What piece am I missing on my volcano?

I bought this volcano used. It works great for making vapor!! But... i have to tape the chamber to the base, or hold it there while it fills up. I know that's not how it is supposed to work. The person I bought it from mentioned what piece was broken, but I forgot... and it has been several years so no way to ask again. I've just been dealing with it, but ready to finally fix it. What piece(s) do I need to order to fix it? It has to be a very simple fix since otherwise it is amazing. I'm probably going to kick myself for waiting so long to fix it and wasting so much tape.

Idk what's missing but I strongly suggest not using tape because it may produce toxic chemicals that you're inhaling into your lungs. You also should try asking this question in Volcano thread as well.

Does your bowl balance on the volcano?

show us a picture of your existing bit that you tape to the top of the volcano... then we can work out what it is you've got and what's missing.
