So I'm probably getting the FC-Mod, just gotta decide, double showerhead or get a matrix too? Already have the 187 but want to get the FC-mp too so that'd be another Circ as well...

Seems like its just the bubbler with a fixed matrix, plus it has the removable mouthpiece for dry Evo and added hydratube... Apparently it can also be an ash catch too?

How does that bottom piece stay on though when in bubbler mode? No k-clip included (never used one of those before myself), and is it worth saving the $16 off the devasator if I don't get to have a showerhead?

Though again I guess I get showerhead with the hydratube and totals $77 vs $96 for two together.... Yeesh GAS got me again lol

OK, I pulled the trigger and ordered the GB-187-1 from Yingmin. I got the 60mm version w/ no logo. This is one of the newer/better 187 mobius type bubblers right?

Now for a new oil rig. Should I go ahead and get Steven's FC-710 or did I read about a better diffusion pump coming out?

I would like to give everyone a heads-up on some shady glass dealer. I went threw iOffer to get a new different glass rig. I made an offer to "clothingcn" and he acceppted (Oct 6) and placed my order. First issue, money was taken from my account but never registered as confirmed payed until I had to contact "clothingcn" 3 different times before I got confirmation (Oct 12). Secondly he sends me a tracking number that EMS can not track or find. After weeks of repeated messages he finally replied he would send another order out and that EMS must have lost it. (Meaning he would finally send my order out.) I know it takes time to process items from China but I've bought stuff from other dealers and never had these kind of issues. I finally get it yesterday and mind you it was supposed to be a male 14mm joint and guess what he sends me a 18mm male joint instead!!!! I checked the item description just to make sure my brain cell was reading it right and yep I got screwed... If your going to buy cheap glass from China go with more reputable dealers like Kathy0577, Delicate glass and hymanquartz01 at least they will answer all your questions and have always treated me right. This just reinforces my belief that instead of buying all these China 'knock-offs' that I should save my money and get a real nice glass design made in the US...:rockon:

Nothing wrong with getting American glass if you can afford it, but reliable Chinese vendors are pretty, well, reliable. :) Kathy, sunshine store, CCG (lately) and Steven are "fairly" consistent, but are also pretty good at making it right when things do fail. I am usually not comfortable ordering from a name we don't know, however.

I suppose I should add that not everyone has had the same experience or can recommend ANY chinese vendors, but my experience has been MOSTLY good. The deals make the risk worth it for me.

edit: meant to include yingmin5 in the list of known reliables...

Received my FC-710 from Ratchett today. This thing is AWESOME!!! Every dab I take, no matter how big, or hot(for the most part), is insanely smooth and tasty. Can't wait for my E-Nail to arrive, going to be an amazing experience with this rig.

I Received my FC Mod but it's quite defective I'd say.
The mouthpiece joint is bent too much towards the center resulting in the fact I can't connect a wide base vaporizer like the Evo, without the ash catcher.
I'm pretty sad and don't know if to ask a replacement or throw it in the garbage and get a hold of GAS for good.
The piece is functional but I think every single part was built independently with no guarantee it will work when put altogether.
The joints are loose and some vapor I think remains in the ash catcher because of some air leaking.
If I ask a replacement I'll probably get something worse, that's what I think, too.

I've been looking for protection for my bubbler, but as nice as those Pelican cases are, I just do not have the money right now. Well, tonight I have been in a stoner engineer mode in general, and my second engineering feat came about when it occurred to me that I have a smallish canvas messenger bag (with velcro closure) that I am not using for anything else and some old pillows. I folded one of the pillows in half and stuffed it completely into the bag:

When I push the D020-D in all the way (not pictured :p ) and close the bag, it's snug as a bug in a rug. :) An entire standard pillow is a pretty damned solid amount of padding.

If the joint holding the mouthpiece would have been more straight instead of being bent, I would be able to connect it directly. I still am, but at the last 2 millimeters if I tighten the connection I'll either break the evo or the bubbler's glass joint, so I don't even try. I recall I saw vids on yt and they can use the evo with just the main piece.

You're correct that piece is unacceptable. Break it, tell them it came that way. Then they'll have to replace it. I use my FCMOD with just the can and showerhead minus ashcatcher and matrix. It's awesome and one of my favorite go to setups. And yes everyone knows my vape is the EVO! Also my ashcatcher is crooked and causes the water to sit with a slight slant. It's still tolerable. You should be able to use the EVO with just the can

Damn, I was going to pull the trigger on the FC-mod, but I always hesitate when it comes to Steven. I appreciate everyone who worked with Steven to make awesome duplicates like the FC-710, but would be awesome if yingmin, ccg, or Sunshinestore took the advice of the FC community.

My previous purchases from Sunshinestore were way better quality.
An update on my fc-mod to Evo mating: if I get my Evo naked I can fit it on the bubbler.
But the dial has to aligned to the mouthpiece and the fit is a bit tight, heard as if I was screwing the Evo's 18mm plug to I think it's the last time I'll use this thing.
And aside from the hydratube, my last glass piece for a good while.

You could always rooster apparatus it. :\:shrug:

I do this with a lot of my Chinese glass. Just better on the EVO joint IMO.
