Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

Shit Snacks

Milaana. Lana. LANA. LANAAAA! (TM2/TP80/BAK/FW9)
Alright arrived smoothly with no signature required thanks to Jeff, Evo works as it should, power switch functions! Also smell is much much better out of the box this time, burn off running now.

Looks like my notch is at like 11:30 though, zero is actually near 6 o clock practically vertical down, while max seems to be about 4:30... Seems that it should still work fine though? EDIT big tasty clouds at 9:00...

Unfortunately the HydraTree isn't perfect again, may be even worse actually. Less hairline crack welds whatever, but there are still a couple. Also a couple of the slits are uneven, and more of the arms themselves as well, many hang much lower. Perc might be taller too, and mouthpiece smaller, not as flared. All in all seems works again, but still not the flawless quality you expect for this price...

Sent Jeff an update with more crappy pics, outlined the problem areas in blue this time. I can post em here if anyone is interested. Hopefully we can sort it out, as its such a lovely piece, would like it to be perfect. But in the meantime, full steam ahead on testing!

I ordered some half inch diameter test tube cleaning brushes online to clean the ELBs and am incredibly disappointed with what arrived. They are giant brushes with huge bristles and a bunch of spiky bristles on top that would work well for cleaning a test tube but not so much with an ELB. Does anyone have a link (or links) to some really good half inch diameter brushes that work great for cleaning ELBs? Ideally with no bushy head of bristles on top? I use a tiny hummingbird feeder brush for now but they only do an ok job and they wear out quickly.

tried that, these particular brushes just suck for this purpose. They are too big, bristles are too long and too frail.

aj0125,
Is there a way to use the VapeXnails without leaving the black residue sitting at the bottom of the tube? Is this just cause i have poor quality wax (i think its good quality, but illegal state so idk)?

I brought my EVO to a buddy's house who only smokes wax, and he fell in love with vaporizing dabs last night. He literally takes one hit, looks up at me, and asks, "How much did you say this costs?".

I wound up educating him about his options and actually recommended he buy the VB2 instead of the EVO since he doesnt use flowers and the VB2 is supposed to be top of the line for wax.

But anyway, he was put off by the EVO because of the black residue it leaves behind on bigger dabs and the inability to take a dab and have a purely fresh hit each and every time (which the VB2 can provide given that it essentially cleans itself in between hits), so i was wondering if there was a way or if it was just my wax and/or bad technique in using the vape.

I use a butane torch being only a little careful to gradually heat it up. Cleans it completely. Invert nail on s long nail using my hydratube stand.

Can report I'm defiantly preferring the Quartz nails. If for nothing else, the fact they are at least a full cm longer and a couple mm fatter, giving a little more restriction to the draw and more even vaporisation.

I prefer the shape on the bottom and believe it is conducive to quicker burn off of the black ring and again, more even vaporisation.

If flavour is affected at all I do not believe it to be due to surface but more improvements in general shape and design of the nail

Bummer you got another bad piece of glass, complete with an advance disclaimer/warning no less !

Also it seems like there's been some turnover in the evo dial-installation department:rofl:?

It does seem that these are calibrated far differently since I frequented this thread back before the vxn was introduced; I'm guessing that this is the reason. More versatile, but it's easier to combust flowers now?

My dial is at 11 but its not really a big deal now that I know. Before I was using the noon setting, so as long as I know its 11 for me now its not a problem (getting more flavor at 11 now and still a pretty complete vaporization).

Also, I had been running my EVO up to as high as 2 oclock and was not able to combust flowers.

Hi mate, I vape rosin in mine, which is really clean but I still get the black residue. After a dab, I turn the Evo up to full with the nail still in for a few mins and it burns off the residue. For multi-dab sessions, you might want to consider getting some more nails as they take a while to cool down.

I had to pay 13 % Canadian " Harmony " Taxes both times .
When I purchased the EVO thru MassDrop and
when I bought the Hydratree recently . But I had to pay
$ 44 for Fedex shipping from VXH . I thought I read only
$ 25 for some tho ... idk why that is .

I still want the Hydrabomb . :)

Hey FC,
So I filmed another nice session with the EVO and some Candy Kush Kief! Every session with it is so awesome because it's so good at delivering intense flavor... I know you all know what I'm talking about hahaha

Nice video. Is that a modded EQ bowl? I use the same myself, I think I got the idea from this thread. In fact it may have been you that gave me the idea.

Lucky f*cker being able to get medicated legally, we still have draconian laws re cannabis in the UK.

Nice video dude. Just a suggestion though, I think if you used the stock ELB's you would get way better vapor production and faster from your first hit. The chamber you're using is too far away from the heat source of the bottom part of the bamboo. Also there is less air going through your material as it is soo tightly packed.

The bottom of the stock ELB's touch the bottom of the bamboo for this reason I believe. In the same piece you're using there the D020 I believe -I have weaker flower I get better vapor production and quicker then you do in any of of your two vids you have posted on the same temperature .

Sorry if this is coming of as a douchey attack it really isn't just a suggestion. I hope this made sense and did not offend.

Assuming the 12:00 position is where the dial sits. I saw an earlier post that said 12:00 was around 350 degrees.

Is there any other info on other times and temps? Or is it just about finding your sweet spots
