What are thoughts on the dhgate hydratube made by stevenlmz?

There are 2 youtube videos. The 1st seems larger in lenth. The 2nd which is the actual peice for sale seems smaller/shorter which I like but it looks like the function and bubbling of the perculator is uneven (look under ufo perc)

Do you think this is because of the size change? Or because of the such small water amount he uses?

Maybe I am just paying too much attention?

Yes, those are for vaping but the dome you broke is not.

Those roasting tubes are male 14mm joints, same as the piece you bought. The dome wasn't meant to be used to mate or adapt the bong to those roasting tubes. You need a 14mm female to 14mm female adapter.

OK I found a hand made one. I actually will now be using this http://dankstop.com/glass-bubblers/...erc-bubbler-with-detachable-helix-mouthpiece/. Does it come with the adapters I need or do I still need the same new 14 mm with my new piece too?

Yeah that has a female joint on it..not sure about it being handmade??its a production grav lab piece but looks fine..and it will mate with your gongs and your nongs..just make sure if its 14 or 18 mm..

I bought this too for the Grace Glass and for the Grav Lab if needed. https://glassprodigy.com/products/14mm-14mm-female-glass-glass-transition This was the female to female I thought was handmade.

I make sure everything I have is 14mm. I like small vaporizers and bubblers and almost everything for the Underdog for instance (one of my two go to's) is 14mm. Of course I'm sure they make smaller 18mm glass too.

You wont need that afapter for the grav lab piece but its good to have all of the adapter and spares you can because once you get more glass...not if but once you do..lol..you can come up with all kinds of connections and combo bongs..lol

Well it will be good to have for the Grace Glass and other future glass pieces. Thanks for all the info to a newbie on vaping with glass and really knowing about glass parts, etc.

So on my new one, which will give me better vapor? The Helix mouthpiece or the straight?

It seems to me it's also a bit loose on the joint, if you see the pic with the piece on top of the Hydratube. HT female joint seems a bit too wide but hopefully it's just the pic.

I'll take an 80% discount for assuming it may be possibly loose. I can't stand the lack of differentiation between artistic and tool glass. Fuck yah bottom opening glass

I'm really hoping it looks like that cause it looks like a sweet piece, the link didn't work for me but I think I know what rig you're talking about. Kathy sells one that looks like this but not nearly as nice. I'll post pics when I get it

looks like a @chtglass klien, i found a klien that looks identical on his instagram page from 6 weeks ago although it wasnt that exact picture just a video.

Wow it's literally the same piece!! Might be a tiny bit different but nearly 99.99% identical. I wonder if they stole the pictures from him. Im hoping it still looks like that when I get it, doesn't appear to be a hard piece to knock off

Well that's different from an ftk, but if you look at the non stolen pix (the 2 at the end with no pelican case) it looks less impressive

I was looking at that female GG joint and it looks deep. Not sure there is a good connection for lets say an EVO. But an Arizer Solo with Gong would clear it fine.

Edit: now that I look at it, you're right, in the video it looks like the joint is too wide causing the male end to have to go deeper. (Lol)

I saw this by a couple different sellers. Is it just me, or does this really not look like it will work as a recycler? It's like it was designed by someone who has no concept of function (not that I am an expert. I could be wrong.)

Only last two pictures seem legit. If you look closely you can see the Showerhead is a lot smaller in those pictures, and also the wholes seem to be placed differently... I would be careful with that one...
