I was hesitant on the FC-Mod after someone else here having issues, but it's a smooth piece that looks/fits together very nice. Shipping took ten days this time, not bad. Overall I'm happy with this order.

Can someone measure the diameter opening of their Mothership Mini knockoff from Steven? I'm making a 14mm silicone adapter for the real Mothership Mini and I'm curious to know if it works in the knockoff

That's a good point. What kind of perc are they usually using on the fab? I think I've seen honeycomb, and that would be just as "excessive" as the matrix I would think. A showerhead?

If I do get one of these it will probably be over the holidays...

Sorry about the missing 'e'. My Chinese just is not so good hihi.

Might be overkill, might not. I find it does not rob much flavor when using with oil, still have to test with a vape.

Can pull as hard as you want, no water drinking with this one. Top row of perc fires easily, to get bottom row firing one has to pull a bit harder.

I'm very interested but also want several glass adapters, 14 mm female joint to 18 mm male joint.
Does Steven sell those too? I'd have them shipped with the HT.
I've never ordered from him or been to his e-store.

@MinnBobber, unfortunately Steven does not sell any adapters, wish he did. Sunshinestore has a good selection, ordered a bunch of adapters from them last month, good quality.

I'm wanting to know between the two styles, one being just an open down stem and the other having tree percs which should taste the best and with them both being compact would it even be noticeable?

I broke the joint on my fc 710 a while ago (stuck nail), but I was able to still use it until it broke completely off about two weeks ago. Ordered a new 710 and the fc cake, much faster shipping this time. Around 13 days from the order date. Seems better quality from the first example. The cake is nice, but bigger than I thought and an 18mil joint, which isn't a bad thing but all my shit is for 14mil. Taste is still best on the 710.

Now I'm looking at getting another piece. I'm a flavor chaser for sure and will use for concentrates only. Any recommendations on other flavor pieces like the 710?

The FC-Donut is pretty good flavor wise as you can use a super tiny amount of water if you tilt it a bit during use. That or just get a minitube that is 6 inches or less (sorry no recommendations my mini is American) as they have great flavor and the short air path kinda makes it a bit more intense.

That being said I would say the CCG Torus and CCG fab baby bottle both have pretty good flavor but they're both a step down from the 710.

In terms of flavor, even if I want to occasionally use dry herbs with it which should yield the best taste?

I know that less diffusion is best for flavor as well as having a smaller bubbler/bong but with both being compact would diffusion with the tree percs play that much of a role with flavor?
