What's Going On?
Been seeing a bunch of posts lately for X-Box/PS3 gamers, anyone play on the PC anymore? I find consoles are harder for me to play shooters on, and every once in a while RPG's aren't bad to play. I was just wonderin' if there were any of you out there.
Yes, I cracked and bought CoD:MW2 for the PC even without the dedicated servers, wasn't such a big deal for me. Hook my comp to my 62" flat screen and play just like the console, with easier, in my opinion, controls.
Got loads of other games if anyone else has anything, post it up.

I know what you mean, I was by no means the worst I know of though, although I did make it to level 70 and my guild would down BWL and AQ40 and parts of Naxx weekly, never got to see end game level 70 raids so I quit.lwien said:Was a WoW addict. Man, talk about a time eater.

.To you Aero, I am not sure by what you mean for CoD on any servers but if you are referring to CoD on mac, I would not know.
Anyone still hit up old school, like War III and the expansion War III: TFT? Those are easy fun time wasting games that can be played with a group of stoned people

Im a PC gamer. I never play on consoles anymore. Not sure why, they just don't appeal to me anymore.
I've played Dungeons and dragons online on the european servers since it came out of beta nearly 4 years ago.
I relocated to the US servers a few months back, and the population is exploding as it's now 'free to play'. It's not really, well you could be completely free to play, but it gets much harder to get groups and enough experience points to level at higher levels with the quests that are free.
Anyway the game imo is really good.
I'm also trying to get into The Witcher rpg but not enough time to spend on it atm.
I am hearing really good things about Dragon Age which came out recently, will be the next thing for me to check out. It's made by the people who did Baldur's Gate.

Sorry if my first post was misleading, but I am not playing on a cracked CoD game, I bought the game. The post was meant to read along the lines of, "I cracked [under pressure] and went out and bought the game even though it doesn't have dedicated servers." Sorry for the confusion if that was again what you are referring to.

If you are not sure why consoles do not appeal to you anymore, let me put this into your mind.
The consoles are what, 5-6 years old tech, when did you get your gaming computer? Most likely more recently with way better tech, better graphics, better sound cards, better proccessing power, it is not even compairable anymore.
Sadly on my budget I am locked down on my limited edition red elite (hah, traded a broken bong for it (the one I have on youtube search Gear Ice bong)) and my ps3 as my computer is aging and I can`t afford a gaming computer.

Mark i'm not dissing consoles. I just prefer playing RPG's with a keyboard and mouse. Yes atm I am lucky enough to be on a newish gaming laptop which i absolutely adore playing on. However I battled for years on something that really was not suitable for playing games on, as a lot of people in the MMO world do. It was like playing in pea soup, and during the main fights i got to see a slide show effect.Mark said:

TF2 is where it's at for this old school FPS junkie. Best FPS since ut99 imo... gameplay, originality, replay value and skill ceiling are tops. Arguably the most critically acclaimed FPS of all time when you consider its score on metacritic doesn't take into consideration any of the 20 odd major updates. Another game I play is Fallout 3. But that's getting played on my Xbox 360. In the past I played a lot of wargames (Steel Panthers, Age of Rifles, Starfleet Command, World at War, and many others). I've pretty much stopped playing new games since most aren't turn based and thats what I like (I'm an old board gamer). I do like games released by Matrix (www.matrixgames.com), and usually play them inside of Parallels/WinXP. I'vev got an iMac, and a Macbook Pro 17 (for my old eyes).
I haven't even used the 9600m GT graphics card but am still using the 9400 'shared' graphics adapter.
The only game I would like to play but haven't is Empire: Total War. I'd have to bootcamp if I wanted to play this game though, but really feel too lazy to install another partition on any of my Macs.

I'm a pc player, right now i'm playing modern warfare2. the only other games i've ever played was the first mw and moh [allied invasion]. can't play when i'm baked though. lol. i do enjoy watching others play, while i'm baked!

walvapor, I understand the not being able to play vaked, i don't know if it is for the same reasons, but I panic when someone starts shooting at me and I am high. I litterally freak out, makes it fun sometimes though haha.
