My one and only vape for over a year until about 2 weeks ago was an Arizer Solo.. Love this thing but I wanted to see if better existed and who doesnt like new toys?

So I bought a Arizer Extreme Q. I've had it for about a week and I cant ******* stand it.. first few times I tried .3 grams, around what i do in the solo and its vape was weak.. barely even got a buzz.. So I thought lets double up and see if it can be a good vape for big sessions.. .6 grams latter and I'm still not even close to being as high from just one solo pack.

I heard people like the whip with the fan on but I thought it was worse like that.. I want vapor in my lungs not a tone of air with some vapor.. So then I tried the bag and got pretty much the same results.. lots of useless air i could just swallow by myself, mixed with some vapor..

I'm so lost now.. My solo is amazing and my extreme q is really bad to me, a complete waste. wish i could return it or sell it.

Whats the best vape for sessions around .3 grams? I've been looking at the SSV ( picked Q over this cause i heard the part that connects to the vape has to be held there ) Crafty ( is this really that much better than a solo? ) Plenty ( i hear its a weed hog but also hear you can do .3 sessions with the pad and it work well )

Any other suggestions? Whats the .3 gram champ? I want vapor quality and highness above all else

Check out the Haze thread. The Solo and Haze are my favorite portables. I don't really know what .3 would equal since I've never measured how much I use per session but it is a very small amount if that's what you're looking for.

is the enano a good upgrade from a solo or just different? I really want the plenty I wish I just ordered it instead of the Q.. I bet I would have been happy with it

I never tried the solo because I also don't really like the Extreme. I think the Haze is a fantastic vape myself, I almost went for the Plenty but it seems a bit harder to use.

The most effective vape I have used so far is the vapman, and I have tried quite a few. Less air, more vapor. Once you get the hung of it (it needs some practice) you are able to get amazing sessions as fast or as slow as you want. It's magic, it really is!

The Solo is an excellent product but the E-nano is quite different. It has a lot more power for sure. .3 is a lot of herb for a log vape.
These are the 2 I've been using lately- if I'm not feeling one, the other gets me there for sure.
The Solo is easy and works great for a good number of draws. The Nano (how I set it up) gives me 2 or 3 absurdly thick plumes (often 1 load is good enough); and I'd say 3 loads total around the same as a Solo load.
Now that's efficiency!

edit- another thing about the Plenty is monkeying with the pad if you want smaller bowls, thing gets hot! Though the capability to do a 1g bowl of insanely thick vapor with buddies is nice.

I don't know if it's out of your budget but the vapexhale EVO is the single best vape I have used. In fact, it's the only vape that helped me to truly fuck combustion.

Next on my list is a mighty if this helps at all. I would take a close look at the enano if I were you also. You already have a portable you enjoy. The enano or the EVO are the home units for you. Just a matter of how much you want to spend.

Yup.... the Q-Tower never left me satisfied.

In terms of Vapor Strength.
E-Nano<EVO<Subliminator

An EVO will let you hit your bowl a few times, if you like that. I love 1 strong hit, the Sub has no replacements. Going to replace my Solo with a Mighty when the price drops a bit.

I'm honestly shocked by all the great reviews the Q gets.. I've made a homemade vape from a light bulb that produced better vapor..
I'm still stuck between a might/crafty, plenty, or enano.. I just really dont wanna have another Q experience

I can't believe I missed chiming in on this thread! (However, I'm really liking the animation below...)

EQ, V-Tower (bit less expensive, whip only), SSV, DBV.... and soon the LSV ;) .... Can all be made quite effective!

I seldom load a bowl with 0.3 grams, but if I had to it would probably be a Silver Surfer or a Volcano. You might want to look at the spherical wand. Check out the SSV thread, its lots of fun.

@rushncrush since you have invested in purchasing the EQ I strongly suggest checking out the EQ thread before giving up on the EQ. I have a fully charged Air with a spare charged battery & that was only used while I warmed up the EQ today :science:. TBH I had very similar feelings when I purchased mine as it did not seem to "work". Preheating & elbow packing is the absolute key to getting the most out of your EQ I discovered & from there it was cloud city.

Do you have a spare EQ elbow & a 18mm bong/bubbler? If so you can try it through water as that is the only way I use my EQ these days. The Air/Solo dry is great for a joint like sensation although it is also good through water but the EQ is a much heavier hitter in every single aspect when tuned correctly. @DDave can assist with what you need......

@Stevenski , finally. I can't believe everyone just jumped on the band wagon in bashing the eq. And just start recommending new vapes.

You have an eq, you may as well figure out how to use it. Many people on the eq thread are very satisfied with this machine. I would say that you are not using it right. There is obviously a leaning curve to almost every vape. Desktops are a different kettle of fish to portables.

Are you preheating all glass parts?
What temps are you using.?
How are you drawing?
I do not use the fan as It dilutes the vapour.
I could get massive hard hitting, breathtaking, milky clouds from the standard eq set up. @DDave now.
You can't just blame the machine, work on your technique some more.

There are better desktop vapes than the EQ on the market such as the Evo but only equivalents in the sub $200USD game (LSV, DBV, HA). It would be unfair to compare a $150 vape against one twice the price really.

Surely that is a matter of opinion. Just because something is more expensive, does not make it better.
I have read about problems with all vapes. Even the top end vapes. The eq seems to be one of the better machines from my amount of research. I looked into this for a months before I chose the eq. I don't like the temp control on the evo either.
