Imagine, if you will, two chambers seperated by water. You change the pressure in one chamber, a chamber not only in sight and bubbly sound, but one with a mouthpiece, the other chamber sealed expcet through your perc. The pressures need to journey to equalize and do so through the water boundaries in the form of bubbles. Your imagination and pressure are good. That's the signpost, up ahead. I've been staring at the VXN that came with my kit....it looks interesting. Never done it before, nothing but flower all my life.

For those with experience...is it hard to go back to flower after getting into concentrates? Concentrates seem to be much more potent. I feel like I'll be tempted to buy a dedicated machine like the VB2 if it's as potent as it seems.

i dont think so...
the first time i did concentrates i did no flowers for like 2 weeks, because i was so amazed by concentrates, but the novelty wore off and i use flowers and no concentrates again. i only really use concentrates if a friend offers.

Hmmm... maybe just a slight leak in the GONG seal between the EVO and the waterpiece? Clean the ground surfaces with ISO to get 'em squeaky clean. If there's still a bit of a leak, at least you know those surfaces are now clean and sanitary.

That, and there's a product I found at LHS that was called toobloob (Google failing me now mostly because of Rule 34) or something similar that basically looked like chapstick. Instead of slick, sticky lip-numbing goodness it was some special formula of wax or paraffin that had the primary purpose of ensuring the glass pieces didn't lock together. I noticed with a few glass pieces of questionable origin that it helped with the seal. Didn't really notice before since it sealed "good enough", but I don't really want to return to that place and haven't seen it elsewhere since... So that's like not really helping but I'll throw that out there anyway

As long as the leak is not coming from between the ends of the EVO, set it for cruise control, IMO! Considering all the sources these interchangeable "GonG" parts come from, it's amazing they fit together so well as it is! I've run into a few rejects from the "GonG Show", but I've had an excellent run so far.

I like bubbles and intend to study this phenomena forthwith, selecting randomly among my own devices!

I just took advantage of stickstones code again...I have a double matrix perc but its a pain in ass twisting my neck to use it with the EVO because of clearance...grabbed the 18/18 adapter set though because it was oh so smooth. Got me 4 more herb baskets too Thanks again! Keep taking my money lol

Mine was delayed a 3-4 days during the sale. They did send me an email on day 2 to let me know they had a short delay due to sales volume.

It's not hard to go back, but your tolerance may increase. I used to have a pretty low tolerance until I started to dabble in concentrates. Now I think I have a more "normal" tolerance.

Nice. You'll love it. Just last night I was looking in the mirror as i let out a hit and i was just fucking dumbfounded over how a vaporizer could produce such huge hits. It never ceases to amaze me, this thing.

It's basically a vapor bong. Hits are probably even bigger than what I'd get from a bong since the vapor isnt as harsh on my throat. And the effect is like dabbing weed.

You don't know what you're missing man!

Everyone should be able to appreciate both. Concentrates are awesome when you're trying to get as stoned as possible in the least amount of time. Ideal if you're tired after work, or in a rush to go somewhere, or simply just want to get as high as possible with some friends. Each hash hit is "fresh", so depending on the quality of the hash it's usually way tastier than flower per hit. Flower, on the other hand, is perfect when you're just trying to relax, enjoy some music or company, and you're not in any hurry to get ridiculously stoned instantly.

I'd argue that for your money, you get more hits out of flower, but the fewer hash hits you do take will get you higher. But that's mostly anecdotal because it's really based on how big of hits you like to take, how much you pay for your flower and hash, etc.

A tiny bit of hash here, a bit there - it's really easy to make hash last awhile. But if you're in the mood, it's very easy to make it go quickly too. Probably a good idea to lock away most of your hash if you're getting drunk with friends.

I've always loved dabbling in concentrates while using flower. I used to always just add it to a bowl until I got a couple vapes that could do them by themselves. I use a very small amount in order to keep my tolerance at a manageable level. Not everyone moves on to just using oil. I was also so pleasantly surprised at how effective the EVO is with concentrates. I take between two and four tiny dabs a day, usually in the VB2 since that's what it's for, but often out of the EVO, too. The EVO will restrict you a little bit anyway by forcing you to keep your dabs small. If you have access to good extracts then I highly recommend giving that VXNail a try. Use a tiny amount a pull slow!

This is a common concern and one I shared for a long time. Only recently have I had access to concentrates and I really enjoy them. I am very conscious not to go to them exclusively for more than a day, though. I love having them around for those times when I want more than flowers can give quickly. If you can use them the way I do, you will really love the shake up they provide and a gram can last a long time. Also, those vxnails deliver the second best concentrate I have found, so you are good to go with the best dual purpose vape available!

Edit: Goddamn, i hate to trash talk another vape without trying it but have you guys seen the Vaporbrothrr VB2.5? $1,199?!!!!!???!! For what is essentially an electronic nail and dome rig? No way, man. There's no way the marginal increase in vapor quality that it might provide is worth it being over 3x as expensive as the EVO (at its sale price). I seriously and honestly must be missing something

I haven't tried the VB2.5, but the VB2 is the best concentrate hit I have enjoyed. The Evo is second and way ahead of everything else.

For the money, the Evo can't be beat for both.

I think everyone feels that way, until they try one. The VB2 is the best in the Dab in the business as far as I'm concerned. The 2.5 can only be as good or better. That being said, I can honestly say I have never felt the effects off a dab the way I did with the VB2. I can't wait until i get mine back! The EVO provides an entirely different experience with dabbing. A more slow relaxed, rather than the Flash face punching VB dab!

I don't want to speak for Stickstones, but I retired my HE Ti nail setup purely because I much prefer the taste and convenience of the VHX. Personally I find it really nice not having to heat up a nail, or apply a dab while taking the hit. If I let the hash sit in unit for 10 seconds before taking it, the hit will be way more dense than anything I could get from an oil rig without doing a monstrous hit.

Also, for some reason - it's a lot less messy. After a day of dabbing my oil rig will have huge chunks of reclaim floating around in it. But through the VXH I only get a yellow tinge in one part of my hydratube. I'm not sure why this is the case but it's a night and day difference for me.

did it side by side with the Evo. no contest. you taste things with the Evo that just don't show up with a torch/nail. at least i did.

When I first plugged it in it went red, even though it was off. Tried toggling and seems it stays red, when off and plugged in?

EDIT just went green. Burn off necessary? Smells a bit factory fresh...

My colors acted weird when I got it too, can't remember what though it went away very fast.

Maybe let it burn off a bit, def would burn off the nails. Shouldn't need too long though...enjoy it! We won't hold ya to an update, that seems rough after using it first time it seems

It shouldnt stay red when its off and plugged in. It should just turn off with no light.

Does it heat up when its switched off or does the light just turn on? Id get some use out of it over the weekend and then send it back Monday.

Try setting it to noon and toggle the switch back and forth. If that doesn't work just use it anyway. That smell i can guarantee won't affect the vapor!

Yeah doesn't seem to do anything, also auto shut off should be an hour? Doesn't seem to be happening...

Had a small bowl with a friend, I dono about the taste though... We'll see. Definitely lotta vapor. Trying bowl two now...

EDIT scratch that, mistimed it, autoshutoff works, but gotta unplug and plug in again cuz the power switch does nothing. Not a huge deal honestly... But still unsure about taste etc. Getting ripped though obviously
