Thought so, I'm awaiting WPA's and a wand so I'm gunna make it work until then.

I do, simply because I feel like the vapor builds up the reclaim faster. I like clean glass, and that wand can get pretty dirty real fast
I broke my WPA today...been using it daily for over a year. 
I was forced to use the transfer wand, it wasn't so bad but man I really prefer the water filtration.
I already ordered a replacement and some new screens hopefully will be here on Friday.

If you have a 18 to 14 mm adapter (or 14 mm bubbler) you can press the transfer wand on that and get a good enough glass on glass seal to continue to run it through water.I broke my WPA today...been using it daily for over a year.

I don't have that unfortunately. I have an 18mm bong and that's it. Thanks for the tip though, I love my vapor filtered through water.
Why not use an 18mm male to male adapter? Shove a screen or a basket screen in one end and load that sucker up!

If he doesn't have the reducer I'm assuming no male/male adapter either but that's what I'd buy instead of the WPA.
you have any high temp silicone lying around from any whips? You have any Teflon tape lying around? wrap the end of the transfer wand enough to make a good seal into your 18 mm. just keep it out of the vapor path.

Sounds like he's got an 18mm female waterpipe. (Let's be real, 18mm male waterpipes arent that common)
The LSV has an 18mm Female joint. If his pipe also has an 18mm Female fitting, all he needs is the classic 18mm male to male adapter included with most DHgate purchases and a screen of some sort to install in the middle.
Even if he doesn't have a M2M, any LHS within 20 miles should have one for under $15 he can pick up locally

Update: so I decided to put the transfer wand directly into the downstem. It works!
My vapor path is obviously a lot longer, but hey it's a quick fix.
