Dr dabber is very portable, but requires constant fiddling, is incredibly delicate, and the fiberglass wick will burn. The first few hits you take with it are amazing, though, so enjoy those. The dr dabber works best when you prime the coil with a hit (melt it into the coil/wick) and then load another hit on that -- each hit should be the size of a small grain of rice. Hope your rosin tastes good!

Rosin tastes really good the first hits. :)
Sadly the whole experience of concentrates in a pen is a slight dissapointment. I struggle with the same things you describe, the loading hassle ruins the sneaky pen experience somewhat and while the herc seems to be the perfect device for loading a lot, it ruins the stealth factor.

I slowly get the hang of how to hit / when to reload the pen but I am dissapointed by the high the pen delivers. Comparing to a vaped nug in a herb device I need to use rosin from 2 nugs to get a high the same strength. Also the pen high is somewhat heady only compared to dabbing the same amount of rosin on a nail for full effects.

Will try to make some QWET in the near future, maybe it works better

I am going to try QWETing some Moroccan hash rosin, so that I can run it through pens and EJmix in ecigs as well. How does the Dabbler Light fare with the rosin, @horst ?

Maybe the Muad-Dib is the ultimate portable electric rosin device? Does anyone have any advice here?

The VapMan is GREAT with rosin, if you're down with the fire flaaame.

I just ordered the concentrate pads for the FireFly. Really looking forward to trying out those :brow:

Looking forward to your QWET experiements with rosin, seems to be the only option for vaping rosin with the dabber light since it gets pretty fast clogged with the unprocessed rosin.

Rosin in the dabber light works, but I need further experiments with it weather the build up residues on the coil are a problem or can be ignored.

Hello FC-Community,

after successful experiments with DIY rosin extract I am looking for a concentrate vape for my needs.
I can already vape my rosin on an oilpad in my Crafty or as a Dab with my Hammer but looking for a more discrete and maintenance free option for public events.

As a low-tolerance herb vaper I may not be the typical oil customer so I may have an exclusive wishful thinking. I am looking for a stealth replacement of 2g buds which I would typically vape in 10-20 sessions with any of my vapes. Concentrated to approx 0.3g of rosin I need a device which fits the whole mass and let me consume this in as much little puffs as possible. Ideally this device is cheaper then 100$ and needs no further attention till the concentrate is used

Been interested in the w9tech products I looked at their smallest Pen, the Vaporizer with KISS Mini, the O-Phos and the Omicron Lite. But they seem to be more made for single sessions and the concentrate needs to be repositioned after a few puffs? The tiny dimensions and cheap price of the vaporizer nearly got me ordering this thing blindly but the shipping doubles the costs so it needs to be worth it.
Also Dr Dabber Ghost Pen came in sight but seems to be outdated?
Dabstar has variable voltage but seems to be pretty unknown around here?
Anything hot and discrete that I didn't see? Never been into ecigs and the whole pen vape options are just to much to comprehend for me.

Also important is the amount of puffs till the 0.3g are finished. It doesn't fit my needs when the whole filling is done in 5 puffs, 100 puffs for the amount is more handable for me.
Maintenace is also a big point, it would be a drama if the pen is still half filled and I couldn't get it to work because I need to open and stir or rearrange something, thing needs to be useable in a nightly sandstorm from start to finish.
Leaks are also critical, but thats always the case I guess. Would be a bummer if I find my concentrate in my pants because the pen was too warm, pulled too hard or held wrong.

So please help me make a good decision close to my needs. Would be awesome if there is an option to load a pen with around 0.3g of concentrate and don't worry anymore until it's finished.

thanks,
horst

Bhang Pure Oil w battery meets everything you're looking for. Since using it I've ditched my Dr.Dabber and Vapor Bros. Nothing to fill and you can titrate according to your needs very easily.

Im sorry if this is the wrong thread but I'm desperate for an answer. Is it okay to use a VV AND VW combined for a disposable co2 cart? I know they say usually use 3.6 - 3.7 volts for those but nothing about watts. Is using 3.6 volts but cranking up the watts to max bad for the cart ? I've burnt carts out by using higher volts so I wanna make sure high watts are okay as I don't understand anything about watts and volts and how they matter with vaping. Basically I was deciding between a joyetech ego c twist or a Ecom and just wondering if high watts is neccesarry or not for pre filled carts? I just want the best clouds possible out those little carts without burning them out, please help. Thanks!

I thought you changed one or the other depending on resistance. I am curious too

IMHO you are looking for the thermovape cera. Sadly nothing at all has stepped up to fill the void that they left in the market, especially for concentrates. Everything else is load as you go or extremely high maintenance or some other "fatal flaw" in my book.

@horst

If you'd like to stretch-out your concentrate, consider thinning with a terpene solution by Concentrate Connoisseur or the like. I'm using CC, and I really like it. I just have it in a disposable, O.pen-style cart on an ecig battery.

I don't know if you work for them or something but I have the cera I bought back in the day and honestly I hate it. It's a big Doofy clunky vaporizer. Yes it works good but it's not meant for pre fill cartridges like I said so not sure why you would even suggest that

Yea I don't know, it's been impossible to find the answer to this question. I think VW is meant mainly for cloud chasing e juicers as I'm not sure pre filled carts can handle higher watts then what's set to the voltage but who the hell knows, I'm confused

I don't work for them (I wish). They are out of business btw. Its big yes, but it holds 1g of oil at a time roughly in my experience. At least half a gram of oil. That lasted me quite a bit. My suggestion for the cera was for the OP, who's thread I was replying to.

I didn't mean yours to add the pre-filled ecig tanks. I don't dabble in the cut oils or the pens, I never get acceptable vapor quality or flavor. Definitely related to the low quality materials in these carts.

It looks like an ESV with a concentrate pad would fit your requirements except for price.
