Its actually 20 days for preorders

I am not sure that is the correct portion. It also says:

If you are selling goods or services in an online store (not eBay), you may be allowed to presell items but we may hold your money in a reserve account or limit what you can do with your account to reduce the higher risks associated with presale items.

No joke, one of the most important things I learned in the world of business, under promise and over deliver.

But again, I find it a little too much of a coincidence that they just happen to keep promising pre-order delivery in the next 30-60 days for the past 420+ days, and the policy of them staying funded coincides with this.
And that's what Scotty told Captain Kirk...

In general I agree with you under promising and over delivering is the way to go. The big difference here is they used crowdfunding. In order to get people excited about putting their money towards a "unicorn" they have to make some grandiose claims. The fairly unique thing in the crowdfunding world is the product appears to deliver on most of their promises.

I also see you use the word "promising", that is your interpretation of what they have said. They always use the word estimate, because they are/were smart enough to realize that making promises, especially ones that you have no idea you can keep would be bad precedent.

You may be entirely right about the Paypal thing. I'm very surprised they still use Paypal, since we have seen on numerous other vapes that Paypal does not allow "paraphernalia", I'm not sure how they haven't gotten their money "frozen".

Go back and read June 2014's update, if you think they just kept going, "whoops we underestimated" for 15 months, that is magical thinking at its best - but hey, good for you for being a glass half full kinda person. I am a bit of a pessimist.
You're not a pessimist you're a realist.

Well I mean it's the simpler explanation.

I am trying to be nice about it. Plus I am a believer in, 'never say never' - so I might feel 99% right but I have been surprised too many times to count when I was sure of something. And in the big scheme of things I really want the GH to work out, I want one. I just don't like the way the company has made me feel while I was a pre-order.

Should I wait until later to order or should I order now. There's no doubt I want one of these but should I wait until the problems are done (I know everything is not defective) or order now? And is there December date reliable?

I've been enjoying the ride, so come on board! But I don't think you should expect a December delivery. I ordered in early June, and I think December is a long shot for me. But I'm still hoping...

I too am an early June preorder. I posted here a couple of days ago. I got a reply email back from Caroline and she said mine is to be shipped in January.

So I like to avoid this thread, came to check in and noticed I missed the last update...

"We still expect to be through the vast majority of backers this month."

so basically my pre-order shipping status of Nov is pretty much officially BS right?

I think the answer is yes, but feel free to email Caroline at ghl. For what it's worth, I'm a June preorder and praying for December, but (more realistically) hoping (?) for January. I think if you are an early preorder, you have a shot at late December.

Just wanted to chime in and say my ti hopper arrived 6 days ago, just in time for a trip down to La.

Unfortunately about 3 days into using it I started getting the lights of death, but thankfully clicking it on and off twice it will act normal and Ive been using it like that for a few days now. Still going through 3-4 grams a day, but using all 4 of my batteries to do so.

Now to the good, holy shit this thing is incredible! Just like everyone else has said, it's all true. Huge clouds on demand, instant heat up, great flavor, great airflow, without a doubt the best vape I've ever used for my style of vaping, which is simply get very stoned very fast whenever I'm out and about

I truly hope ghl can stay afloat through all these warranty repairs and honor the lifetime warranty. Id still choose my not fully functioning gh over any other vape without a second thought, I won't be sending mine in for repair till it totally dies.

Good luck to the rest of you, hopefully we start getting a lot of hoppers with zero issues soon, gonna go get even higher in the sun now

For real man, keep the faith! Every time I've used it it still blows my mind. The only other vape I've used since its arrival is my evo to do some side by side testing. The evo can definitely milk better of course, but holy hell the gh can produce gigantic tasty clouds. I've been using the gh more then the evo at home because I get so stoned before the evo heats up I start missing the auto shutoff for it and just let it blink.

Obviously it won't be perfect for everyone, but for me I have zero need for another portable as long as I have a working gh

I have an Evo too and was curious as to the comparison. Any other thoughts between the two? I have the hydrahoneycomb tube for the evo. Wonder if i could rig the hopper to work with it. Do the ELBs for the evo fit inside the hopper?

Someone else posted a video of a Hopper in a new VXL tube (honeycomb or turbine), no rigging needed, seemed to work well with just the session extender to seal.

And no, ELBs will not fit

You wouldn't need to rig anything up like shit snacks said, just need an 18mm to 14mm adaptor for like $5. I use my hopper with my hydrotube a lot, very tasty.

As for comparing to the evo, it's only advantage is heat up time. So when I'm looking to get baked by myself real fast then it's hopper for sure. But if I'm looking to go through a lot of bud with some friends or I just want a long session it's evo for sure, just so easy to load Elbs and keep hitting the evo. I still usually bust both of them out when friends are over, and no one complains that they get higher when they hit the evo

Definitely nice to have both in the arsenal, covers all my needs as far as herb goes

Old & In the Way
I see two things on HL website that are new (to me).

!. The addition of "Warranty Request" as an option is now visible under the Account menu heading.

2. On the pre-order page a for each of the Hoppers, the Estimated Ship Date is now February 2016. (My own ship date has not changed recently. Still optimistically reads Nov. '15, but I only ordered in early Aug. '15, I'm way back in the cue, at this point I'm not counting on any dates at all.... "HL, take your time and do a nice job."

I am curious rather the order date and the ship date are rational. Has everybody before a certain
order date received there hopper and everyone after not received it. If this is not true does it make
sense. I also await to hop along.

Yes they more or less correspond- people with (I think?) Dec. 4th 2013 orders are just getting address confirmation emails, and it has been going in order. Mostly- I think there have exceptions....
