Thanks @vapen00b...But I am not a dude!:) No problem, there's no way you could tell. That was kind of the idea...

Anyway, does anyone know if the downloads from the US website and the EU website are the same? I dl'ed the temp app from the US site but the firmware update is supposed to be on the EU site. So I dl'ed both, but they look identical. And there doesn't seem to be a folder that has the firmware update. Can anyone clarify for me?

Oh, I beg your pardon! So it's: Hey dudette! :)

The software is identical. Had the very same thing just yesterday!
It is commonly installed to your programs folder,
If you wanted to update the firmware, you needed to start the Advanced exe. There you see your FW version and enter the flash mode to update FW. Most recent one: v134
Enjoy! :)

WOW!
HOLY SHIT!
DAY-um!

This thing is the Real Thing!
OMG what a beautiful machine.
Look! I'm so medicated I'm writing like @ataxian!

Rockin' 330, 360 & 380 temps for now...My husband is an IT guy And he is blown away by how sophisticated it is.

And thanks, @tripwire, for the file path for the firmware, got it! But when I connect my ESV it tells me it already has v1.34. So I guess I don't even need to flash it. Serial number in the 1400s, Delrin mouthpiece with a screen that was so loose it literally fell out...

The amount of meds I used was pretty tiny considering how medicated I feel. The Vapor is so cool It doesn't hurt my throat, and I've had a major head cold/sinus infection for over a week. No combustion (so far anyway), likely due to all the schooling on draw speed from all the collective experience here on FC!

A little surprised how much battery I used-- in about a half hour it was down almost 50%. But I have had it plugged in to the PC about 20 minutes and I'm surprised how fast it has returned to almost full.

I feel like this is a match made in heaven! Just really wish it worked on my Macbook. Maybe this will finally push me over the edge to get at least OS X 10.8.4... ..

Nice to hear you got it goin! :)

Think you are already one step ahead with your result w/o combusting at higher temps than I use.
How do you manage your draws, fast/hard, full 8secs?
Did you stir or flip between hits? Using the stir attachment?

About the battery I had that same feeling, mine drained pretty quickly. But I'm in the learning process.

Enjoy your vape tank! :)

There is definitely a knack, reminds me of my MFLB but once you've dialled it in, it's a lot easier and is simply a case of 8 seconds and high.

I've definitely come close or even slightly combusted, but that has allowed me to know the limit. the limit to time / heat and also period before I need to stir / shake.

Stirring does usually work for me, however i do wish that there was some dial / cog on the outside that would allow me to rotate the chamber without opening. For as discreet as the lid is, it is a little difficult to remove, the magnets are almost too good.

I love this device now. I wish it had a longer lasting battery, and I wish it was easier to mix (and maybe adjust without a pc), but these are very small caveats. I think we are too hard on it because no other vape has that nailed either, we just expect this to be perfect because in all other ways it appears to be.

Definitely a fan of the company now and will support for all future products too. In fact if there are any new products coming / crowdsourcing needing backing etc, I wanna be first in line.

@Thevengeance what are your preferred settings and how's you ESV vaping style (draw speed & time)? Bottle cap?
Would love to know your habits to adapt and enrich my humble knowledge :)
Thank you:wave:

OK I'll ask what's the bottle cap everyone talks about. started reading the thread but didn't get too far yesterday.

It is a hack to get rid of the screw/screen combo. Remove the original screw and screen, take a suitable sized screen and bend into a concave shape. This is pressed into the cap, it stays in place by tucking the edge of the screen in around the rim of the lid. This eliminates the potential hotspot created by the screen retaining screw. Works like a charm for me, Good Luck.

Could maybe someone of the successful veteran ESV'ers make a short video of the heating coil when blown in the USB port? That'd be really greate. I checked mine like that and it seemed to glow only around a quarter to half of it, a lil like a "c".
My bottlecap screen (very fine mesh) has dark spots also only in a small area (see pics)... I guess that's exactly underneath where the coil is glowing (the most). So I'm wondering, if the coil is supposed to heat that unevenly?

I decided to change the bottlecap screen to a little coarser one - it's an Arizer Air domed screen forced to fit. (The regular double A battery was stronger) ;) Will give it a try later..

Or if some guys with sweet setups could post some close ups of their heating coil, that'd be great for comparison. :)

Appreciate your input guys. TIA!!

With stir attachment you can rotate the lid like a cog, turn a little so a corner pokes out, then you have a handle to turn more. Its just mixed results.

The lid will loosen up over time, or there are orange o rings as an accesory or extras that are looser. I have one of each for my two lids. Even the tighter one is still easily turable and removable now.

Usb battery pack for charging on the go is easy enough too, I never need it running on the old battery firmware even (my unit is one of the first 50).

@darkrom it was a @Vape Dr. idea, he posted some instructions about it. Some mod battery like an ego or something to bend screens around for shape, I don't have that so double a batteries work too.

Glad to see the new Elevapers having such great results!

AA batteries, I can definitely find those. Now I'm wondering, underdog screen, mighty screen, mighty OIL PAD in its place perhaps? Firefly screen? Firefly oil pad? Both would act as screens as well as oil pads for vaping concentrates. I just got something to do between activities lol.

I started out at the lowest temps and gradually moved it up till I got vapor. It seems to depend on the strain and how much moisture is in it. I just use a relatively fast draw for a little over the 8 seconds.

I also have the Air, the Summit and the E-nano. This creature is in a whole 'nother league. Perhaps I used so much battery so quickly because I'm used to portable session vapes, so out of habit I just kept hitting it multiple times. Gotta re-train myself now. And there is also the distinct possibility that I was just so excited at this marvel of modern science, I couldn't resist experimenting with temps and just playing with my new toy.

Hell yeah, that's 100% my story! So we can't be wrong - this thing is different to us, but it freakin kicks ass. :DI had a nice play just some minutes (or hours..? Is it that late already..anyway) with the ESV and as you can read and picture I am way beyond to what I call a nice conduction buzz after hitting it for 20 mins at low temps (arizer blue to white, maybe a little green). I'm in instant convection land - this time, I took a different road, took a short cut if you like - just under 8 secs draw in the beginning, more like 5,5-6, increase draw speed towards end of the draw, then go for 7,8,zip zap, zippy zappy....rtrtrtrtr, ding!:freak::science::argh::zombie::hmm::razz::tinfoil::mental::brow:Weeew, I def have arrived there! Man, strong effects... Had it at 305f, bottlecap, coil tilted just slightly towards sensor (moved it back a little, was a different angle before). Am getting a hang of it... This is a boom box!

Have a good time everyone!:peace:

As has been discussed prior, the Crafty/Mighty concentrate pads are a drop-in for the ESV. Try just a drop of oil on the top of the pad, ramp the heat and now your extract consumption can be done with the same machine you use for herb. Almost like they planned it that way.....

Well, while having had nice sessions yesterday - I always char/combust when trying to do a full 8 sec draw at some point. I was drawing pretty fast as I thought this would reduce the heat trying to avoid combustion. I just don't succeed, even tho I'm at 305f only. What more could I reduce or optimize to get this beast tamed. Pretty much think, there's only the coil again to change something. I'd be thankful of some of you guys could post some pics of your coil and setup (again), that works fine for you... It seems I can't get in under control.

Have a good Sunday everyone!

P.S.
If the stir tool acted like a heat sink, would it make sense to use that thing again, instead of bottlecap?
