I went from my E-Nano to an LSV. Used it for a while - nice vape, low drag. But it's freaking massive.

These days I save the LSV for my friends who claim vaporizers don't work (I load up 1.0G in the dry wand and preheat the LSV and let them take a lungbusting rip with the dry wand

Personally, after using the LSV for a few weeks, I switched back to my E-Nano for solo use. The nano is just so much smaller and efficient for my needs (yes the LSV can be super efficient with micro loading, but I didn't like that method as much as using my Nano)

Wonderful response @Ratchett . This is basically word for word what I would have expected if I were to buy an LSV. 1G!? Jesus! That's like a vape blunt!
I'm currently in dorms and so the E-Nano is absolutely perfect for me in this little room, but I'm imagining once I get my own place I'll enjoy a nice full session style plug in instead of just a few one hitters so I can have friends over. Figured the EQ first, then the HA 2.2, but I'm pretty sure the LSV is a harder hitter than both. Plus...those cosmetic seconds for $140 are soooo hard to turn down. Nano seems better connector to water, but the wand with the LSV seems soo enjoyable...except for the size, hahaha.
Thanks again

I go back and forth between a log (HI/UD) and LSV with tiny loads in an 18mm m/m and theyre all pretty great through a bubbler. I havent looked at another vape since i got an LSV. I just don't feel the need for VAS anymore. Since I am only getting a couple hits per session, theyre all very tasty.

I would have to agree to extent. The LSV is a hard hitting vape and between it and a UD I don't really feel the need for Desktop vape.

For me the LSV has induced VAS though. I'm searching for a portable that hits as hard and is as wide open as the LSV is! I hope the ZION is it!

Awesome guys, love the responses. I see you feel my vas vibe haha.
Anyone ever played with the LSV and the SSV? SSV looks like it hits hard af and was wondering about the comparison. SSV is sooo old, can't believe videos look as good as they do.

I use them both. The heating elements are identical. Main difference is using a whip instead of an all glass vapor path. Other than that, not a lot of difference. I will say the LSV can be a little awkward to work with. It's a pretty big handheld and the aluminum can get hot if you crank it up. But there's ways to mitigate that.

I've used my LSV daily for about a year and a half now. It's my first and only vaporizer thus far.

I bought it specifically to use with a bong so I could emulate the act of smoking. I've only used the transfer wand a handful of times.
It's made the transition from combusting to vaping effortless.

Much love to the LSV for showing me the magic of vapor. No more coughing fits, excess flem or smelly smoke. Just pure sweet vapor filled with cannabinoids and terpenes.

How bad are the negatives with this vape? The hot handle, misaligned heater, large size, always having a soldering iron on basically, lol...does it catch up to you or are they basically all mitigated. I'm worried about the hot handle mostly, and the fact that you have this heater almost exposed on whatever you place it on. Seems almost dangerous? (I'm sure they've secured it pretty well though I imagine?)

The only complaint I have about the vape is it's larger size, and the fact the cord comes out the bottom (but it's a REALLY long cord). Look up the measurements for the vape, and compare that to the Nano, you'll see what I mean.

The heater cover is enclosed in heavy metal (I think it's aluminum) and it only gets hot if you really crank it up. I am conscientious about turning the heat down when I'm not using it. It returns to temp in a couple minutes. Once you've used it a couple times the size isn't a big issue, at least not for me. It's probably the most versatile vaporizer I own, and I don't see any reason not to get one. Like @lwien, I haven't even looked at acquiring another vape since I got an LSV (although I did buy another LSV).

I only had two negative comments and both concerns were easily corrected. The heat issue is an individual to individual concern, my Lady doesn’t get along with the heat so part of the LSV got a partial cord wrap for insulation. The second comment concerns the original heater cover, the base of it was unevenly finished so the heater cover was always contacting the heating element. The final solution was to just replace the heating cover. There are a couple of other things to consider, first being the LSV really lends itself to re-rigging the airway so you may need to look at a few adapters and some silicone hose to exploit those options. Second the LSV gets along better with a good stand so it doesn’t roll around as much and you can reorient it a bit.

Thank you so much for the responses!
Anyone have any comments on the heatup time? From cold...and also while just changing temps that are already hot. Thanks!

It's a little hard to tell since theres no temperature readout, but I'd estimate around 5 minutes from cold to hot and a couple minutes or less to adjust to temp

I use two different heat settings all depending on if I'm vaping through the wand or vaping through glass using an M2M adapter with a Q basket. When using the wand, the bud is further from the heating element so I set my temp at 2:00 and it take 4 minutes to get there from cold. When I'm going through glass, the bud is closer to the heating element so I set my temp at 11:00 and it takes 3 minutes get there from a cold start.

LOTS of variables here to consider though. How fine or course is your grind? How moist or dry is your bud? How much do you load up the bowl. Do you pack it or is it loose? How far is the heating element pulled out from the base of the LSV? How big is the hole in the heater cover? How is the knob calibrated? How much voltage are you seeing out of the AC outlet?

The LSV Will be in my collection one day, simply because I want to have all 3 "Golden Child" vaporizers 7th Floor has released.

It is crazy to think they released the SSV almost 12 years now? I'm pretty sure Higher Elevations Masterpiece Productions (7th Floor Head Shop, and where all custom glass is blown.) still has one of the very first units on display that they turn on every morning and turn off at night.

The VAS is crazy....
Just 5 months ago, I would see everybody's sigs with Vapes totaling over 1-2-3-5 thousand dollars.... I thought to myself...

Damn.... Wtf do you need 15 Vapes? But it is crystal clear now.

I need a couple different Vapor Signatures via Desktop and a solid portable, but I'll be damned ... Vapes like the Zion, Firewood, Haze MiniVap... Ugh:bang:

VAS is the only negative thing I can think of regarding FC.Com.

As of right now; I'm satisfied with my collection, the need for a portable was a necessity, obtained...so I should be good to go?????

I need to start playing the Lottery.

Hello everyone,

I've been using this glass and I can highly recommend it as it hits great and looks nice with the LSV on the top, because the diameter of the blubber matches the LSV perfectly, but I'm looking for something taller at least 13" or 35cm. I've found this which looks tall but doesn't say how tall and looks like it comes with a plastic tube extension as well, but no mention of it in the description, and also found this one which is definitely tall, but I not sure it can be used without the ash catcher. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with these or can recommend something else tall enough for my needs. Thanks!

Hello all, haven't used my LSV in maybe a year and I miss it. I need a new heater cover due to it breaking(for the 3rd time), was wondering if there is any coupon codes floating around for the LSV site, basically is gonna be 40ish for that part which is kind of ridiculous in my opinion. If not its fine, ill bite the bullet. Thanks in advance.
