Why cant I post in the Vape forums?

Says I do not have privileges to post, and the button for new thread is not showing.

You might want to read the classified rules but here's the answer:

• You must be an actively contributing member with at least 60 days membership, 50 posts, and 25 "likes" received to create a thread in the Classifieds.
  • The system checks for eligibility at 20 minutes past each hour.
  • Members who make low-content posts for the sake of increasing their post count may lose the privilege of using the Classifieds section.

In the Plug-In and Portable Sections?

The mods do not allow multiple threads about a specific model. This is done intentionally to keep the boards streamlined and easy to navigate the forum.

I'm not sure what prerequisites are needed to post a new Thread in these sections.

What model are you wanting to post about?

You could post in its existing Thread, or post a specific question here, or in the "General Vaporizer Discussion" Thread "Vapor Related Not Model Specific"

You can't start a thread in the portable or plug-in sections. Only new vape models can have threads in those sections, and only staff members can start or move them there. If you have a new vape to post about, you post it in thread candidates. If your thread isn't on a new model, then it doesn't belong in thread candidates.
