VapCapTap or more simply VapTap.

Alternatives: Poke N' Toke, Batcave, DynaStash, BatBank, DynaBank, VapTrap, DynaMiner (or DynaMine), Woody's Hoody, Woody Oney.

And oh, I got more where they came from. haha

Great question!

I forgot to mention to everyone here, the new design DynaStash or dugouts will accommodate all models of the VapCap! Woo Hoo. It took a little tweaking, but we figured out a way to do it. So to anyone who might be interested, these babies are available at a discount to everyone on this thread until Friday. $30 now, $40 after Friday. Just use the contribute to the cause option in the dynavap. Com shopping cart and add $30 to either an existing order or a new one. I don't know if anyone else has had an issue with payment on the Vapcap website, but I had the bad experience of making a payment that was declined due to my address not being the same as the one my card...except this wasn't true, I even got on the phone with the bank to make sure. However, somehow the payment went through, even though it was declined on the website. Long story short, Dynavap didn't accept my payment, but I don't have access to my money for 12 days. I asked my bank why this occured, and they informed me that it is a flaw in the websites payment system. Somehow, even though I was declined, I was assigned a number and that makes it so the bank has to take action, i.e. take the money out of my account and wait for approval from Dynavap. I'm not sure, but I'm pretty sure this is a flaw in Dynavap's payment system. I emailed George and he just said it had been declined. I can attest that there isn't anything wrong with my card because I made a payment to vapornation a couple days before without any address issue. The payment at vapornation simply went through without a problem. I hope that the issue on the Dynavap payment page will be fixed.

I tried really hard not to get a DugOut (or whatever we're gonna call it) but that was over when George made it work with the basic model. I carried one of this guys namesakes in my glove compartment for all of my adult life...

Just successfully ordered one on the website. No problem with my card...

George, have you settled on DynaStash?

I am looking into the card processing issue. I would kindly ask for some patience here as the credit processing companies move slow as we all remember from when I was trying to set up processing after PayPal decided to no longer be friendly. These companies don't work weekend either. I need to have this work, so everyone, please do let me know if you have any issues. An email is best so I can forward it directly to the company.

I was considering trying to bore out a bigger hole the length of the mouth piece on my current Dynavap Dugout to accommodate all sized mouth pieces but to be honest this thing is so damn pretty ive been too scared to try.

Doesn't the original come with a small container? Not beautiful wood- just a cover? It looks like that in the pictures.

Yes. As far as i am aware all vapcaps come in their own plastic container. If i recall, George said it also doubles as a cleaner for the vapcap as it is waterproof.

Some of us just go all soft in the knees when we see wood.

Edit- or maybe that's soft in the head...

Hello iamkrazy2,
Can you use the dugout to load the vapcap like you can with a traditional dugout and bat? Like pushing the open end into the stash and twist? Or do you have to use a different method. If so, what methods work best for you?

To be honest, never used it, my Beta VC does not fit inside it. Only the new ones will accommodate all VC's.

That said, it should work like a traditional dugout, yes. Thats the whole point of the cool dugout.

I think this was mentioned but would appreciate feedback. Does the wood dynavap have a stainless steel tube inside the body? 2 reasons I ask.

I have an eds Wong for my minivap, which came with same options (cocobola and Blackwood). Cocobola looks much nicer, but adds more of an earthy wood taste. I hear the Blackwood is more taste neutral.

1)I hope there is a tube inside (SS or titanium) because using just wood emits too much odor. I love my eds Wong, but if I leave it out, it can stink my room.

2) if there is no tube inside the wood, I will go with the Blackwood this time because I hear it's more flavor neutral.

It would be nice to pull out a SS tube from the wood dynavap for easy cleaning.

All of the VapCaps are designed with an internal tube "the condenser tube."
This tube is a very important design feature, as it changes the air and vapor flow path. In the original glass VapCap the condenser tube was glass. I tried incorporating the glass condenser into the Ti Woodies but after some thought and feed back, the glass just doesn't go with the wood. So yes the Ti Woodies will have a metal condenser. The first versions I release will be stainless steel and yes these do a great job at minimizing the wood flavor and they also keep almost all of the resin or residue from contacting the wood. In addition this all makes for a easy to use and easy to clean unit.

Just an update on my website ordering issues. This part was user error. When i tried again the next day I noticed that the 'ship to a different address' box was auto ticked. When i unticked this box, the info already completed was ok as the mandatory fields required were the alternative shipping address, and i could continue my order, however...

I have had the same issue with the billing address not being accepted/matching. I also confirmed the billing address is correct via my bank.

In my case, though. The payment did not go through AND there is no hold payment on my card, so no problems, and as noted already, @VapCap is looking into it.

Good luck with sorting this out. My money is ready when yo do.

Is there room in there for a third cavity to dump abv? Maybe Just slightly bigger than the bowl so you could tap it straight out. I guess if the lid swivels it may be difficult, but even at the bottom with a cork stopper or something.

It was my goal (please comment anyone that has been using one of the beta units) to produce a vape with extraction efficiency sufficient to eliminate the need to retain the ABV. Why not just extract everything you want out of it the first time? So hopefully the other stash will be not be needed.

Yeah, I don't bother saving vapcap ABV. It's typically cooked far enough to not bother saving IME.

Ok. Well that sounds good and would certainly simplify things, i guess. I do like to take things close to black at times so i can't complain about that goal
