It seems different people have different experiences. I get good clouds from my medicinal MJ, myself but Ive heard others say that they dont get good clouds. I do most of my vaping through a bubbler so I can see the vape quite easily. Ive heard the same thing regarding the Mighty as well so all I can tell you is that it works for me.

Vapor concierge
Hello! A couple of days ago I noticed the haze v.3 has been released. Has anyone tried packing it with herbs other than mj/oil (like tea, lavender, damiana, ect.) Wanting to know how the experience was (clouds/vapor, taste)? Tried getting clouds out of the mighty, and it didn't really work to well, taste was good until I cranked it up to try and pull some vapor, which was practically nothing. so I'm looking for something else, or another herb that makes lots of vapor.

I've never gotten clouds from any other herbs I've tried in any vape (not that I've tried it a lot).

I always get great vapor production from the Haze no matter what I enjoy and how I decide to vaporize from it.

As for the word (clouds) and the reference to it. I've notice that most who use it. And I mean no harm here...are new to vaporizing herb or are transitioning from e-juicer ;) devices.

The term has it's roots deeply planted in the e-cig/cloud competing-sponsored world. Thus the term becoming popularized. Clouds.

Where people build better wicks and elements on their own devices. Then along with that the big white puffs are mostly attributed to the solutions that hold/bind the flavor & nicotine together so it can be vaporized. You know the vg or pg glycerine based solutions. Those add to the overall visually produced vapor one is able to see.

When a person does a dab from a rig, vaporizer or vaporizes herb or concentrates. Comparable levels to those huge dense white thick clouds will never be reached. Just based on the two totally different sciences/processes alone.

Now however that does not mean one cannot attain mind blowing and huge billowing vapor hits/trails when it comes to vaporizing. :brow:

Sometimes I think back to all of the things I learned while on the combustion side of the lifestyle. Like the terms I first carried over to the world of vaporizing herbs and concentrates. Yeah, I was new at one point too. :myday: Only later to happily learn more about what it is all about here on the website.

I know many of us truly embrace the idea and reality of what it means to fuck combustion and carry on. I feel it's important to help out our new members no matter what the thread. So please forgive me if I seem to have went off topic. But it does all apply to what we do here and are about on FC. :smug:

I still learn many new things here while reading on all that is known as FC and enjoy doing so too. I encourage you all to use the site. We love our members. Now it is time for a Haze mission. It will be known as, Operation HazyEye! I'm out.

My month old v3 warranty replacement wasnt producing quality vapor on the white circle oven. The v3 no longer switches the air path. The switch works, heating the left or right oven, but blowing into the mouthpiece, regardless of switch position, the air is always coming out of the "black circle" oven. During the cleaning, bits of black plastic fragments were stuck onto a q-tip. @scottg402 please advise as i read on another forum, that a guy also found bits of plastic coming from the air path. I already sent email to sales@haze. As I am writing this, scott has already replied to my email and I will register and request rma. Thanks

As far as visable vapor or clouds, I've been even able to see them on a tincture slightly on level 2. With or without water, visable clouds are not a problem at all.

Inhaling slower tends to help me produce larger clouds if I am trying. Lavender is an alright herb if you are looking for clouds and flavor. And sometimes I think gun powder green tea is nice, the only problem is it does not produce large clouds but, can be nice to mix with other stuff for flavor.

Edit: I also recommend trying new herbs in the cans because they are much easier to clean if you over cook them by accident.

@xsourcex I had the same problem. My haze is in for warranty work. I hope this isn't going to be a major issue with a great vaporizer.

We have seen some isolated instances of this. We are analyzing them for root cause, repairing them and sending them back. Most of these issues we have seen in the past has to do with improper maintenance (particularly with concentrates). I sent out cleaning instructions a few weeks back and we are going to be producing another video to help (hopefully tomorrow). When it is all done I will post here.

So I have a few questions..
1. Has anyone tried mixing ground MJ herbs with any type of cannabis oil (CBD or THC) with the oil canister supplied that comes in the box with the Haze V3?

I am purchasing this model soon and I'm confident it will work well with just herb but I saw somewhere else posted that they dropped some CBD oil on top of the ground herb in one of the types of canisters and they said that it produced better draws and felt a noticeable difference in the effects felt afterwards.

2. Would the canisters that come boxed with the HazeV3 even be compatible to use with herb and oil mixed?

silly question I'm sure but I don't want to drop 300+ on it and not know as much about it as possible.

3. This question I guess could go somewhere else but wth. What are some of your guys favorite or simplest uses for ABV bud?

I don't really have the ability at the current residence to smell up the place cooking for a long period of time with it or cooking a large amount at once so I was trying to go along the lines of mixing it with my coffee, tea, etc something along those lines.

Thanks!

I'm having a similar problem with my V3 although the switch works but the hole leading to the white oven isn't lining up. No black bits though I did have that happen when my V2.5 expired. Haze will make things right but until then it's time to put the black oven to work.

How many V3 owners are spliffing it with nic juice in one tank and herb in the other?
Can you operate it with only one tank inserted?

If you are going to use a herb bed with the oil, you don't really need a pad unless there is loose liquid. I would put a bed of dry MJ at the bottom The can's will let you put anything mary jane related in them except food! You can mix and match, put anything together that will fit in there. They are really terrific and I have not had any leaking or problems like that at all.

With the oil alone is when you use the cotton, but I personally prefer a SS pad that you cut up to fill the Haze can, most vapor stores carry therm

Only one tank works at a time, you can just have the other one ready to go.

Which canister in your opinion would work best when mixing ground herb and a oil? I noticed it comes with 3 different types.

I didnt realize you cant use both tanks at once but i'm still interested in getting a haze regardless. how is it with low temps from people who have used other vapes in its price class and is there an easy way to adapt to 18mm?

edit: Can someone inform me if the XL batteries are normal 3200mah protected 18650s? as in if i source other protected 18650s they should work in the haze?

Honestly if you use the sandwich method you can probably use any of the screens or cans. This is something I would probably experiment with and find your preference.

That sucks. Call me bro.

I run full sessions on level one all the time for nice low temp vapor but would be interested in hearing other perspectives. You can get an Ed's 18MM WonG or use the @Ratchett NU-SonG to adapt it to a bubbler.

The XL's are 3200mah protected. There are alternatives and if you search the thread you will find some. However I think most agree here that sticking with the Haze batteries is the safe way to go.

Does anyone else's charger make a small, quiet chirping sound if you put your ear up to it like every second or so when batteries are charging? I don't notice it, but my GF doesn't and I'm not allowed to charge batteries over night now because it drives her crazy.

Don't have my haze yet (YET!!!), but certain chargers I definitely notice this with, some chargers make extremely high pitch chirps on the charge cycles, most humans probably couldn't hear it but younger people and people with more sensitive hearing will notice it.

you can charge the Haze brand batteries with 18650 compatible chargers, can't you? if you can, i would say just get a different charger.
