to tap it against anything this time when emptying the bowl..the glass mp and adapter look great for a quick session through a bong

Thanks for posting this Frank
I haven't looked at the other Flowermate threads, but they (the devices) have a decent rep don't they?
Must go read some.

I'm slightly interested, but I'd need some more convincing that it's not just another conduction vape with a nod to convection (I fancy a full convection vape after my INH 05)

It looks very stealthy, and the materials sound promising ( Boro, ceramic, leather ffs!), but I don't need stealth much myself
But if it functions like a cordless log-vape I'M IN!

I gave my first flowermate away and haven't looked at them again. But it's such a good price that it might be worth trying. I rarely use anything but the Haze now but I can always send it to V if I don't like it.

Thanks Lookhigh.
Just saw a post on reddit from puffitup saying that they'd dismantled the vape.
They seemed to be saying that the black piece (maybe they're referring to the spiral outside the heater which heats incoming air) seems to be made of plastic similar to the Mighty's body.

I hope that I've picked that up wrong, as I don't fancy the taste of hot plastic :nope:

And it would have to get reasonably hot to do this:

Hi my friends, I plan a full review of this vape for the end of the week......really curious about this convection unit...although, in the video before, I didn't noticed this particular vapor flow a full convection device offer to you.....I will get a better idea when I get it in my hands!

Wow that video looks pretty impressive! Don't care for the plastic air path though.

please note that I have only seen one comment on reddit (from puffitup I think?) stating that the spiral part looked like plastic ( compared it to the plastic that the crafty/mighty are made from).

I would hope that a part specifically designed to be heated and deliver hot air wouldn't be made from plastic.
To be fair though, I do own an Inhalater, which does almost exactly this (but I'd rather another material now thanks vape manufacturers)

Hey everyone!

I just received my FMV3 Air from @PuffItUp !!!
This thing feels sturdy and tough like the Imag+ but looks and tastes better!!

It comes with
-boro mouthpeice
-a dry material pod and a concentrate pod.
-universal water pipe attachment
-cleaning brush and tamping tool
-two chamber screens
-USB charger

Flowermate V3Air and Imag+ ceramic side by side

Looking down the chamber without bottom chamber screen inserted

So far I haven't had a ton of testing time. I did about 4 burn-offs, not that i felt it needed it. My original FMV5.0 that i got last year completely reaked of robot fart. This one wasnt so bad. I have done 1 dry material pod so far it definety produces visible vapor and effect More testing to be done!

Edit-I want to add that you do not need to use a dry material pod to vape dry material in the FMV3 Air. You can just drop it in the chamber, however you must make sure to insert one of the provided screens. in the bottom of the chamber. I have not inserted it yet since I used to pod to start.

How fast was the heat up time? Have you tried it through a bong yet, how was it?

I think we should summon @OF here as he did his preliminary review in the FM5 thread.

I can't get in touch with my Smiss contact anymore so I'm unsure I'll be able to test this one and the two new other models that have been released at the same time (Mini Pro and the hybrid one)

There is definitly more conduction than convection, in fact it's written "convection airflow" and not "convection heating system", I plan to let a load in the unit without taking a draw to see how this affect the flowers.

I disagree about the cooler vapor, for me it's vape to use with water filtration, even on low temp it produces fat clouds and make me cough, slightly better without grinding.

It is very efficient, evenly brown abv, it's definitly a heavy hitter able to kill your load with 1-4 fat hits!

Heating time is very long imo (I'm not sure about the exact time) and my unit seems to have issues to do back to back sessions (it was even blinking to the 5mn autoshutoff without to be able to reach the temp, as the unit was already hot...?!?).

Battery last 3-5 sessions, it depends your heat setting, it's a bit too short imo...and charging time is longer than the 1 and half hours in the user guide, first charge took to me +5 hours and after at least 3 hours.

I'll post my full review when I will be able to take some pics.

Here my full review of the V3 Air.

It's a very well built vaporizer, feel solid in hand, I like the silver unit I get. It's very near of the Inhalater 05 in term of size, slightly bulkier, it looks fat.

The bowl is a bit bigger than the Imag+ or Storm, there is a glass mp and a water pipe adaptater included in the package.

As mentionned before charging time is longer than mentionned in the user guide, it last 4-5 hours I think.

You need to clic 5 times to power it on and it start to heat at low setting, 2s press to change setting.

Heating time is + 1mn to low setting, even longer with a capsule in the bowl.
First hits are very big, but after 3-4 hits vapor decrease a lot, I think it's conduction based cause after some seconds hit vapor disappear (as in a conduction vape) in my miVape more you draw more vapor you get, it's not possible to "clear" the bowl.

As a lot of vape there is a bit of "new" taste, I expect it disappear. taste is decent.

Vapor production is impressive, even at low setting, but a bit harsh for me (i prefer to use it with water filtration) although i don't get any sucess (no visible vapor)with wax capsule and mitiged with dry herbs capsule.

Abv comes out perfectly browned on the yellow side on low but never black even on high.

Autoshuttoff is 5mn, there is no heating setting memory (when you power it it always start at low) and there is a bug cause when it turn off and you want to power it back you need to clic 5 times to reset the previous session and again 5 clics to start again.

Battery life is 4-7 sessions of 5 mn...not really impressive and no replaçable batteries!

All in all it's a pretty decent but they need to work about a better batterylonglife. It's definitly a heavy hitter, not a sipper but it's far away of a convection vape...I don't know what means "convection airflow"...it get a pretty unrestricted airflow, maybe that's all cause i can't see where is the heating convection.

Here some pics:

Just a little update, there is no bugs, in fact when the heater turn off using autoshutoff you only need to press 2s to power the heater on again to the last heating setting used, my mistake sorry (it is not mentionned in the user guide).

I mentionned it is a heavy hitter...the dry herbs capsule make it more a sipper with less visible vapor (I understand better the SDMG comment about cool vapor). And it helps if you prefer to vape small amount.

I mentionned a longer heating time with the capsule in, I think it depends the battery level, when battery is full, heating time is pretty the same.
