@MinnBobber a Evo dry mouthpiece on a mV? woah......
so the @Oregonglassblower one is the one in the left of your middle pic?

The middle picture, left side is the famous/infamous Delrin adapter (the "Dong") :)

The OGB glass mouthpiece is the third picture. It's similar to the VXL EVO dry mouthpiece but he will customize it---- what length you want, what kind of bend in it, what kind of mouthpiece, etc

Note: I do mix it up and use a VXL hydratube with the miniVAP and it kicks cannabinoid ass........

@Oregonglassblower makes quality pieces. I got several of his glass pieces (different angles etc) to experiment with and give to some "vapers in need" here

Apologies, didnt realize OGB wasnt making those minivap adapters. Also didnt realize it wasnt a evo mouthpiece.
Your delrin adapter looks damn nice though.

Mate the Hermes glass adapter with the ratchett song and they work a treat.. Will support a hydratube with battery or mains use. Will support itself inverted with mains.. But not so sturdily inverted with just the battery.

I didn't realize Hermes made a glass adapter?

Yeah they do. It's a 14mm GonG male connection.

This is the other side..

And yes.. That is a delicious lump
of golden-yellow MV reclaim.
Mains AC inversion. I use a reducer to mate to my water tool. Unless I use my fbomb.. uninverted 14 mm works fine on its own(without reducer/expander.

Can anyone tell me if the Herbie will fit in the large Minivap carrying case?
...............................................................................
No, the Herbie does not totally fit into the miniVAP carrying case.
I only know of the standard size miniVAP carrying case , that's what I have. I don't think Hermes also makes a large case---but someone jump in if you know of such.

The Herbie does partially fit into the case, but the top does not zip closed then. If you place the narrow Herbie width into the case, with the long Herbie dimension up, it fits and extends even with the miniVAP case "top" which now extends staright up. The mV case top/ zippered fabric sticks straight up and covers one side of the Herbie instead of zipping shut. That leaves one portion of the Herbie unprotected.

So, 3/4 coverage with this open faced setup.

I come to this thread with deep despair and a broken man..i have just broken my 2nd minivap lid..that damn little nipple on top is the weak point of this whole design..i couldnt use mine without my eds wong so i guess it is my fault but i dont have a dong..lol..so here i sit either gonna put 50 out there for another one but it will hold same fate or do i post both of my glass and teflon core up for sale until hermes decides to fix these issues on this 600 dollar beast..i love this baby and it breaks my heart to have to just stare at it..i have had my back and forth love affair with it but broken lids are tainting that right now.

I know how you feel with Ed's WonG. I use it all the time with the j-hook from @stickstones. I'm so careful with it knowing what happened to one of my lids, and what just happened to another one of yours. I've made sure this time around that I never twist it on (it's rarely off just so as not to stress the nipple) and make sure it's never put on so it's flush with the top of the lid. I leave about a 1/16" gap. The nipple has a bit of a flare to it I think, and I think that's what caused the demise of my old lid, forcing it flush and twisting it on. So far so good....it's been about six weeks or more with my new 'method' as where originally my old 'method' led to the lids demise within days.

Don't abandon your 'baby', or 'babies' in your case, over this. I agree though, time for Hermes to modify/accessorize their lid to accommodate things like Ed's WonG.

Don't despair as the mV is the world's most versatile vape IMO.
I use it 100 different ways and just went to my parts bin for your issue---now 101 ways :)
I assume you have the stock "flexicone plus", the one-piece whip and silicone cap?
And.....this combo appears that it would work with a broken nipple on your cover.
If you can live with a whip/ Ed's wong combo, here you go : :)

I, obviously, have basket pulled down to show it better in picture. In real life, it snugs up into cover and appears it would do so with a broken cover nipple.

But I like it!
@MinnBobber Thanks for saving me from posting a pic, but thats how mine is together now. I'm close to JBWing male glass piece to the lid, but haven't quite got there yet...

The thing that's scary about JB Weld is that it's so...PERMANENT. OK if you are sure that's how you always want to use it.
I'm workin' on design for Ed's Wong where the flexicone module snaps in and you'd use directly into the chamber (no cover) . Get that weak nipple/Wong connection removed entirely. That's a near future option.

Yeah I've got other ways to use it..and I use the Mflb whip with it..and many others..I really like using it inverted with my glass but with just the basket and using the mv like the lsv I don't seem to get good heat or seal or something..

@subway13029 , so you use it exactly like this:
mVbskion.jpg

And then invert mV onto the basket?

Mine works fantastic like this.
Does it look/feel like you're getting a tight seal (glass to flexicone and flexicone to mv)?

Does it seal in 14 or 18 mm?
...................................................

Seals into 14 mm Female bubbler. My bubbler is 18 mm so I insert a 18-14 adapter and it's good to go.

It's the most direct way to connect, no mV cover, no whip, no Song, no Gong, no Dong, ya can't go Wrong.... :)
The inverted mV does not stand by itself when inverted, but that's not at all an issue/negative for me.

Yup. When I hit my MV through water, that's my exact set-up as well. Same bubbler as a matter of fact.

Sounds like you need to try harder to get a delrin from me, because they work with it regardless of the nipple!
