:love:I love my E-Nano. I've been enjoying using it with concentrates lately. I think I might prefer it to traditional dabs.

I've been too lazy to go look for a concentrate pad so I've just been using mainly cotton. You can taste it a little but it's a subtle taste and not unpleasant as long as you don't set the temp too high.

My method is to first use as little cotton as necessary to hold the product. I make it into a flat disk, put the concentrate in the middle, fold over the edges, and smoosh it into a ball. Then I put the ball in a stem or gong and take one or two short hits. After that I use the E-Pick to flip the ball of cotton around 180°, so the part that was facing the screen in the stem/gong is now facing the heater. It should have a little dark spot on it, try to have that facing the heater.

The first couple of draws before flipping it melts it but pulls it back towards the screen. That's why I flip it, to get the concentrate as close to the heater as possible.

I've used some pretty gooey live resin wax and also some shatter with this method. The gooey stuff works well at 6.75-7 on my nano and the shatter works better at 7.25-7.5.

I have my screen pushed back a millimeter or two on all of my stems and gongs. I find this provides a more even extraction and consistent vapor production with less of that browning on top when using flowers.

I've discovered the E-Pick is a pretty useful vapor dab tool, I'm constantly finding new uses for it, it's every bit as versatile as the E-Nano.

While I absolutely love the efficiency and the power of the Nano, I can't help but miss the old fashioned laid back style session I've grown to love with marijuana. I guess it's because of my setup, but the Nano is a very active vape, with lots of stirring and moving about...a table is almost necessary. Sometimes I wish I could just pack something and be able to chief on it for a while with ease.

The Arizer Air is basically the only vape I own that can give me this type of session currently...but it isn't nearly the power hitter as the Nano. Guess you can't win em all, ha.

So I got my e nano a few days ago and all I can say is HOLY.FUCKING.SHIT. I've been combusting for over 20 years now so I assumed my tolerence was as high as it could possibly go. I was wrong. This thing absolutely knocked me on my ass like I was 15 again. Over the years I had forgot what it felt like to be high as I would smoke from the moment I woke up till I fell asleep so I guess I just felt "normal". Not only that but the amount of medicine consumed for me has been drastically cut in the last few days. I'm fairly dissapointed in myself for not discovering vaping earlier, as I likely would have saved 30-40k over my lifetime, but oh well, live and learn.

Not only that but in 2 days I have cut my cigarettes down from 15-20 a day to 6-7 without feeling much withdrawl, all thanks to the e nano. This along with not having smoked medicine in 2 days (strictly vaping) and I can already notice a huge improvement in my lungs. Also the tightness that was in my chest for years is quickly fading and that alone feels amazing.

My goals now will be to completely eliminate cigarettes from my life and to only vape my medicine. Likely gonna order a 2nd e nano now as a backup just incase. I also now need a portable and have narrowed my decision down to the hazev3, flowermate and the alfa. Though I'm sure with all the money I'll be saving soon I'll just end up getting all 3.

Welcome! I started vaping 3 days ago after smoking joints+cigs for 10 years daily. Have not touched a smoke since! And the highs are indeed like you're 15 again, very kiddy and no 'fog' in your head and once it wears off it just wears off, no groggy slow feeling and dry mouths and other nasty side effects I had for years. It's amazing, I can't believe not every weed user in the world vapes. I'm trying to convert all my friends now and the ones that tried the vape all loved it so far.

Set my nano up yesterday, did a stem first and at first and wasnt impressed(i think it wasnt hot enough yet), then i used the gong through my cheap bong - instant vapour clouds! very impressed!
cant wait to try a proper session later on.

The only downside for me at the moment is the inverter, i bought the 45w and gets very very hot, i see you guys talking about leaving the nano running, i could not leave it with this inverter - i would be worried about my house burning down. Are there any other options that dont get so hot? or would it be possible to source/build a UK cable that doesnt need the inverter?

Hi,
I too run a nano on a donwnstep converter: I have no heat problem, it get only lightly warm, but it is a 150w and if I remember 50w is the minimum required for nano.

I'm not sure about the E-Nano but I have a EQ and I barely get vapor but I get insanely stoned, don't let no vapor fool you

Try something a little more conducive to a session, like a JHook, a Gong on it, and then turn the dial down a little.. this is where a little more herb in the gong, and an easy draw, can make it last for quite a while... maybe not an hour, but a good, long session.

It really isn't necessary to stir all the time. The lower the heat, the less stirring. I rarely stir anymore.

Smart ... yes, pay more attention to the flavor, and the effects. Visible vapor is wasted medicine...

... fun, fun wasted medicine. ;)

I made it my mission from the beginning to minimize stirring. I find as you go up in temp you need to use a smaller load if you don't want to stir.

I find the most important factor is not tamping it down too much. I like a slight tamp for more dense vapor but if I tamp too hard the top of the cannabis traps a lot of heat and browns much faster than the rest. Again, the higher the temp the less you should tamp to avoid stirring.

Another great thing about using concentrates with the E-Nano is that it allows for much longer sessions without any stirring other than the initial flip of the cotton. You might not even need to flip with a concentrate pad.

Yeah, I don't have as much success at low temp (6.25, maybe lower) lowering the screen and leaving it untamped or otherwise loose; I usually tamp decently but not rock-hard, and have to stir. I use a nut pick or a nail tamp and just align it to the side of the bowl and spin; re-tamp, put heater back on. Matter of seconds.

I need to try to get better at very lightly tamped or untamped stuff and coarser grinds, but I get really agitated when I run a bowl and barely get anything, so I usually just deal with the stirring (and making sure everything is very finely powdered).

Speaking of which, I never really found a grinder that had some magic foolproof way to not crush seeds -- I know, those of you in many places or walks of life do not have to deal with reggie/mids - so I usually just break everything down by hand. I've gotten it down pretty good, and pick even the smallest stems out until it's a powdered consistency.

I'm sure there are plastic grinders, etc that if you use it in some particular way it probably won't crush the seeds, but I prefer my bud to not have stems either by the time I'm done. Also, with reggie/mids a lot of times there are immature seeds that would make it through. Even though it's not as harsh as smoking seeds/stems, I make sure there's nothing hard left whatsoever. The key is to roll all the stems so that all the bits of weed fall off, and it's very consistent.

With good bud, when I smoked, I used a one-hit type pinch bowl and would literally just snap a piece of bud off and shove it in, because it would burn slower. Not having really found that sweet spot with my Nano, I just powder down the good bud too.

If I'm feeling real hard up (it's been years) I will save the stems, and when I'm out, grind them up and vape them.

Hey! It's funny you say this..The other day I packed a GonG up, and used that as my stem instead of the regular stem. Sooo funny how much this resembles my days with the flight box, nice deep warmth entering the mouth and lungs, almost therapeutic. I was on 5.4, which isn't super low for me, and managed to get 5-7 hits without stirring (visible vapor easily with each hit), stirred, then achieved another 5-7 hits. Very nice. Very tasty. More session style.

In a little while, when I'm happily living on my own, I will invest in a J-Hook undoubtedly. I think it would be extremely fun to get an 18mm Inline Ashcatcher from DhGate. Not sure if people have seen these yet, but would be awesome to stick one of those on a Jhook and have an inline perc Jhook essentially. If someone has this setup, pleeaassee show! haha.

Eh, I guess so, but not especially more active than smoking a pipe.
That is true, I just feel like with a pipe packed and a lighter, I could sit on a couch for an hour and be set without having to touch anything, haha. (Although those days are long gone now, 6 months ago I made the switch).

I sure others have a good source also, but I'll recommend the Grav labs J from DankStop. Free shipping (Priority mail  ), comes with a Keck clip, and they have great customer service.

I have a bunch from my local Smoke Shop!
However I need to resupply my quiver.
I get a mix of 18mm and 14mm (JHOOKS) Sherlocks from dhgate.com for $20 bucks! (5)
The sunshine store I believe?

The 14mm GRAV I have however the (lss) is amazing.
Cannabis is wonderful and EGO is Kooky!
NANO all day through a water path I love!

My stuff cost very little!

I'm also interested in the jhook+bubbler setup.
What do you think about this one?

How does this jhook compare to the Grav Labs jhook?

Ermm..It looks like it gets rather skinny towards the top...might restrict airflow? I'm also not fond of that mouthpiece, but if that's enjoyable to you then go for it! I like a more traditional pipe feel, all personal preference.

OK, I am SO indecisive! I have had an Underdog and an E-Nano both in my cart all weekend and I can't decide WHICH ONE to pull the trigger on!
First off I like the fast heat-up times a lot on the Epic. Variable temp isn't much of an issue since you can add a $7 dimmer to the UD and have the same thing.
The only thing making me lean to the UD despite the 20 minute heat-up is the different (Better?) attachments and the fact that it comes with 4. I have heard great things about the NonGs and Nylon direct hit stems with them and they are what's pulling me to the UD even though I really want the E-Nano's 5 minute heat-up. So I have accepted that the nano will definitely cost more due to the attachment price. Can you suggest some great aftermarket stems ,NonGs, and GonGs that will make me forget about the UD's Nylon options. Will an Ed's work better than stock?
Which of the Epic attachments do you prefer? the adjustable or fixed direct, Adjustable or fixed GonG?
