for me there's a difference between mornings on days I'll have stuff to do(like lectures) or mornings where I can be unproductive all day if I want to.

my day pretty much always starts with taking 2 slices of bread out of the freezer, then when they're thawed(possibly with the help of the microwave) I'll butter them and usually put hagelslag in between. hagelslag is a pretty common thing to put on bread around here, it's chocolate sprinkles(although there are other versions that are aniseflavored, or fruitflavored, or forestfruitflavored, and you can get them in dark or milkchocolate, moccaflavored chocolate, etc). but for variation I sometimes use honey, or applebutter, or chocolatepaste.

then a glass of milk, and after that a cup of coffee. on days I don't have to do anything, that coffee is often combined with some vaping, often with my arizer air since usually the underdog isn't warmed up enough yet at that point.

but sometimes I'm out of bread(I usually go to the supermarket in the evening, but bread is usually sold out around 5 in the afternoon), so in that case I often bake some eggs(either stirred, with some salt and pepper added when it's done, or as omelette with some cheese on top, and some herbs/spices). or I just eat some leftovers from my previous dinner.

and when I'm hungover I often have a craving for sweet and a dry mouth, so before eating breaklfas I'll drink 1-2 glasses fruitjuice, or orange juice if I have some oranges laying around(I only buy them when they're on sale)

(often when I have to get up early I'm not really hungry though, I just want coffee, but I have to eat something to avoid stomach ache from coffee)

I used to do drugs. I still do, but I used to, too
So I have upgraded my daily banana routine.

I have brought a Bervile Blend Active for £25 (a cheaper more usable and easier to maintain nutri bullet)

This thing has changed my mornings.

Now my humble 'nana gets combined with a selection of juices, coconut water some honey and handful of fresh frozen berries and whatever is fresh in the bowl.

I wizz it up in the active, swap lids, rinse the blade and my arse is out the door.

It leeps me going right through till lunch.

Can't recommend if enough.

Did I mention the kids love it too.

Here's an example of my typical feelgood daystart:

bFuVKo1.jpg

Cut fresh fruit (usually banana and another fruit; I think apple here), tossed with full-fat unsweetened greek yogurt and raw organic pumpkin seeds, topped with salted cashews and a mixture of organic buckwheat, hemp and chia seeds. I think this qualifies as ketogenic, at least it seems to help me more than hurt me.

You can keep your banana's. Saturday morning this is where I will be. Mrs. PP is gonna shit a brick when she see's this.
lwien is this something you've made in the past and if so any tips?
Just watched a quick video and it looks even better when it's runny.

I did the Avocado, egg and bacon thing this weekend for brunch.
Missed breakfast as Mrs.PP was hung over and apparently it was my fault for not telling her to stop drinking. Go figure. I haven't had a hang over for over a year and can't say I miss them.

It was good and I will do it again but will make sure I have a good quality streaky and ripe avocado for next time.

Yesterday saw me traveling from the 'sticks' into Nottingham. I have been visiting Caribbean Flavours for Jerk Chicken and Seasoned Rice for years now. When I first went the place was called 'D Grill' and was next door to 'C the Barber'.
Today's breakfast is from there. Chicken Dumpling. Hard dough pasty filled with a chicken curry mix. Easy enough to make yourself but I can't not buy one or two whenever I visit Notts. $2 and very filling.

G'morning y'all!!!

Breakfasting in Amsterdam at Vinnies . . .
Vinnies-Deli-3.jpg

We found this lovely café about a 15 or 20 minute walk away from Amsterdam centraal station. I naturally went with one of the vegan options, which was an open sandwich consisting of blackbean hummus, avocado, coriander and lime. While my good lady ordered poached eggs & smoked salmon on toasted brioche . . . .

. . . . Along with a couple of lattes (almond milk for me). And oh boy! It was ALLGOOOOOOOOOD!!!

Such lovely & friendly people too - I would certainly go back, & I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting the 'Dam who is in need of a quick & very tasty breakfast or snack, and the chance to relax in a quaint but bright & breezy setting

Yeah Minn, if you're passing that way, or even if you head that way via a few coffee shops after leaving Amsterdam Centraal station, it's certainly worth a little look-see, if you're feeling peckish . . .
it is truly an awesome place that has a loaded Zion on every table
Haha! Now, I can't guarantee it for your visit, but as long as I'm there, there will be! :D Heehee!

O.k, so I know that this is not a 'Vinnies', by any stretch of the imagination, but I can dream, can't I?!!

And anyway, I still wholeheartedly enjoyed my orange juice 'n' sparkling water, & some form of coffee with almond milk, along with mashed 'n' seasoned avocado on wholemeal toast - oh, and not forgetting the obligatory vapor appetizers & chasers, of course
You see? I really only need the simple things :)

BREAKFASTERS!!!! . . . . .

Good Morning fine folk of FC!

I rather enjoyed this thread from way back when, so thought I'd give it a little nudge to see if any of our current members want to share their breakfast routines & treats, or maybe a favourite strain which is particularly good for getting the day started.

As for me, the smoothies have taken a backseat recently, in favour of something a little bit easier as I am currently in recovery mode . . . .

So, today's light breakfast consists of two slices of Marmite (love it or hate it? I LOVE it!!) on toast using homemade organic white bread, followed by an iced latte made with some freshly ground, deliciously rich, organic Javascript Espresso beans care of Beanberry Coffee Company. Oh, & of course, some barista style organic oat milk from Minor Figures  Yum!

I admit, to some it may seem a pretty odd time of year for iced lattes but, they go down so damn well & seem to be quite gentle on my stomach compared to my usual rather strong Americano, so, as well as combustion I say 'fuck convention'!

I hope you all have a great day!

YAWN! :suspicious:

Good morning folks! :D

I've decided to start my very first thread. So, I thought what better subject to get things kicked off with than the most important meal of the entire day - BREAKFAST!!!
I love it! And never miss it.

How about you?

To me, a day would not be a day without the required fuel to get it started, & for me this usually comes in the form of food, drink & vapor :)

To manage my own health issues, I ALWAYS start the day off with a fruit, veg, seed & powder non-dairy blend.

So, this is today's version:
1 x organic banana
1 x organic apple
1 x organic kiwi
1 x organic carrot
1 x sharon fruit
1 x plum
30g organic hemp protien powder
20g organic spirulina powder
35g of dehulled organic hemp seeds
500ml of almond milk

The fruit & veg are chopped & then all ingredients are mixed with a hand blender to a fairly smooth consistency. It's all then sent on it's way - down the hatch - usually in about 15 rather largs gulps as I'm anxiously clock watching in an attempt not to be late for work . . .

This morning however, I have time for a hot drink too.

- Today, it's a refreshing cup of Earl Grey Rooibos tea. I really love this stuff. Hardly any tannins to upset me.

And finally . . . Hello Vapman and unknown nameless ;):)

So how about ya'll?
What gets you going in the morning?
What are you having THIS morning?
Coffee, vape & out the door?
Which strain? Which device?
Do you have a family\group breakfast?
Are your weekend breakfasts more extravagant?
What are your breakfast traditions?
Maybe you don't eat breakfast at all?
What is your morning routine?
Yoga? A run? Walking the dog?
Even breakfast anecdotes are welcome here! :)

COME AND SHARE!!

I WANT TO KNOW ALL THINGS BREAKFASTY FROM THE FAR REACHES OF FC!!!

Wow! That looks so healthy.

For me, it's a scoop of Slimfast + scoop of protein powder, into the blender with a large glass of milk. --> First breakfast

About 30 minutes later and it is a cup of tea, fruit or toast, and a nice sativa. --> Second breakfast

Once that is done, my day begins.

I'm not much of a breakfast person, mostly I just have a coffee. but today I'm starting the day with a scrambled egg omelet and a piece of toast and some habanero hot sauce.
