Source Orb Pen Vape

@vapohead don't quote me, as I don't have it yet, but I do think you can use either one of those with the Orb.

Check local vape shops for the Istick and Variable Voltage Ego's. The one by me had Isticks and a beevy of batteries, they were simply out of stock on things til Black Friday so I grabbed that Tesla above; I don't know how prevalent vaping is around you, but literally hordes of shops have sprung up around me. There is one I frequent that has typically been good to me, so that's why I went with the battery I did from them, but I am certain I could have found the istick had I driven a bit down the road. Still may grab it at some point when my normal shop gets it in stock.

I have a E-GO battery laying around, can I just order their beautiful heating chamber and the Source globe 4 kit and use it with that battery?

Also, where would be the best place to check for them 30W and power variable batteries?

my battery is like the one on the left

Ya they'll do , especially for the coiled attys .
You may want to get that other 30W for their Terras tho .

I'm really looking for the purest puff, still almost to combustion, but that's life...you just have to play with that line to feel alive ;)
Are their Terras all natural? and what about that all quartz part, anyone tried that ?

thank you for all your replies, this forum is great! I'm so happy I joined this

Can anyone give me Voltage Recommendations for the Quartz Dual Coil and the Ceramic Terra?

Just arrived in the mail today, got some nice clouds off the Quartz and tasted pretty good, but I'd like to try a "dab like" hit, where I vape it all in one inhale, and I'd want the temps to be a bit higher and don't want to fry my shit.

I loaded a nice sized dab in there though and have been getting clouds across the board :) Tasty and effective!

I have a joyetech 650 ego c twist that goes up to 4.8. Is that good enough for the terra? I just ordered the slim kit attachment, hoping I didn't make a mistake hearing some of these reviews. The concentrate I plan to use this for is ganja gold. It's a honey oil that's very sticky like "the clear" from harborside. I already wasted so much putting it in the empty carts that have wicks but they always burn out. Hoping someone can recommend the best setup. Thanks.

Just got my Orb 3 attachment for my vision spinner 2 today and I have to say I'm pretty disappointed. The packaging is professional looking but the quality of the atomizers is not what I expected. The ceramic dual coil heats up fine but the quartz dual coil is barely heating up at all on 4.8. The source Terra arrived with the donut slightly fallen in on one side and it does not seem to heat up on any voltage. The dry hitter barely vapes or combusts that well I thought it would be like a one hitter but it was weak too. I only dry fired all except the herb attachment so hopefully I can get replacements. I wish they had the option to get 4 single ceramic coil atomizers sent with the Orb instead of the variety. I like how single coil uses less energy and lights up way easier.

I also was utilizing the double ceramic the most in the kit, as I found it worked the best.

Try to get a 510 to Ego adapter, and some sort of box mod. Delivering 7.5 volts to my ceramic doughnut gets me big clouds and great taste.

Wow in same boat as you. Hated all the atomizers except the double ceramic. Always wondered how it got good reviews. The double ceramic one does taste really good though. The terra donut sucks with a VV you need a box mod like you said so I ordered one. Pisses me off that they would even sell it designed for the regular VV battery.

Yeah , unfortunately you're going to need a stronger battery to operate
their terras . But it's worth it tho , imo .

I had a terra atty , with an offset ceramic cup .
Adjusted the level with a toothpick and got it to work .
Maybe give that a try and see .

fwiw , I made all my purchases thru PV .
and they do sell the ceramic terras as a set .
I hope to try the Quartz terras soon ...

What temp or watts are you usin the terra on? Or do you let it sense the temp and that's it? I can't wait for the converter to get here so I can try it

I think a lot of these companies are inconsistent with quality. My double quartz is spaced neatly/wrapped perfect + thicker wire and the coils aren't touching each other yet it takes two 10 second pulses on highest voltage to get a dull orange. While my double ceramic looks like they jammed everything in there. The coils are touching eachother and its just sloppy looking but it heats up just fine in less than 10 seconds. What's a cheap but efficient battery that would run all of these atomizers better?

Joyetech evic mini VTC seems to be one of the best for the price.

Ive been using the source 2600 mah vv for months now and can get clouds and/or thin vapor anytime. Any reason I would absolutely need a vw 20-30w box mod?

preface ; I'm No electric wiz ...

I've never used a 2600 mah , but if you're having
success with the terras , then no is my guess .
The consensus is stronger battery for their terras .
I've only an I-kanger 15W myself , but will get a 25-30W
soon and see for myself .

Just ordered the Quartz terras from PV , so I can
see if the extra costs will be worth it over their ceramic terras .

Got it. Im going to need a new battery soon as the big rig is falling apart. I wanted to get a 20w vw but they are sold out on the site i use. Just fyi the quartz terras still use a ceramic donut iirc.

Has anyone received the Orb XL or any of the triple coil atomizers?
I know they were supposed to be shipped out by now and my cousin got a refund from sourcevapes this week for his order
I have been checking sourcevapes.com and they are still selling it so i wonder what is going on..

Two days from now and it will be a month since I ordered my Source Globe 4. They said it would take an extra 2-3 weeks for shipping but not a month just to ship. Especially when they are located a state above me lol.

Sorry to hear about these CS issues with the Parent company .
I thought I was just saving shipping costs and ship time with
ordering from PV . Would not be happy , if it were me .

So I finally got to try their Quartz atty .
You're correct @MuushuPork , they do use the same
ceramic donut , but their bowls are deeper . Which does help
with the splatters , so far . I'm guessing they use quartz wires
to do the heating , b/c I don't see any quartz inserts inside the atty .

I also got to try my friend's e-leaf 40W battery .
At 20W , I was blowing huge clouds upon exhales .
Except , I'm not sure if that will increase leakages
from too much high temps . More experimenting ...

Yeah but were those clouds harsh or smooth?

I ofeared two in November got an email saying they're shipping on the 15th of December. Checked with source to see if that date is still on last week, and got a reply saying they ship 21st

Waiting on some back ordered Quartz Source Terra's and a Globe -- "the item is still in backorder and stocks didn't fill in on the anticipated time, we are still waiting for updates from our warehouse manager regarding our backorder stocks." :/

Pairing this with an eVic VTC Mini that has not yet arrived either - but not quite sure about using the new "TCR" mode iwth a custom "temperature coefficient of resistance" setting, or if the "VT-Ti" mode is required to be able to specify a desired temperature? In TCR mode, the manual has suggested ranges of Nickel 600-700, NiFe 300-400, Titanium 300-400 etc and says the real coefficient is more like .0001 -> 1 instead of 1 -> 1000 if that is a clue. But it sort of sounds like in TCR mode, you can't then specify a desired temperature, just the TCR setting.. So maybe VT-Ti (variable temp / titanium mode) would be best to able to dial in a temperature?
